So here in Canada, if you want a job related to French, you will have to live in the province of Quebec, there you can find any jobs with French. In other provinces, English is the first language and unless you are a European French speaker and a teacher, you will have a lot of trouble to find a French speaking job only. There are French speaking communities all over Canada but not for jobs.

Is it because the video is referring to “on” or to mean “making one’s own homemade cheese” and for “on” the rule is to use third person possessive adjectives? Thank you for all your videos and help.

What confuses me is: what if a female speaking is referring to a man :eg ma Voisine or mon voisin ? Which one do I use is a sentence if I am a female referring to my neighbour who is a man ?? Please clarify. 🙏
Sandra that's a common struggle among French learners ;) But you are looking at it the wrong way. In French, a noun has a gender and nothing around it changes it. So for voisin, if it's a man, mon voisin, if it's a woman, ma voisine. It never changes :)

That's a great question Henrik! The use of SON here is for general titles and explanations. You can find the same in recipes as well :)
