Story 1 - I don’t even have to know the pregnant person, if they said they didn’t want to be touched and someone touches them anyways, I’m in alert mode
@@WolfODonnelfan depends on how old they are. I have a hard time imagining you ask a 3 year old for permission to pick them up and only carry them when they say yes…..
As a diabetic zero sugar life style is super unhealthy. But you're not zero sugar if you drink 'cheap beer' that literally just drinking your pancakes😂
Anyone that says they "keep their sugar intake to almost zero" is just showing two things: 1) they don't understand what sugar is 2) they're an idiot. You can say "I watch my sugar intake" but tryna say you somehow manage to avoid any types of sugar (while somehow thinking a smoothie on top of beer have no added sugar?) is just stupid
@@dre1978keto can work very well for some people, but the thing is they replace sugar with another fuel our body burns anyways, all it is is making the body not rely on sugar as much and focus on fats instead of overstocking on it
@@QueenofTaterTots that's the difference between "I keep my sugar intake to almost zero" vs "I watch my sugar intake". Sugar intake during a keto diet is about replacing ADDED sugars, not natural sugars like what you get from fruit. No one that I have met that has done keto has worried about the sugar in fruits or anything they can't take it out of. If OP was on keto she would've said so, but the fact she's still drinking points to she's on no serious diet and thus just being pretentious
"I insulted my girlfriend, belittled her dreams, demanded that she give up what she wants in favor of what I want, and destroyed the apartment when she refused to react how I expected her to react! In what universe am I the bad guy here?!"
Yeah I fear for those children if this woman lets this man back into her life. These are children he didn't want that aren't his and he seems like the type of person that would have a problem with that. I wouldn't even have met up with this guy. I don't know what she's thinking.
This guy's either going to shape up or totally fumble the bag. She's clearly fully ready to dump someone she loves for the sake of her kids, so I hope she keeps one eye on OP.
He hasn't had any real relationships since and you can tell because he hasn't matured. He idealizes her because women aren't complete people to him. Yeah, he might be a danger to her kids too. He describes kids in the worst ways.
it might become a core memory even, (parent physically standing up for them/herself) in a good way. i dont have that memory, but it would feel reassuring AF, woudlnt it?
Don't you think wrestling your child out of a stranger's arms wouldn't be more traumatic than letting the stranger walk off with your child without a _violent_ fight? (/heavy sarcasm)
I love how OP at 12:53 is so far up his own ass, he's imagining this romantic life with Lila, all while not knowing her husband is dead. So he planned on 'sweeping her off her feet' while she was still married? 🙄 I really hope Lila takes off the rose colored glasses and gets her/her kids away from OP. Also, he was actually hoping they'd get back together that day they had their 'date'? Really? It's been 15 years after a nasty break-up and he really thought she'd jump right back into this clusterfuck
He’s one of those “Nice Guys”, who’s as narcissistic as Gaston from BatB and entitled like a Karen. And he sounds like he’s not gonna stop thinking about her to the point that he’ll find a way to stalk her, even with a PI. Also, he sounds like a very controlling jerk with a grudge against kids, and his verbal abuse and dangerous reaction to Lila’s decision to leave him just proves that he IS a “Nice Guy”. Gee, MAYBE if you respected, supported and actually cared about Lila’s life choice, you both would’ve had a thing. If you hadn’t acted like a deranged and entitled narcissist with an ego problem, you wouldn’t be a lonely loser, who’s all alone and looked down by your friends and family because of your actions. Overall, OP’s a disgusting scumbag!
@@rylashadow18 well yup, that's true, what I meant was he han be delulu for as long as he wants, until he doesn't let the world see he is. However, he did let her see his true intentions and Lila not rejecting him was either crap load of luck, her being the purest soul ever, or both.
I seriously doubt, judging on his character so far, that he would be good with the stepchildren. If they had a child together it would certainly be treated differently. Nope. Stay away!!!!
Story 3; LOOOL so this womans boyfriend goes out and gets hammered on a Tuesday night, brings an uninvited guest home, demands she cook them something AT MIDNIGHT then after cooking, the uninvited guest demands something different and Op is wondering why she might be upset… YTA Op this is ridiculous, i hope the poor girl didn’t have to be up super early for work the next day
Demand is odd they asked + she asked if there was anything she could make a smoothie with, as in OP making the smoothie. Dont get me wrong shes def the one who's in the wrong for the story but still
@@tyrellwharfewharfe4387 Well, gf was annoyed by the whole situation, but probably offered to be polite. The last straw was probably when OP was being picky
Story 1: They call it “Mama Bear” for a reason, and her actions were definitely justified. Stranger comes up and puts their hands on her after explicitly being told not to, then tries to pick up her daughter? Damn right they’re getting socked in the face!
@@fdm2155 i can understand dismissing it at first when they're waiting for a table, but witnessing first hand a violation of your wife and daughter's personal space, and you think your wife overreacted? nah, i'd be proud as hell if my wife stood up for herself in such a way.
@@fdm2155 Sexism probably. Some people have it in their head that women, even complete strangers, are never a threat to other women or children and that genuine baby obsessiveness is normal. And just because I know what people like to lurk in this comment section, this isn't about who is statistically more likely to be dangerous or who is more likely to receive leniency for what crimes, or custody battles or whatever else grifters with an axe to grind want to attribute it to. This is a systemic problem both men and women are guilty of.
Yes and not only this but women or not strangers can take your kid and run. Crazy women who went a baby or a woman who is doing it for a man like you have no idea who the person is. Never allow a stranger to touch your kid ever.
@@randomfan4521 The was a story On reddit where A guy waiting for his wife outside a store. His baby was in the carseat beside him and a woman just walked up and took the baby and tried to walk off. If his wife didn't come out that woman would've just kidnapped their child because people around took herside and had gotten the cops involved.
Story 3: So, let me get this straight. OP, a woman her best friend knew since high school then got drunk on shitty beer with said best friend on a Tuesday night was mystified why her best friend’s girlfriend was standoffish to her being invited to bestie’s and gf’s apartment at midnight to crash for the night instead of going home (bonus points for the bestie getting drunk with his old high school friends instead of doing something with/also inviting his gf on his birthday). Then, there was a disagreement on where OP was going to sleep, making it sound like this was kind of putting bestie and gf out or that OP was going to sleep someplace that the gf didn’t agree to. From there, OP let the gf go through making sugary, blueberry pancakes without bringing up how she doesn’t eat a lot of sugar, then refused to eat the food the gf made for her and tried to ask for other ingredients to make something else. The absolute gall of this woman has me speechless. “I was raised to be gracious towards hosts.” DUDE. Clearly that’s entirely superficial - gf was taking in an unexpected drunken guest her bf brought home, seemingly without ever introducing her to, and made this surprise drunk guest woman freaking PANCAKES at MIDNIGHT.
Big agree on everything but it wasn't his birthday - it was OPs father's birthday. So thankfully he didn't ditch his gf on his birthday but the story is still wild. Bringing home a drunk girl to your gf who she has most likely never met is WILD
S2) I also hate seeing cats outside… but it’s because if I think abt them being homeless and starving for longer than 5 seconds I’ll start to bawl This person is crazy 😭😭
i also hate seeing cats outside (except for barn cats) because they are a massive danger to bird populations and they should absolutely not be allowed outside unless on a harness or trained
Technically, she only asked if she could touch the wife. She never asked about picking up the daughter. She just tried picking her up without permission.
In case this comment isn't rhetorical, it's because people are so individualistic. So many folks old and young haven't had consequences because people try to keep the peace, when it finally happens it feels unfair to them.
Did the pancake guy really said "she added blueberries for even more sugar" and then said "I wanted a smoothie". Why do people really believe smoothies are super healthy? It's basically liquid calories, fills you for like an hour and it's dense in fructose that ok.. is not sucrose, but still? You could just eat a sandwich and actually feel full.
A smoothie is generally healthier than pancakes or a sandwich depending on what is in said things. If you blend the parts of the fruit you normally eat blending them and putting them in a smoothie doesn’t change the nutritional value. Now if you had said juicing I would have agreed with you because that does change the nutritional values.
...you're clearly not adding any fiber or protein to your smoothies, lmao, I make smoothies with 40g of protein and nearly 10g of fiber and i'm full for hours
Yeah agree with what the others said. But op is still a massive jerk, why not voice any preferences before or while she was making the batter? Or just say you didn't want any? Op waited till gf was done cooking to snub her food. Like hiw was the gf meant to onow tou like food a specific way...if you choose not to voice it. You just made her waste food of course she's snippy.
Story 4: I can understand not wanting kids, but not everyone is on the same boat. Lila understood that there was a difference in what both she and OP wanted in terms of kids and decided to split up. She was pretty respectful the whole way, while OP was not being stable will the yelling and breaking s**t. I'd say that OP has a VERY small chance of fully getting back together, because there's no guarantee he won't have another violent outburst
Telling her he didn't want kids was the only good thing he did, and not try to convince her not to after marriage. Besides that, this guy needs help, real help.
Story 3 - I dont think OP enjoys life. Compains about crappy beer, complains about the friends girlfriend not being cheery, complains about sugar, complains about berries, complains about butter. You just went out drinking, eating a damn normal ass pancake isnt gonna kill ya.
@@squeaktheswan2007most likely not, but this kind of behaviour from adults does hinder children's ability to set boundaries and to trust their feelings on someone... the father is putting the kid on harms way by teaching her that protecting her own body is a big nono.
Second story: I asked my cat Rex, he thinks the guy is beneath his notice. I asked my dog Morris, he thinks this guy is a jerk and is offended on his buddy's behalf.
Especially when he wrote "she lost the baby weight" as if that is somehow relevant and she wasn't attractive otherwise or he wouldn't consider dating her if she wasn't slim.
Op 5: "She told me she was a widow." Me: Oh don't do it. Op 5: "I asked if she was seeing anyone." Me: Oh my god. Op 5: "I asked if she was willing to give me another chance." Me: Oh my gooooood
@@myy1008the problem is his first reaction to knowing the father of her children is dead is try to make her “his” again like she isn’t a grieving widow
OP doesn't want to "let" his pregnant wife go outside? Girl, leave him before your daughter and unborn child even begin to think that behavior is normal.
I'm surprised that OP in the last story didn't jump for joy when he heard Lila was a widow. I really hope they don't end up together, Lila deserves better
As a child free person, that last story left me feeling knots in MY stomach. People are entitled to not want kids and to live out a childfree life, but Lila’s right. If one partner doesn’t want kids and the other does, the best is to just accept it and move on from each other, it would be unfair for both to remain in a relationship where they’d have to compromise on something so monumentally life changing. There’s SO much hypocrisy in how OP was complaining about how his life would be miserable if he had “crying, screaming, shitting brats” for Lila, but then when Lila reaffirms “no, I don’t want to throw away my dream life,” his resort is to scream, throw things, have a violent hissy fit because SHE’S not willing to give up her idea of happily every after for HIM. And it was somehow even more sick that, before seeing Lila again, he was hoping he could “sWOop HEr OfF hEr feeT ANd MaKe HeR MiNe AGaiN”. That after everything, after she left him to pursue her dreams and actually ACHIEVED them, he still wanted her to throw it all away to be with him. This behavior just makes childfree people look bad. I’m with RSlash here, I hope Lila realizes OP hasn’t changed and cuts things off with him, because he sounds like a genuinely abusive boyfriend.
Thing is his comment "the clock is ticking" and that "she should've had my kids" (paraphrased) makes me think he wants her to have his children (at least now). He sees her as an object, a trophy. He wanted his trophy to di whatever he wanted, and she disobeyed. But worse she had someone else's child. Okay, well they can get together and have HIS child which will replace the other children that aren't his. Like she's his territory he must reclaim. Imo I doubt he's truly changed his mind on children, a child is just a means to an end for him. Like does OP think that the problem is that he wouldn't have children and not his psycho meltdown. Also what other behaviors did he exhibit prior to the breakup. His family's reactions tell me they weren't surprised... And agree that nothing wrong with not wanting children, even finding then gross. But OP didn't care what Lila wanted and that she shouldn't have to give up her dreams for him.
Yeah I don't get it. Also FRUTE is nature's sugar that's good for you. Not sure what this dunderhead was thinking Also it's just pancakes, I'd eat them even with fruit
also that's a straight lie, beer, like mostly everything, does contain some amount of sugar, and so does fruit for her precious smoothie, but between binge drinking on a Tuesday and eating a pancake one is going to kill you faster, a supposed health nut would know that
OP in the last story has major anger issues and he seems so possessive as well. He wants everything to be his way and is thinking that his ex girlfriend should think his way. The more I write the more I feel she shouldn’t get back with him. He is so angry that she got away.
I got the creeps when he said their meetup was a date. How weird when to her it was NOT a date but a meeting. He's already making assumptions and crossing boundaries.
While he has issues, and he does… if Lilac is smart, she’ll keep him at arm’s length until he’s genuinely proven he’s improved. And hey, if he has improved, and he CAN be a good step-father/husband then… why stop it? Because he broke some stuff like a decade ago? Now whether he’s actually willing to do that work is a whole other story.
First story: the husband is a idiot The fact that he didn’t get any red alarms ringing from a stranger picking ip his daughter is very telling of his careless attitude In Asia, it’s not uncommon for kid papers and child traffickers to do that type of shit to steal babies and kids
1st story. The pregnant wife was completely justified. She set a boundary, other lady ignored and crossed it big time. I can't believe OP is against his wife here
The update about them meeting.. he says "the clock is ticking on that" shows he doesnt want to be a dad to her kids. he wants her to have his. i don't think that would change if they started dating. he will always see them as someone elses. lady, stay far far away from him.
The whole story made my skin crawl, but especially when he said “the clock is ticking.” Just shows he hasn’t changed one bit in the last 15 years. It’s still all about him and what he wants. He could focus on being a good partner to Lila and a good step-parent/parental figure to her kids. He doesn’t want that. He wants her to have HIS kids, and soon apparently. Never mind the fact that they literally just met up after not speaking for 15 years, he wants her to have his kids asap. He is incredibly selfish and delusional. I hope Lila sees that and cuts ties with him.
As a mother myself if someone did that to me and my child I would had 100% done the same thing. The husband is living in a fantasy world if he is just so willing to let strangers touch his wife and grab his children. As for the daughter seeing someone getting punched in the face, she will be fine. I think he is saying “my daughter will be traumatized” to try and have some kind of argument that his wife is in the wrong.
His daughter just witnessed what is most likely to be her role model defending herself against an invasive person. This could be good for her down the line
That's like yelling to the moss for growing, he take a beef with animals that dont even think about them , kind of delusional. I honestly imagine this person just glaring dagger to cats while they bathe themselves
Yeah, and people need to get over this ridiculous idea that a pregnant woman's belly is public property. It's part of a person's body, not a damn petting zoo.
Also, OP seems to think it's impossible for women to be total scumbags like men can be, so a man touching a pregnant lady's belly without permission and trying to pick up a daughter is bad, but when a woman does this very same thing, it's somehow perfectly OK because it's a woman doing it. Yeah, I'm a female and I know that regardless if it's a man or woman, abuse is abuse and consent is consent, it applies to everyone no matter the gender of the abuser or the victim.
Story 1: Never touch a person without consent/permission, I've said that a lot, other people said that a lot, it can cause a bad reflex. And OP didn't side with his pregnant wife? Bruh, she was justified!
I can only imagine the roasting OP got from Reddit for a) not doing anything to help his wife in regards to the pushy lady b) seeing her as the crazy one and c) thinking of not allowing her to go outside. Forget the roast, OP probably got cremated.
Not to mention, seemily sexist, as he seems to have the mindset that women can't be bad to children, only men can be that, so a woman touching a woman's pregnant belly without consent and trying to pick up their daughter isn't bad because it's a woman doing it, not a man. Look, I'm a female and I know women can be just as bad as the scumbag men, this OP seems to think women can't be scumbags at all.
"am i the devil?" last guy sure was, he was 15 years late to apologize for his atrocious behavior, and even while describing his "talk" with lila hes still being creepy, i legit hope he shows her exactly why they broke up again so she can be sure to never date that borderline psychopath
@@myy1008 Because he'd be showing his true colors. You must be exactly like him, because you've trolling around defending him and saying he deserves another chance when it's pretty f-ing clear he doesn't. He doesn't talk about her like she's a person with her own thoughts and feelings, only about much he wants her, how she should be his, how she made him feel back when his life wasn't sh!t, and how much he wants that back. It's very creepy and incel-y and the fact that you think it's okay is very telling about you.
So, her boyfriend beings home a random girl who complains about where she would sleep, then he makes her cook for them at midnight, and then this random girl has the gall to criticize her cooking and requests something else. And she's the bad guy for being cold? Honestly, I'd consider this a wake-up call.
16:00 I felt the same. I've had similar people in my life, and pretty much every one of them will be like, "Oh, you've forgiven me, so I'm free to start crossing boundaries again". I hope OP is different, but I'm not expecting it.
If someone was making me delicious pancakes with fresh blueberries in the middle of the night... the girl would have had to worry about me flirting with her... not the guy xD but ow no... the food has CALORIES! 😱
If my husband brought home another woman while both were drunk then that woman sat there and critiqued the food I made I'd be FURIOUS. It's pancakes, who doesn't want pancakes while drunk? TF is wrong with you?
He totally has some sort of eating disorder, I guess he saw his abs go with every blueberry she added, I mean that's homecooked food she's making for your uninvited ass. I put butter in my pancakes and in the pan and it's delicious. But I'd also never have a woman cook for me in the middle of the night.
@@QuayHollywood Yeah it's called drunk food, whole places stay open late for the drunk people to offer fried foods. But of course this guy wanted a smoothy as if he didn't just drink all the carbs.

Why did the first OP have "reservations" about "letting his wife go out in public while pregnant" if she's never done something like this before? He wants to control his wife but he doesn't want to step in when a complete stranger tries to pick up his child? His wife should have taken their daughter and left him behind in the restaurant.
Story 2, the vitriol is completely unnecessary but he's not wrong about domestic cats being kept indoors. All the experts agree that it is much safer for them, better for the environment, and that they really don't lose anything being kept indoors. ETA: I do exclude farm cats from that as they have a job to do.
Yeah. That's how I lost my cat. We had dangerous wild animals and normally she came back unharmed but that day, she didn't. I wasn't there for it so I couldn't say anything to stop it. I recently got these memories brought back to the front because the neighbor has a cat that looks just like her but it's smaller, probably 1 year old. I know it can't be her.
Don't be taken in by this guy and his "experts". This account is a sock puppet for Hound Toothington, a know agitator for the Eco-Friendly Canine Avian Team Squad, trying to lock up cats so birds and dogs can run the outdoors. EF-CATS is anti-feline and anti-freedom.
I have a friend who would mildly shame me for keeping my cat indoors. He is an Indian immigrant who is very much an animal rights advocate ( only mention his origin as it informs his philosophy towards life). Once i told him that domestic cats are a threat to native bird species he stopped making comments about my indoor cat.
My late Sister always had cats, and strictly indoors. I fon't care for cats, I'm a "dog guy" through and through. But she had one orange tabby that I gelled with. "Football" and I were buddies. I still miss him. 😊
Here’s how I think things will go for the OP in the last story: OP will play the part of a supportive, kind, caring person who loves kids just to impress Lila, so much so that she’ll actually believe it and will be comfortable enough to introduce him to her kids. So they got on an outing to the park and OP just wants to spend it with Lila, but the kids keep being “annoying” and interrupt what he sees as a date. At one point Lila goes to the bathroom and she asks Op to watch the kids for a minute, which he agrees to but internally rolls his eyes. So he just plays on his phone for a couple minutes waiting for Lila to come back when he hears the most annoying noise ever. One of Lila’s kids had tripped and scraped their knee and is running towards op, teary eyed and snotty nosed with her arms outstretched wanting comfort and love. Op does the mature adult thing and PUSHES the child away from him and the starts yelling at the kid to get away from him and to stop crying because they’re just being a stupid baby and it’s not that big of a deal. It is at this moment that Lila returns from the bathroom and sees that OP is still the same person he was all those years ago, who yells at and attacks anyone who mildly inconveniences him. Her child sees her before OP does and runs around him screaming “mommy! That bad man yelled at me!” Which causes OP to turn white as a sheet before slowly turning around to face Lila. He immediately starts trying to explain himself, defend himself he didn’t mean it and even blaming the child, he’ll starts to raise his voice like he did the night they first broke up. And like that night, Lila just packs up her things gets her kids in the car, turns to OP and says “never come near me or my family ever again” before getting in and driving off into the sunset. Op is heartbroken once again at loosing Lila…but it’s quickly replaced by anger as he remembers Lila was his ride and he now doesn’t have a way of getting home. So he throws an adult tantrum and breaks a random car window, which is witnessed by a passing police officer who promptly arrest him. The End
I also understood how he doesn’t like cats being outside unsupervised because they tear up the natural bird populations (which isn’t the cats fault because cats are hunters), or that he wants them on a harness which is an extremely good alternative to them free roaming outside because sometimes it isn’t safe for cats to free roam (cars, petnappers, stray dogs, coyotes etc).. but he just seems like the type to want to harm cats for no reason, other than cats just simply being cats. It’s creepy.
Yeah, he's neurotic, but cat owners do seem to be wholly unaware that animals that can still create babies shouldn't be allowed outside unsupervised. Hundreds of bird species in multiple continents are at risk of extinction because cat owners refuse to keep their animals inside.
My favorite thing in these videos is when rslash realizes that OP is the karen/bad guy in a situation and he immediately changes his voice to a super whiny annoying “woe is me” voice mid sentence
First OP when a stranger is violating his wife's boundaries and picking up his kid without permission: *does nothing* First OP when his wife defends herself and the baby from said stranger: HOW DARE YOU
Story 1: I did not expect the story to go this way. I'm on the wife's side. You do NOT touch another person's kid unless they say you can. Story 2: You're on the list of most evil people on earth. Along with everyone else on that subreddit. Story 3: Funny how he says she's throwing a tantrum when he's acting like a child. Also, correct me if I'm wrong here, but I don't think blueberries contain any sugar. Story 4: This guy sounds like a complete psychopath, and is giving off major incel energy. I won't be surprised if we hear in a few years that this guy has been arrested for being a serial killer.
I was curious and googled it, and yes, blueberries do infact contain sugar. But, they are natural sugars and balanced out by the fiber and antioxidants blueberries also contain.
That pancake story, jfc. You hung out with someone’s boyfriend at a bar, came back to their shared residence drunk, and then made an issue over pancakes and syrup. If her diet was so restrictive she should have just bought her own food or gone without. OP is a major entitled AH.
Fourth story: she wasn't the one that got away, she was the one you ran out. Instead of behaving like a grown adult, you just get drunk and destroy every reason she could've stayed with you over. She's probably never been happier since OP showed who he really was. Also we need to make a checklist of what guys like this say and do when it comes to this sort of thing because they've been saying very similar if not the same stuff. About how everything was perfect, how beautiful/handsome their partner was, they couldn't love anyone else, etc. Different trash can, same trash.
2:16 looks like a joke, but, I've stumbled against a anti pitbull/bully breeds subreddit and you would say ok, maybe its not that bad. Not only is anti pitbull, is extremely racist (bordering in n zi) and xenofibic, amongst another things. So yes, dont go there guys.
Lila dodged a bullet. This guy should just get used to the idea of growing old alone - he'll be much happier when he realises that he's not cut out for relationships.
I’m childfree and do NOT like kids. I can definitely understand the devastation of the one person you love more than anything not being able to be with you because of the #1 dealbreaker in the world. There is simply no compromise when it comes to having kids. So I’d also be pretty upset and maybe even in a bit of denial too, if the person I loved disagreed with me on this one big issue, because whether I’d want to admit it or not, it would ultimately end in a breakup. But the way THIS dude reacted, jeez…😳 He’s not the devil for not wanting children, he’s the devil for straight up ACTING like a child…🙄
Story 3: OP was so worried about whiny kids yet he threw the most toddler-like tantrum lol. Throwing things, arguing, sounds a lot like a child and like OP. I hope Lila is doing well
Story 1: found the original post, and OP was definitely villifying his wife. Some of the responses from him are "We could have reported the woman and had her kicked out. If they didn’t kick her out we would leave. The initial shove was fine, it’s the punch I’m concerned about. I don’t want my daughter to be exposed to violence or think that it’s acceptable to use much greater force in “self defense”" and "By that I just meant that crowded environments are extremely high-stress for her to begin with, and I’m sure being pregnant makes it ten times worse for her. You people are really trying to make me out to be some kind of villain but I’m trying to keep my wife comfortable and my daughter away from violence." Nah mate, your actions and inactions are making you the villain. (Also, OP's account was suspended so who knows what else was being said)
@@thatguy3903of course he is, because daphne is absolutely one of those people who thinks childsnatchers are hiding around every corner waiting to steal or assault your child.
2nd story is true but for all the wrong reasons. Cats shouldn’t be outside and SHOULD be indoors or leashes/harnessed. Not sure why the vitriol, but, he’s right, even though his points are weird! 😂 (I adore cats, don’t worry)
I told my non American friend that, in the states, we can't let our cats outside unattended because of people who THINK this. People who will steal a cat even with a collar, can get stolen or dumped at the pound. He was honestly shocked and disappointed. So shit like "cats shouldn't be outside unless they're on a leash or in a confined space" only enforces that But yeah I agree based on the fact I don't want my kibby stolen :(
@@wouldntyouliketoknowwesath7789 But you would be fine if your kitty gets run over? Or hunted by a dog, coyote, fox, mountain lion, etc.? Humans are far from the only danger that exists in the outside world
@@wouldntyouliketoknowwesath7789 actually, you are just straight up wrong. Keep in mind that a single male non-neutered can impregnate dozens of wild stray females. Because of cat owners ignoring this fact, multiple bird species on every continent are now in danger of extinction.
Story 3 yta 3/5 you went over to a males friends house, wondered why his gf acted cold to you, while you was drunk, in the middle of the night and then proceeded to talk shit about her. Pancakes after your friend talked her into it. You could have politely said due to being intoxicated you were not feeling for pancakes and that you prefer if she didn't make you any. Instead you choose to fester the entire time then be rude enough to ask for something else after she made it.
Story 2: Op's reaction is uncalled for. It's a cat. However, they did get one thing right. Domestic cats should be kept indoors when unsupervised. They are one of the biggest contributors to wild animal populations decreasing. Outdoor/feral cats kill more animals than all the cars on the road in a year. They also are contributing to the extinction of some wild animals species. I love cats, I have one myself, but I also love wildlife.
Domestic cats have also been the cause of many bobcat and wildcat populations having outbreaks of diseases like rhinotraciitis and calcivirus… here in Florida, a lot more rescues and rehabbers are having to try, often in vain, to bring bobcat kits back from the brink of death because of these diseases and if they survive, get them ready to be released back into the wild, because their mothers are already gone and can’t do it themselves… They’re also contributing to the spread of avian influenza, as the disease has jumped the species gap, infected domestic cats, and then those cats go and terrorize people’s chickens.. It’s just all around a bad idea to let an animal you claim to care about fend for itself outside, they are not immune to causing harm just because they’re your sweet little baby couch kitty at home…
Story 2 : cats aren't really native to a lot of places, but they are great predators. They can cause quite a bit of problems for native species if let roaming free. I love cats, I even have a cat, but I absolutely hate when people let their cats free. They kill birds, they kill small mammals, they use kid's play grounds as their litter box.
Ah. The eternal irony of humans calling other animals entitled and stuck up, while sneering down at them and acting like we own the planet, instead of the reality that we share the planet with other animals and organisms.
Pancakes: Butter is literally better for you than those spray soybean oils. If you don't want to eat what is being served, don't eat. You _don't_ get to expect some random host to know all your food preferences or dislikes. Anyone else have a hard time believing this OP is _ever_ gracious?
The gf should just have handed OP some carrots or brocolli to chew on. Or nuts. OP is not entittled to prepped food, especially if they are so judgmental.
Yeah that pancake story...get out of my house? As a woman, going back to your male friend's apartment to HIS GIRLFRIEND after getting drunk, of course she's going to be cold. Brother man was already in trouble at that point. THEN you wait 15 mins after she's cooked to ask for a smoothie. Making it WORSE for her friend. ALL BECAUSE SHE WAS HIDING OUT LIKE A CHILD? Nah that doesn't hold water, OP was hoping to do the no pants dance.
The second story about the anti-cat literally got me rolling. My cat ironically is harness and leash trained. He actually went on a walk with me to the post office to pick up the mail. My kitten is 10.5 weeks old. He's sitting on my chest watching the words go across the screen like it's a toy. When you started barking you had Jet perked up and looking for the dog. I had to replay it a few times just for his reaction. 😂🤣 Thank you rslash for the laughs. That was amazing. 😂😂
Story 2: I think his rant was satire. No one can be that stupid. Besides, I kind of agree with parts of his rant. For example, unless they're already feral, cats should stay inside, unless they're on a leash or in a catio. I have had cats my entire life, they're my favorite pet to own, and I have two brother cats right now who I treat like my children. I never want them outside, anything could happen; cars hitting them, predators(we live literally in between a forest and a very busy road), evil people, ticks, fleas, other parasites, or simply get lost. It breaks my heart when I see "Lost Cat/Lost Dog" posters because I couldn't imagine the pain the owners must feel.
@rSlash, I’m a dog person. I openly admit that. My fiancée and I have two gorgeous, very well behaved pit bulls. Even I don’t hate cats. While we don’t have any cats, I don’t hate cats and I’m always very friendly to cats and when they come up for pettings, I gladly pet them show them love. I have absolutely no idea how someone could hate cats this much. Now, it’s okay to not like certain animals, but the level of disrespect for cats means that their disrespect doesn’t end at cats, it’s where it begins.
Rslash saying he thought the punching was gonna be the worst part of the first story while I'm here thinking the woman who doesn't understand boundaries is gonna be the worst part of the first story
Subtle detail, OP keeps saying he wants to gain Laila's trust, be in her life again, and be with her. Never once does he mention any sort of desire to gain her kids' trust, spend time with them, or be in their lives. In fact, the only time he even mentions Laila's kids is when he expresses resentment that they aren't his own kids. This man is a walking red flag who has proven himself capable of changing his mind very drastically in an instance. I guarantee that if she lets this man into her life, he'll be abusive to her, and more severely to her kids. He'll play and evil stepdad role to them.
A complete stranger touched your wife's belly and literally picked up your daughter. Were you going to wait till your daughter was put into a waiting car, or were you going to act before then? Your wife did what you failed to do, and that is to protect the family. Also, what's all this crap about not letting her go out in public while she's pregnant?! OP, you need your head examined.
Story 2: or maybe GF was pissed because a stranger was in her house with no notice, probably wasn’t left alone until she agreed to make her BF and his guest some food. Then after cooking in the middle of the night, was asked to make more because OP waited until after she was done cooking to let her know they didn’t like pancakes. Then got mad at her BF had the audacity to try and lecture her about it. Perhaps that was the issue with her less than pleasant attitude. OP act like she was hosting them when she wasn’t, and for someone who brags about being raised to be a well mannered guest they’re not very good at it. Because a good guy doesn’t sit there and watch this probably entire person make them free food, give them notes. Then when served they can go into their kitchen to make themselves something else to eat.
First story) I was on the wife's side the moment the ither woman touched her without permission and against her will. But you add in touching, let alone attempting to pick up a kid that you don't have permission to! That strange woman got her comeuppance.
3:00 I love cat but yes they should only be inside they are extremely intelligent and hunt native animals it’s also dangerous for them to be outside. Also even if your cat doesn’t hunt there smell and presence will scare off most wildlife
No wonder the dude couldn't keep one relationship for longer than weeks for over a decade. "She didn't agree with me, so I trashed my apartment". It's a miracle Lila put up with him for two years.
Also in the comment section of that post, he was arguing that he should get the bed because he was the guest. HE WANTED THIS GIRL TO SLEEP ON THE COUCH. IN HER OWN APARTMENT.

I literally went and asked my mum "hey, if you went out to a restaurant with me and dad when you were pregnant with my younger brother and some strange lady came and touched your belly after you said no then tried to pick me up, what would you do?" and she immediately said "probably thump her", and I don't doubt many, MANY mothers would have the same response - the most troubling thing I think is the fact that the OP talks about "letting" his wife go out in public, like... ex-fucking-scuse me, she's an adult woman and she doesn't need you to LET her go anywhere
Haha, pancake guy doesn't care about his health or sugar intake, if he was drinking all night. One meal, made by someone unwilling in the middle of the night (the two dudes could have made their own food) isn't going to harm the dude, or he could just say he wasn't hungry.
Story 2: cats SHOULD be kept inside, if possible. No I don't mean feral cats, barn cats, etc. They have a reason they're outside. Housecats have been at least partially responsible for the extinction of multiple bird species, and they're such effective hunters they devastate local bird and lizard populations. A lot of the time they don't even eat their kills. Now, I'm a cat lover, I have 2. But they stay inside, where I can keep them safe and away from small prey animals. That said, OP is insane
PANCAKES Mix 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of milk, 2 eggs, and a pinch of salt. Heat a oiled medium-size frying pan and add 1 ladle full of batter, spread to edges of frying pan so it's think ( like a crepe). Flip and cook other side. Place a sheet of al-foil on the counter an sprinkle some sugar over it. Place of pancake, squeeze lemon juice over it, an some sugar, Fold two opposite sides to the centre (or just roll up), serve and eat. Delicious! You're welcome. BTW, I'm not a recipe spammer. I'm just a long-time /rSlash subscriber who was so appalled by that pancake recipe I felt I had to post my mum's recipe to retore the balance.
I'm sorry to say but that recipe sounds bland. And the pancakes are certainly not going to be fluffy. The old Joy of Cooking' recipe for buttermilk pancakes is my go-to. Since pancakes aren't a typical breakfast, when I make them I'm going to make them as delicious as possible. 1 1/2 cups of flour 3 tbsp of sugar (brown & white combo) 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp of baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 1/2 cups of buttermilk 2 eggs 3 tbsp of butter melted and cooled (Optional: 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla) Mix dry and wet ingredients separately then combine and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes Lightly butter pan, depending on the size of pancakes you want pour 1/8 of a cup to 1/3 of a cup of batter on heated pan, when you see bubbles then flip to the other side until both sides are an even golden brown The first pancake will almost always be weird looking, but is perfectly edible You should get 4 servings of super fluffy delicious pancakes. (If you use regular milk, omit baking soda and use 1 1/2 tsps of baking powder)
@@minakat369, nah, it's great. It was a staple when I was growing up and I recently lost my mum so it brings back childhood memories. They're not as fluffy as the smaller, thicker style; as I said, they're more like crepes, which I prefer because I don't like thick ones (or buttermilk). But it's the fresh lemon juice and sugar make it work. Trust me. :)
I'm curious how Pancake Girl thinks pancakes are made? Skip everything else in that story. If you don't put butter in your pan, you're not getting pancakes. You're going to get shredded, burned, stuck on batter. The sugar in the batter is one thing, but complaining about butter in the pan?
Story 1: Wife was fully within her rights. Touching someone without permission is assault, ESPECIALLY when pregnant, and then that woman has the audacity to try to PICK UP A STRANGER'S CHILD. OP needs to grow a spine his wife shouldn't have to. Story 2: Cats are a lesson in consent, which is why narcissistic people like him shouldn't be allowed around them. Story 3: Why don't you just spit in her face? It would accomplish the same result with not nearly as much effort. Story 4: You made your wishes clear, she did the same. She decided leaving without making a problem out of it was the best course and you had a tantrum and blew it for yourself. S4 update: You're lucky she's even talking to you, dude.

I’m like 99% sure it’s just a diet thing for OP lol

I wouldn't blame him, everyone has a right to dream... Unless she would actually be married/dating someone and he tried to pursue her anyway

Why are people so stupid
Technically, she only asked if she could touch the wife. She never asked about picking up the daughter. She just tried picking her up without permission.
In case this comment isn't rhetorical, it's because people are so individualistic. So many folks old and young haven't had consequences because people try to keep the peace, when it finally happens it feels unfair to them.
Exactly, I wonder this all the time. 🤔🤔🤔
Not necessarily stupidity. Could be dementia, alzheimers or similar psychologic illnesses
Depends on what you put in the smoothie.

But OP didn't care what Lila wanted and that she shouldn't have to give up her dreams for him.

also that's a straight lie, beer, like mostly everything, does contain some amount of sugar, and so does fruit for her precious smoothie, but between binge drinking on a Tuesday and eating a pancake one is going to kill you faster, a supposed health nut would know that
OP in the last story has major anger issues and he seems so possessive as well. He wants everything to be his way and is thinking that his ex girlfriend should think his way. The more I write the more I feel she shouldn’t get back with him. He is so angry that she got away.

What kind of a psycho hates cats who are sitting there minding their own business... "I hate cats but they have the nerve to hate me back, entitled"
That's like yelling to the moss for growing, he take a beef with animals that dont even think about them , kind of delusional.
I honestly imagine this person just glaring dagger to cats while they bathe themselves
1st story mom bear cam out. She said no to touch her belly, then trying to pick up her daughter with out permission.
Nope moms in the right
Yeah, and people need to get over this ridiculous idea that a pregnant woman's belly is public property.
12:32. Notice how OP called this meet up a “date” cringe
ikr she had a husband and has kids. It's not a date, and she definitely doesn't see it as a date.
Yeah the whole story was cringe. I looked at my partner and just said man this is uncomfortable lol.
I can only imagine the roasting OP got from Reddit for a) not doing anything to help his wife in regards to the pushy lady b) seeing her as the crazy one and c) thinking of not allowing her to go outside. Forget the roast, OP probably got cremated.
OP doesn't need burn cream after the continued roasting he got there and here - bro needs an urn
"am i the devil?"
last guy sure was, he was 15 years late to apologize for his atrocious behavior, and even while describing his "talk" with lila hes still being creepy, i legit hope he shows her exactly why they broke up again so she can be sure to never date that borderline psychopath
why would you hope that?
Story 4: That guy is a restraining order waiting to happen. I hope he doesn't kill her, because that's a stalker's origin if I ever heard one.
I think Yugo wrote that 'I hate cat' post
take my angry like
If someone was making me delicious pancakes with fresh blueberries in the middle of the night... the girl would have had to worry about me flirting with her... not the guy xD but ow no... the food has CALORIES!
I prefer cheese burgers after drinking. That's also cause I actually just don't like pancakes. I prefer waffles.
@@QuayHollywood Yeah it's called drunk food, whole places stay open late for the drunk people to offer fried foods. But of course this guy wanted a smoothy as if he didn't just drink all the carbs.

@@hollytheanimalcrossingfan Well from what I hear they are open all the time even in natural disasters. But you have shuarma places that are just open late for the drinkers.
1. Daughter recognizes risks in public, dad ignores.
2. Wife protects her family, dad gets mad.
3. Dad is a problem.
Why did the first OP have "reservations" about "letting his wife go out in public while pregnant" if she's never done something like this before? He wants to control his wife but he doesn't want to step in when a complete stranger tries to pick up his child? His wife should have taken their daughter and left him behind in the restaurant.
I’m taking the pregnant woman’s side today .
Wow. You can be a decent thing. I'll give you 5 nanoseconds before you are back to yourself
Story 3: bro this op cannot be real. Sugar is not going to kill you. Butter is not going to kill you. There’s probably more cake in your shitty beer 💀
6:19 "YOU'RE TEARING ME APART LISA!" lol
"was this post written by a dog"
i doubt it. dogs are sweeties.
Not if it's a chihuahua. They're little demons.
True, but yeah. Having such visceral disdain for an ANIMAL is just the corniest thing ever. Like it's so lame.
The End
😍 A happily ever after
This is now canon to me 😂
Id understand the anti cats guy if he had a phobia of cats but he just seems to have a completely random grudge against them
I also understood how he doesn’t like cats being outside unsupervised because they tear up the natural bird populations (which isn’t the cats fault because cats are hunters), or that he wants them on a harness which is an extremely good alternative to them free roaming outside because sometimes it isn’t safe for cats to free roam (cars, petnappers, stray dogs, coyotes etc).. but he just seems like the type to want to harm cats for no reason, other than cats just simply being cats.
First OP when a stranger is violating his wife's boundaries and picking up his kid without permission: *does nothing*
First OP when his wife defends herself and the baby from said stranger: HOW DARE YOU
Story 1: I did not expect the story to go this way.
But, they are natural sugars and balanced out by the fiber and antioxidants blueberries also contain.
pretty much everything has some amount of sugar in it even beer
Last story: OP had the correct idea of not wanting a kid... a Toddler shouldn't get kids. Love how he described kids lives and it just fit him 100%
That pancake story, jfc. You hung out with someone’s boyfriend at a bar, came back to their shared residence drunk, and then made an issue over pancakes and syrup. If her diet was so restrictive she should have just bought her own food or gone without. OP is a major entitled AH.
Story 1 yta that was necessary. This guy needs some clarification.
Oh nah, the wife's response in the first story is perfect 🤷🏽♀️
Oddly enough acting like the very thing he dislikes so much ironic
“You might not want that anymore, but I still do. We want different things in life, and that’s okay.” Get it girl 🙌🏼
(Also, OP's account was suspended so who knows what else was being said)
1st story: So if a guy had done this then OP would totally be okay then.
Dude listen to the story, he's on the wife's side
@@thatguy3903 I think they're talking about would OP be okay if it was a guy doing it

2nd story is true but for all the wrong reasons. Cats shouldn’t be outside and SHOULD be indoors or leashes/harnessed. Not sure why the vitriol, but, he’s right, even though his points are weird! 😂 (I adore cats, don’t worry)
The fact that the poster knew words like "Catio" makes me think it was bait, tbh.
I told my non American friend that, in the states, we can't let our cats outside unattended because of people who THINK this. People who will steal a cat even with a collar, can get stolen or dumped at the pound. He was honestly shocked and disappointed.
So shit like "cats shouldn't be outside unless they're on a leash or in a confined space" only enforces that
But yeah I agree based on the fact I don't want my kibby stolen :(
@@wouldntyouliketoknowwesath7789 But you would be fine if your kitty gets run over? Or hunted by a dog, coyote, fox, mountain lion, etc.?
Humans are far from the only danger that exists in the outside world
@@wouldntyouliketoknowwesath7789 actually, you are just straight up wrong.
Keep in mind that a single male non-neutered can impregnate dozens of wild stray females.
Because of cat owners ignoring this fact, multiple bird species on every continent are now in danger of extinction.
@@wouldntyouliketoknowwesath7789 Cats are awful for the environment. I’m not worried about stealing I’m worried about the damage they do.
Domestic cats have also been the cause of many bobcat and wildcat populations having outbreaks of diseases like rhinotraciitis and calcivirus… here in Florida, a lot more rescues and rehabbers are having to try, often in vain, to bring bobcat kits back from the brink of death because of these diseases and if they survive, get them ready to be released back into the wild, because their mothers are already gone and can’t do it themselves…
They’re also contributing to the spread of avian influenza, as the disease has jumped the species gap, infected domestic cats, and then those cats go and terrorize people’s chickens..
It’s just all around a bad idea to let an animal you claim to care about fend for itself outside, they are not immune to causing harm just because they’re your sweet little baby couch kitty at home…
The cats story- “when they hiss when you walk past.” Maybe because they can sense that you’re an actual demon?
Story 2 : cats aren't really native to a lot of places, but they are great predators.
They can cause quite a bit of problems for native species if let roaming free.
I love cats, I even have a cat, but I absolutely hate when people let their cats free. They kill birds, they kill small mammals, they use kid's play grounds as their litter box.
Story 1: Dude. Your wife was defending herself and your daughter against unwanted physical contact. WHAT. IS. WRONG. WITH. YOU.
Ah. The eternal irony of humans calling other animals entitled and stuck up, while sneering down at them and acting like we own the planet, instead of the reality that we share the planet with other animals and organisms.
Story 2) people who VEHEMENTLY hate cats are like the biggest red flags. An anti-cat subreddit must be full of them but that guy is insane
2:38 - OP, let's go into a room for ten minutes. You need a lesson in whoopass....
The word “catio” will never not be funny to me.
Story 2: Man, you'd think a cat stole that guy's wife. Why is he so upset about cats minding their own business?
Louder for the people in the back, please
I hate domestic animals being released to roam the wild unsupervised. I don't hate the animal because the animal doesn't know better
@@bluebirbas pigeons make me so sad 😭

No wonder the dude couldn't keep one relationship for longer than weeks for over a decade. "She didn't agree with me, so I trashed my apartment". It's a miracle Lila put up with him for two years.
Story 2. I'm personally a dog owner but what's wrong with people just hating on cats ? Get a Hobby??

PANCAKES
Mix 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of milk, 2 eggs, and a pinch of salt.
Heat a oiled medium-size frying pan and add 1 ladle full of batter, spread to edges of frying pan so it's think ( like a crepe). Flip and cook other side.
Place a sheet of al-foil on the counter an sprinkle some sugar over it. Place of pancake, squeeze lemon juice over it, an some sugar,
Fold two opposite sides to the centre (or just roll up), serve and eat. Delicious!
You're welcome.
BTW, I'm not a recipe spammer. I'm just a long-time /rSlash subscriber who was so appalled by that pancake recipe I felt I had to post my mum's recipe to retore the balance.
I screen shotted it, thanks. Ill try it this weekend. 😄
1 1/2 cups of flour
3 tbsp of sugar (brown & white combo)
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp of baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups of buttermilk
2 eggs
3 tbsp of butter melted and cooled
(Optional: 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla)
Mix dry and wet ingredients separately then combine and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes
Lightly butter pan, depending on the size of pancakes you want pour 1/8 of a cup to 1/3 of a cup of batter on heated pan, when you see bubbles then flip to the other side until both sides are an even golden brown
The first pancake will almost always be weird looking, but is perfectly edible
You should get 4 servings of super fluffy delicious pancakes.
Trust me. :)
@@threecards333, I hope you enjoy it. If you do, say a thank you to my mum, Pam. :)
I'm curious how Pancake Girl thinks pancakes are made? Skip everything else in that story. If you don't put butter in your pan, you're not getting pancakes. You're going to get shredded, burned, stuck on batter. The sugar in the batter is one thing, but complaining about butter in the pan?
I love cats but I also think cats belong indoors, on harnesses, or in catios. So like… partially on OP’s side there.
Story 1: Wife was fully within her rights. Touching someone without permission is assault, ESPECIALLY when pregnant, and then that woman has the audacity to try to PICK UP A STRANGER'S CHILD. OP needs to grow a spine his wife shouldn't have to.
