@@naturalbornparentingnah I don’t think so he still has the English/American press on his side (not that they matter to Spaniards) but it def does mean a lot in world futbol. Until all of the media turns on him or barça board starts leaking the hints to ALL of the press he still has some wiggle room. But he NEEDS to maintain top 4.
That means that his competition is atletico, Atletic club and real betis rn. If any of them take that third and fourth spot he is out. That would be embarrassing for them, they need champions league futbol and I’m not even sure they deserve to play champions league futbol. Betis, Girona and atletico are better than them imo

Xavi's arrogance is the reason for this defeat in my opinion. Before the game he said Barca would dominate Madrid just like they did in the last el clasico, even though they've been playing poorly for months. The high line was a product of that arrogance. Once they went down 2-0 it was over.

Pedri looking average along with FDJ they look like average players as seen vs Athletico Gundogan lost the front 3 dont give anything and as for the defense they look 2nd div quality at best their positioning and decisions have been poor shone again in the Athletico game...

Barca will make top 4 in their sleep… thanks to the refs… but their is blood in the water for Napoli. Barca SHOULD win. Barca is more talented.
And then even if you get an impossible matchup in the CL like against Madrid, Bayern, or City… even playing respectable over two legs is a huge confidence boost moving forward.
