Vaccination is a widely-used method of immunizing populations against communicable illnesses. In this video, we’ll show in detail the standard method of administering a vaccine. We cover not only the injection of the vaccine but also pre-injection and post-injection procedures that ensure safety and efficiency. The information in this video is especially important for care providers immunizing against COVID-19.

Please Note: This video is based on the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The CDC no longer recommends aspiration prior to injection because blood vessels local to the injection site are too small to pose a risk of intravascular injection. I am pretty sure that records can prevent having to answer so many questions, and yes they can be transferred pretty quickly and most of the preparation wouldn’t be done in front of the patient
