I knew about him without realizing it: a few years ago, I think, a pair of pictures went viral. One was a picture of Sarah Huckabee signing a bill that legalized child labor. She was grinning ear to ear, and next to her were sad looking children in suits and ties.
The other picture was of when Tim Walz signed a bill that made school lunches free. A dozen kids were hugging him and cheering like he was Santa.
If that doesn't put the difference between the two parties today in stark contrast, I don't know what does.

(at no point did he claim he was in the ME, nor at anytime that he saw combat. Being in war and being in combat are two different things. You can be in a war and not be in combat and you could see combat, but the country wasn't actively at war.

He retired as a master sergeant in 2005 for benefit purposes because he did not complete additional coursework at the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy. He led that he was in combat.

Living in Minneapolis, during times of crisis, I saw much more of Governor Walz. He is a very real personable guy. I trust him 100%. He is the truth, genuine, kind, and is a blast without knowing it.
