People are just nosey and often not the brightest. Common sense would tell them that you don't have a camera following you 24/7. Also, they may be referring to you doing things solo. I do a lot of stuff solo too because I enjoy my own company and sometimes don't feel like having to follow the whims of other people. Do you and don't worry about the haters.
You don't care for the Big G search engine which basically runs the internet, because people can search for you. But I'm sure you love them when YOU need to search stuff. It's like people hating cops. They sure do love 'em & they can't get there quick enough when they need 'em !!!
