To prepare such vaccines, a lot of extra expertise is needed which adds to the cost of its manufacturing and hence an added cost to the consumer. So, all in all, the immunity effect remains same but the cost is a bit higher.

Under national immunization programme, the cost for these basic vaccines is beared by the govt.. hence its free of cost for a child. If you have to go for some special vaccine other than these, then only you will be paying for it.
