This is Kacee's first time watching reaction to the movie "EuroTrip" (2003). After a brutal breakup at a high-school graduation party, lovelorn Ohio teen Scott Thomas (Scott Mechlowicz) goes on a quest across Europe to find his sexy German pen pal, Mieke (Jessica Boehrs). Joining him are his brainless buddy (Jacob Pitts) and a pair of twins (Travis Wester, Michelle Trachtenberg) they meet up with in Paris. Scott's quest does not turn out to be easy, however, and the backpackers become embroiled in many farcical situations as they hop from country to country.

Please, continue reacting on 'Rick and Morty' Season 7. I'll tell you, the Finale of Season 7 is awesome! 😃😃
You need to watch American Pie! That’s the king of all teen sex movies
My favorite “raunchy comedy” is Clerks from 1994. It was nearly rated NC-17 for the language alone. Written and directed by Kevin Smith, it introduced the world to comedy duo Jay & Silent Bob.
@@jrobwoo688 was Jay and Silent Bob a spin-off to that movie?
Scotty Doesn't Know is still one of the greatest songs ever created. I still listen to it on my Playlist to this day.
Same. As she said, song slaps 😂😂
I have it on my playlists also. Sometimes I even rotate that intro for my ringtone. It really is a great song, not even as a comedic song but it really does rock.
“Scotty Doesn’t Know That Fiona And Me Do It In Her Van Every Sunday…” 🎶
I have the Euro club mix
HARD AGREE
Such an under-rated movie. For those who watched it back in the day will never forget that Scotty doesn't know. I loved his friend getting a promotion after being MIA the whole internship.
“No they fired Humphrey! i got his office and a raise. “
Such a funny ending to that.
Fun fact: Kids these days don't know, that Scotty doesn't know...
What’s goin on here??
That was hilarious Cooper getting promoted
This movie works even better if you are european... All the stereotypes are just brilliant. The only thing I wouldve changed is Mieke living in Munich... To let the little kid march in Lederhosen and let the old maid wear a Dirndl
Forgetting Sarah Marshall would definitely be a fun "raunchy" comedy movie for you guys to watch.
Love that movie. Still wish we got the full dracula puppet play but at least we got to see Jason Segal in a muppet movie.
Yesssss
Undoubtedly one of the best man-butt scenes ever filmed.
It's more like wholesome-raunchy, lol
The flip flop speech/scene is my absolute favorite Russel Brand scene in the whole movie.
FUN FACT: Basically the whole movie was shot in Prague, Czech Republic and you can find Czech actors throughout the whole movie including the France football fan, the hotel waiter and manager in Bratislava, three Wondersexxx girls and one of the latex-wearing huge men there. Also, Mieke's brother Gunter is played by Petr Jákl who - apart from an actor - is also one of the best Czech movie directors of the past years. 😊
EDIT: It's hard to notice at first but the tall Italian man in Vatican with long black hair is the actor who portrayed Igor Karkaroff, the Durmstrang school headmaster in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005) releasing just a year after Eurotrip (2004). 😊
And Mieke, Jessica Bohrs, is better known as a German singer than an actress. Her Time After Time cover is pretty darn good.
Since you know this much, who's the cute blonde girl who plays the massages Jamie in the Bratislava scene?😩
@@captainultraswaggaоккупантов? Ты не охуел ли часом, клоун?
@@joelwillems4081 She's lovely. I didn't know she's a singer, gonna check her out.
Nice spot for Igor Karkaroff!
20 years later and I wonder how many people would start singing the rest of the song, when someone says to them " Scotty doesn't know.." I've been hoping someone would react to this...gem? 😂and I'm SO happy it's you two who did!
I was 15 when this came out and loved it more than I probably should have (my friend and I rented it from Blockbuster and watched it multiple times that night) Talk about nostalgia from teen years.
You probably already know, but a reactor named Devin G did a month or so ago (and loved it). Hopefully others keep joining in.
@clevelandcbi It's Mr Video watched it a few months ago and also SebScreen put up a video last week
It is my ringtone on my phone
"Did y'all's parents have to print out directions on mapquest?"
Me: fuck I'm old.
we had paper maps
My parents? I was 17 and I printed then when I had to drive to a new place.
Eurotrip is absolutely one of my favorite movies. I saw it 11 times in theaters. I was still in high school and very depressed at the time and I would ditch and go see this. Got me through a really hard time.
I saw this movie in 2004, I was 17 at the time and I liked it. But I don’t care for teen sex comedy movies anymore… I didn’t care for Road Trip or Superbad
One of my all time favorite comedies, so damn funny!
"You didn't tell your boss you were going to Europe."
"They would have stopped paying me. This seemed easier"
This was actually the last teen sex movie that I actually liked.
I didn’t care for Road Trip or Superbad.
I know that Road Trip is older than this movie but I didn’t see Road Trip until just recently
@@nsasupporter7557 Road Trip is okay but def the worst of these films
@@nsasupporter7557 Nah fuck that, Superbad is great. Don't care much for Road Trip though.
Try canadian pie@@nsasupporter7557
The amount of people that wanted to try Absinthe SO BAD after this movie came out only to find out, after finally trying it, that it tastes like black licorice and doesn't make you trip balls -- was ridiculous. And yes, I was one of them.
Them folks down south just wanted an excuse for screwing family members😅
Same
same. i also did the whole sugar cube on fire thing.
If you mix it with liquid codeine and NyQuil you do
unless you are one of the few people who actually had the real absinthe you realize its different right. The fact you guys couldnt even do a google search to find out it can make you hallucinate is astounding.
A underrated Teen Comedy from 2006 "Accepted" you should watch. The film stars Justin Long, Jonah Hill, Blake Lively & the supper funny & great Lewis Black. Lewis Black character in Accepted is suppose to be crazy but he is so correct & funny at the same time.
Seconded, BIG TIME
South Harmon Institute of Technology
They would probably like Superbad too
SHITheads unite!
Ask me about my weiner!
I remember I died when Lucy Lawless cried "HANS! GRUBER!!!"
😂😂😂
Also all of Vinnie Jones scenes are behind hilarious
😂😂😂
I graduated in 2004, damn...
The most vivid memory was the "mi scusi" scene, and it's quite popular in my country even now. You can still quote this in some random cringy moment knowing that at least few people would understand the reference 😀
Class of 04 as well. Good times and funny movies
I say it all the time still.
@@tallicafan85I was class of 05, that was a great year
04 here as well. This movie holds a special place in my heart because I was dating a girl from Amsterdam at the time. Her dad was a professor, and she came overseas with him. After a while, she went back & we tried to online date, but long-distance relationships rarely work out.
04 here too! I watch this movie every couple of years just because it's awesome
This movie is just so much fun, even if not everything holds up years later. I crack up laughing almost every time.
This movie has been shot mostly in Czechia, including the "Bratislava" (they used some deserted village in the middle of nowhere), most of the cast as well. Luckily, Matt Damon was shooting another movie in Czechia at the time - so he joined this one for fun. Btw. I lived in Bratislava (Slovakia) 1993-2011 and when I was having people from abroad to travel to Bratislava for a training, I asked them to watch THIS movie - so they know "what to expect"
"Scotty Doesn't Know" is actually on my Spotify playlist lol, 20 years later(🤯) it's still a banger! I love the fact that the lead singer of the band is Matt Damon(even though he's not actually singing) and Fiona is Kristin Kreuk(aka Lana Lang from Smallville, which I highly recommend watching). This is one of those sleeper hits, it's hilarious and a classic.
This really is one of my favorite comedies. I love how they rip on pretty much every culture and make no apologies for it haha
Lived in Germany for all of the 80's and left in '91 just after the reunification. David Hasselhoff as a result of the likes of Knight Rider was massive in Germany. His songs were often in the charts. He was such a big thing, that he was one of the acts singing on the Berlin Wall just weeks after it came down.
3:19 I had watched like 100 episodes of her as Lana Lang in Smallville so not only was it a shock for me to see this (basically pure and innocent character) be in this movie at all, as I hadn't seen her in anything else.. it was a 1000% shock to see her portray the character she plays. It was a double whammy.
I only knew her as Buffys sister in Buffy the Vampire Slayer
@@BadDubIIdifferent actresses. They were talking about Fiona
oh right @@EvilAbed
@@EvilAbedSo this confirms it. We are in the worst timeline. I’ll go make myself a felt goatee.
@@BadDubIITo be fair, the original comment fits both actresses.
Sex Drive is very similar to this. No Europe, but a guy going after a girl across the country and things happen. And it has James Marsden being insanely hilarious.
Unrated version if you aren't afraid.
Sex Drive is worth it for the Seth Green cameo alone
Agreed, donut scene always gets me.
Listen to me when I say this is one of my fav most underrated movies and anytime any reaction channel reacts to it I’m here for it😂👏🏾 literally still have Scotty doesn’t know saved in my 2000s music playlist
Notes from 20 years ago. Hasselhoff wasn't actually too random. The Hoff was in Baywatch, which initially crashed and burned in the US. But it was a huge hit in other parts of the world and for some reason, the Germans loved Hoff. He was a huge star over there. He was also a running punchline on Weekend Update while Norm MacDonald was the anchor. This theory was that " Germans Love David Hasselhoff."
It's funnier in context.
Also, that was Lucy "Xena" Lawless as the Amsterdam club hostess.
The first season of Baywatch failed, but it did well internationally that they decided to do a second season. It then became very popular in the US when it went to syndication. It did not crash and burn, it was just not a prime-time show. Worked better as a Saturday night show on local channels.
This is my #1 guilty pleasure movie. I crack up every single time.
I was ironically class of 2004. Our motto thingy was "Hear our power, hear our roar. We're the class 2004!". I just cringed a bit that i am able to even remember it. 😂
Yeah, that's bad.
Seriously, if I'd been told that motto in earnest by a graduate, I'd have burst out laughing ;)
@@kuldan5853 its fucking terrible. I remember the day they told us that, and the level of cringe and disappointment i had. The only good thing about it, is we (or I) never had to say that phrase in school.
Oh, man. How dare you remind me of this ; ) .... "We are the class of '92! And we will stomp all over you-u!! We are the class of '92! And we will stomp all over you!"
[....Yeah, I never heard it again after the day it was introduced.]
Ours was "'04, like none before"
Fun fact: Scott Doesn't Know was performed by the band Lustra and was on one of their albums. It was their only song to hit the American billboard top 100 songs.
Have y'all watched Van Wilder yet? That's one of my favorite raunchy comedies of the 2000's... 😎
That movie was “wild”. One of those “so bad it’s good” kind of movies
The laxative scene still haunts me to this day.
Yes! Van Wilder was such a great movie
@@RuanAntunes7no it wasn’t, it was a great movie
The Van Wilder movies are based off of one man's alleged true stories. Max something. I ran across them way back in the 00's on the internet. They are as hilarious as they are appalling.
20:38 Can't tell what is funnier, Anthony waiting for Kacee's reaction or Kacee taking a second to process what is happening
Eurotrip and The New Guy are the two Raunchy comedies that defined my teenage years. You guys absolutely need to see The New Guy if you haven't
The New Guy is a completely forgotten movie lol
They’d probably like Superbad
@@nsasupporter7557 Forgotten?!? But…but… Eliza!
I still watch this movie to this day 🤣 one of my favorites
I remember my older cousins, showing me this movie, and this being the funniest thing in the world. At the time I laughed to the point I was literally crying.
yeah and me too I watched with my cousin the first time. She is one year older than me and always new what;s hot
I am so happy that so many reactors are reacting to Eurotrip now! Before, I could only find like two reaction videos for it.
One of my ALL TIME favorite comedies. SUPER happy y'all finally got to see this one!!
Kristen Kruek, the actress who played Lana Lang in the hit Superman series SMALLVILLE, is in the movie!
She was and still is one of my celebrity crushes. Smallville was amazing.

I can't even count the times I saw this as a kid. Timeless indeed
@@dotConcept I was 17/18 when it came out in 2004
lol. I only remembered 3 things about this movie myself.
1. Scotty Doesn't Know (of course!)
2. Mi scusi.
3. The safe word.
I remember HBO had the rights to this for on demand and that's when it really blew up when I was in high school like a year or two after it came out. Definitely one of my favorite raunchy comedies from that period of late 90s mid 2000s
This is one of the movies I watched as a kid/teen that hyped me to hit the road and travel as much as I possible can, and here I am, 26 countries and counting. Great reaction! (and I do own a Leica 35mm film camera 😂)
Such an iconic movie. Still get together with my childhood friends and this is one of the movies we watch 😁
Not as iconic as American Pie. They need to watch that too
Class of 04 and I had to print off map quest directions there for a few years before smart phones lol
you guys are on a roll for these nostalgic comedy movies and im here for it
This, road trip and sex drive are some of the best American pie style comedies. Sex drive is underrated and made pretty good
Holy shit I completely forgot about sex drive 🤣
Would everybody please shut up about calling everything underrated! I don’t know why everybody loves that word so much but it’s annoying as hell because people use every 2 seconds
@@MrMcbearor Superbad
This is one of the absolute funniest movies out there, its so great :) what is also great with it is the directors commentary track on this movie, they basically turn the movie and the commentary track into a drinking game where they are doing shots and its just hilarious :D
This isn't where I parked my car is still one of my favorite lines.
aaaah back when good comedies were still a thing. I remember those times fondly... RIP
Yall are watching al bangers. Thanks for your time.
Grandma's Boy. You guys need to see it.
I have NEVER seen anyone react to this. THANK YOU 🎉🎉
Y'all have been watching the most random stuff lately and I love it
The David Hasselhoff thing wasn't random he was a huge pop star in Germany😁
Seeing Kaycee's reaction I think she'll like Road Trip more. It's not a bad movie. It's actually pretty good. Worth a reaction.
IMO, Road Trip is basically a more crude, less funny version of Eurotrip.. (YES I know it came first!)
Road Trip Pros: Sean William Scott & DJ Qualls are great.
Eurotrip Pros: Michelle Trachtenberg, Absynthe, "Scotty Doesn't know", The Soccer Hooligans, more consistent humour.
Coin flip: Road Trip has Tom Green.. (Some hate him some love him.. I'm not a fan)
Road Trip is probably the best example of that kind of genre of movie. Personally I would say it's a technically better movie than American Pie easily, American Pie just had the bigger "meme" impact. It's weakest part is probably some of the end section goes by too fast, but the first 85% of the movie is fantastic, and the actual ending is really good. The other part between is OK, but slightly rushed.
@@jemal999 God no. It's not even close. There's a reason Eurotrip was a huge failure at the time and for a while after. People have since memed it, and turned it into a drinking game/party thing.
Scotty doesn’t know truly does slap so hard. One of many songs I bought on iTunes back when I was a teenager.
Another Great reaction, i haven’t seen this movie in its entirety in 10 years. Thanks for the laughs guys. 😊😂👏👏🥰
Grosse pointe blank is a great comedy and a great movie with john cusack :)
I also recommend this. It' an excellent film.
I still watch this movie all the time! It came out a year after i graduated high school. Still funny to this day.
I choked on my wine when you showed the "maatt damon" clip bcos I was doing exactly that "maatt damon" impression!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I have been waiting for someone, ANYONE, to react to this movie!!!!! It's my absolute favorite of all time!!!
Edit: The creepy Italian man on the train is Uncle Fester in Wednesday, by the way.
Edit: My parents actually tried absinthe, back when it was still illegal to sell here. They bought a bottle from Ireland. You're supposed to light a spoonful of it with a sugar cube, but they didn't know that. So they got a bunch of my dad's army friends and their wives together. My mom and one of the other wives took the first two shots, and toughed it out, no problem. And then these big strong army men were crying and throwing up after drinking it.
Whoever played cooper needs to be in more movies he is super funny and he’s the reason I keep coming back for this movie we’ll accept for the train scene and the sex club scene lol
I know right? I thought this would be a great springboard into more sidekick roles. He's perfect in that part.
I prefer that hot tub chick...
He was such an underrated and underused character in Justified...
Before Road Trip and Euro Trip there was National Lampoons Senior Trip. I haven't seen anyone react to that one yet.
I’m class of 02, this movie brings back some fond memories of me and my friends just hanging out and watching it for the first time.
''Enjoy Bratislava. It's good you came in summer, in winter it can get very depressing'' Is like the funniest line in the whole movie, its so spot on.
Nice one. Gotta do Road Trip too. Another old classic. Austin? Austin, Massachussets?
One of my favorite comedies of all time, infinitely watchable and quotable, still quoting it to this very day. *ERROR ERROR* 😂
This movie was filmed in Prague during the SARS Pandemic, so they had a hard time getting any cameos and such because getting anyone to come to Europe during SARS was not happening, but when they found out Matt Damon was already in Prague doing Brothers Grimm, they asked him to do the cameo and so he hopped over to their set on on of his days off. :)
Some comedies I'd recommend to you are: Tropic Thunder (a parody of Vietnam Era war movies and a satire on movie industry in general), Grandma's Boy (a gamer/stoner comedy), Superbad, Project X (both teenage party movies), Dirty Grandpa (Robert De Niro and Aubrey Plaza are comedic gold in it in my opinion🙂)
I seriously and unironically blast the song Scotty Doesn't Know quite regularly in my car while im driving around!! 😂 I love that song
There are three things i remember most fondly about this movie, the song, the train tunnel scene and Vinnie Jones being the legend that he is.
So, they wanna know about movies we saw as kids when we shouldn’t have? Mine was ‘Robocop’ when I was 8 years old. I remember hiding behind the couch for the “massacre’ scene when Murphy gets taken down. Gruesome to this day!
Greatest Comedy Movie off all time! So much more peeps need to see it ! :D Scotty doesnt know is my ringtone since 15 years or so
Fun fact, the lead football hooligan was played by Vinnie Jones, a well known and sucessful professional football player who, during his career, was known for being a little “confrontational” on the pitch shall we say lol. He then went on to act in a few different films, normally as a sort of tough guy character, probably his most well known role was in Guy Ritchies Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.
Haven't even started it yet, but this is one of my guilty pleasures. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
A true Raunchy cinema classic, Loved your review, and your channel.
Scotty Doesn’t Know was actually performed by the rock band Lustra was pretty popular in the mid-2000s. It even peaked at #53 on the U.S Billboard Charts.
Worked at the theater when this came out, saw it so many times lmao this dvd was on constant rotation with me and my roommates back jn 05
Hey, I graduated in 2004 too! Also, Matt Damon's appearance is gotta be the most epic cameo ever!
this is a pretty underrated movie and one of my favorites, always makes me laugh
One of the underrated comedies. I wish we still got movies like this these days.
Hey Anthony and Kacee! A friend and I are wanting to set up a youtube channel and we were curious about your setup. Do you watch stuff on a tv? If so, how are you doing screen capture? Any recommendations are appreciated! Thanks!
I rewatched this with my brother a couple weeks ago, and it was then that I finally learned that Cooper is also Tim in Justified
I'm so glad Casey is watching these early 2000s movies 😂😂 I love these reactions 🍿
I love this recap! My family must have watched it about 30 times haha
Scotty doesn’t know goes back to high school. We used to sing that song to my friend Scottie. So catchy lol
In college... a fair amount of time after this movie came out so people had forgotten about it, I was dating this super Christian girl from the next state over. I went to visit her family, when walking through the TSA my phone ring tone (back when phones actually rang with noise) went 'you got mail motha-fucka'' and both the TSA and my soon to be ex-girlfriend's mom thought I cussed them out at the same time.
Absinthe...the ingredient is Wormwood...it can be home brewed, or semi distilled using other alcohol and steeping the wormwood in it...but the end product in any case is a drink thats hard to palate...so the traditional approach is not a glass full...but to take cubes of sugar on a perforated spoon and pour the absinthe over it as it falls into a tumbler of ice, melting the sugar as it goes. Much more enjoyable after that. (To get the anise flavor, I recommend using ouzo as a starting point if you steep your own...or add anise to the mix.)
Love this movie. Scotty doesn't know!! I'm so happy you caught the "Hans. Gruber" Joke
BTW, the leader of the Man City supporters is Vinnie Jones. He has been in a ton of movies in these supporting roles. He also happened to be a former professional soccer player. He spent some time with Chelsea and several other clubs. He was known as a bit of an enforcer or "hard man" in that he was not shy about playing a physical style of game.
God I forgot how much I loved this movie in high school. It's crazy it's been 20 years.
"Scotty's so trusting. While I'm behind you thrusting.' 'This song slaps, though'. What perfect timing for that statement 🤣.
So, I'm slightly older since I graduated in 2002 ... I saw this movie when I was in college. I actually played the Scotty Song when I was in a band a while back, and people lost their minds every time 😂
Okay I did not expect this reaction vid at all now Im sub. This is movie is about as low key classic you can get and still till this day I bet people are looking for that glowing green "special" banned drink. Hey class of 2009 here to.
20:35 Best reaction ever 🤣The smile - to realization - to denial - to disgust
I had recorded Scotty doesn't know to my flip phone. Train scene is a classic. Also, the intro to this movie is still one of the most creative ones. I miss when movies had that
Another classic from my young adult years. I was Class of 2003. I had and still have a friend just like Coop (been friends since 10th grade). I also love Scotty's little brother. I still randomly sing "Scotty Doesnt Know" and i catch my 9 year old singing it now too. Ive also had "Mail motherfucker" as my text tone for like 15 years
I love the cameos by Fred armisen, Lucy lawless & Diedrich Bader (didn’t even realize he was in this until I watched this)
You guys are are reacting to sooo many awesome movies

The song "Scotty doesn't know" was actually performed by Matt Damon's Band Lustra ☺️
Matt Damon wasn't in Lustra. He only played the lead singer in the movie because they thought it would be funny. They were right
In the Navy a buddy of mine got high on Absinthe, came back to the ship, and watched Kung Foo Panda. All night he kept poking his head out of his bunk with a look of terror on his face and screaming "Baaaaaaaaaaad Paaaaaaanda!"
