- Reciprocasting Saw Restoration Video
This is old project that I done last year, the video length is too long, viewers take time and get boring to understand this project. So I reedit it to save viewers time and understand it easily.
I hope you find something useful & enjoy this video!
I am happy to receive your feedbacks, advices, suggestions to improve myself.
!!! I apologize for the mistake if I have made in this restoration !!!
**I still keep some parts, I want to save the world's environment**

I am amazed. Okay, I would disassemble and wash, but I would never put it back or put it back together and I would have a lot of extra spare parts))) Great job)) Respect from Russia)
Dang Makita is a brand that can be trusted ,Good restoration.👍
Always a great show, thanks for sharing.
Отличная работа, молодец!!!
Great restoration 👍. Every thing look old but armature look brand new.
Just today I bought this very model. I tried several models in the shop and this one felt very solid and powerful, I liked it. It seems I made a right choise. :-) And, man, you did the impressive job on repairing this one! My respect.
Very nice restoration! Great results. Thanks for the vid!
Es un placer ver la forma como arreglar las herramientas de trabajo tanto inalambricas como con cableado.
Master of restoration. Good job. 10x for sharing.
The work deserves an excellent mark. It can be seen that the master knows this his work.
Of course, it could have been a little better cleaned from rust and traces of time, but only for aesthetics. Everything that is needed for the device to work has been done.
My respect.
thank you, you helped me a lot when disassembling the tip of the blade! thanks
СПАСИБО ЗА ВИДЕО!!!
Hi Gear Show 👋👋👋 good to see you 🤝🤝🤝 disassembly and assembly of the tool at the highest level👌🏽 awesome restoration 👍👍👍 so keep it ✌🏻🇷🇺
Hi Кошмар Кошмар 👋👋👋nice to see you again 🤝🤝🤝thank you so much 😊😊😊
You have done good job sir
I am 15 years old and I also like this restoration work . I have all tools that you have please make these type of videos and guide me
Thank you
You're welcome, I'm so happy to hear that :D
Круто ,это лучшая сетевая сабельная пила.👍
My favorite channel. Thanks for the video
So investing in Makita 👑 is the best at this time 👍
You did a great job on that saw!
I've had the same one in my garage for a while, it only worked half the time. You made me want to take care of it, and after removing only five screws I could understand that the problem was just the switch.. So I think not to stop there and finish its restoration ^^
at 5:30 it shows the amazing number of parts that must have taken hours for each one , each piece to be made originally
This is the moment I'm always waiting for the most! Apart from the final effect of course :)
Magnificent job I really liked it
Always on top..👍
Pěkný košile. ☺ a zase skvělá práce.
Good job 👍
Thank you! Cheers!

What a video.I loved it.Thoroughly professional.Keep it up.
Thank you so much!
I wanted to thank you for this informative and well edited video. I bought a second hand JR3070 And it was in better condition than this one but far from its prime and your video helped me improve things a bit. I'm not exactly a handyman and not very skilled , but you're video was so easy to follow , with little room for doubt. I enjoyed how you filmed the same process from different angles , it really makes a difference. And , like they say " sharing is caring " and it's even more relevant with teaching skills ...
I'm glad this video helped you. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
@@gear_show trying to further do further maintenance on my saw , I'm stuck at the 2:39 part where you use magnet to disassemble it ... the gear seems stuck and no magnet I own seem to be strong enough . You seem to be able to remove it with ease. What am I missing ? thank you in advance for any answer ! :)
Excellent work on an excellent saw

Respekt!!!!!👍👍👍
It’s amazing that Makita still sells parts for it!!
Well, this model is still being produced today and continues to be Makita's top of the range heavy-duty reciprocating saw. It is an impressive power tool.
Excellent working

I think you restored the same machine before really ? 🙏
How do you get to remember where all the nuts, screws, bolts etc are meant to be? Amazing!!
It Is Like A Old Jigsaw
exelente
I love ur video so much brother, nice work 😘
Thank you so much Kim Meily 😘
Gear Show keep it up 👍😘
Waw❤️🌹
Internally it's in quite reasonable condition & it's a decently made device. Look for a basic parts washer, it really helps.
Hi! I really enjoy your videos, but I always wonder what did you paint on the plastic cover? wax or lacquer varnish? Thanks
#2
Thank you!
Okay..good
I thought it looked familiar!!🙂

Wow
I really like your work. But I have a request , since I have seen you restore quite a few Bench Grinders, would you please do a Video on installing variable Speed Controller & a DPDT switch for forward and reverse on a Bench Grinder, Please?
Excellent video thank you very much, in the end why didn't it work? I have the same machine and the same thing happens to it, when you connect and hit the trigger it doesn't do anything, thank you very much
Сложно, сложнааа!!! )
omedetou gozaimasu !
5:25 Жёстко... Хардкор.
Great Job! I have one question: What do you spray the carcass with once you done washing it? Also what kind of soap do you use for washing the plastic parts?
Thanks!
Plastics and rubber can be revived and preserved using Silicon Oil / Lubricant. This is the spray that was likely used in this video. You can use warm water with dish washing or car washing liquid to clean most plastic parts. Degreasers can be too aggressive for some plastics.
hadir bang☺☺☺☺
👍👍😎🍺🍕🔧🔨
👏👏👏👍
👍
will a reciprocating saw tell me it loves me back? :'(
It will answer after you use it.
Hug it when it is on,you'll now.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
👍👌👍
How do you get a saw into that state? I have the same one, it hasn’t been out there that long I believe...? Also a very tough tool. Respect for fixing it, 👍
this guy live in japan, near Tohoku region which is was hit by the earthquake plus tsunami on March 2011, that is way lots of the tools on this channel before restoration looks like already submerged in water for some time,,,, and i believe he got the tool from recycling shop,,
Good hit🇮🇳👍👍 Kuki
Деталей больше чем я думал но здесь есть функция подкачки и противовес как на лобзике . Апарат зверь я бы такой купил однозначно . Только не понял блок плавного пуска есть а включается сразу на полных оборотах .
Продается. От 14 тыс в РФ
It's actually an impressive job to be honest.
But you didn't replace the broken bolt.
Please clean the Parts mit Petroleum. I like your work, I really enjoy watching your videos.
Do you use "Lithium" grease or "silicone" grease?
Very complicated tool!
💪👍💪👍💪👍💪👍💪👍💪👍💪👍
Where are you finding all those oem parts? I’m trying to find a gear to restore a makita hammer drill. It’s out of stock everywhere.
I order from Makita store in my city.
