- As all of you know, Hannes and I live in the countryside of Sweden where do all the labour around the house. Because of this we have quite a big garage, but not the tidiest one. We were in for quite a surprise as Elfa took it upon themselves to clean the mess and do something special with it. Check it out!

So in 6 - 8 weeks, you:
- Went to Finland to start rehearsals with NW.
- Had Gall Bladder surgery.
- Came home, filmed this with Elfa.
- Recorded & released the Eurovision cover song with Beste Zangers.
- Recovered while being Mum to a
4 yo daughter & be with your partner.
- Went back to Finland & performed a Virtual live show. (And obviously had perfect vocal chords in peak shape!)
All while in a pandemic!
You are simply awesome!

list it like that and yes it is very impressive given when she told us all about her operation you could still see her glands swollen up on 1 side of her face, no this is one very very special lady Hannes too -- I remarked on a video of his when he met a young drummer fan, that kid was the center of his attention throughout and is very obvious the same with his family -- something very natural to him floor is one lucky lady -- well they are both lucky and deserve all the best and nice things in the world
Only Floor could make me want to watch a 20 min promotion for storage solutions. Good call Elfa ;)

I love how their child actually looks like a child. Like some celebrities make little fashion models out of their children and Freja just looks like a normal happy kid that plays outside a lot. They look so happy in general, its amazing :D
It’s because Hannes and Floor also dress like normal people. Apart from the occasional “band or skateboarding tshirt” they don’t use designer clothing. 🤘
They look very normal and balanced, both as a couple and individually. They come off as very humble and focused on excellence in their craft.
Which is so amazing compared to the trumped up public persona's of some of the people in the music industry. Neither of them need that, they don't need to make a statement off the stage because they make their statements on the stage where it matters.
I love Floor and Hannes because they are normal human beings. Not blinded by the crap we see with other celebrities.
They are genuine and humble.
And unlike other celebrities, they both have immense real talent!
They are a very special family, truly.

She has so much in common with Tuomas and her band mates. They live and breathe their gifts of music. It is really no wonder that they have so much chemistry and Nightwish is more like a family than a band.

I have to say Elfa chose the perfect family to promote Elfa International. Well Played Elfa.
I was thinking the same. This commercial is one of the most genial marketing tricks I’ve ever seen. And of course I feel more inclined to solve the storage problems with their solutions now! 🙂

It's an absolute joy to see that in this day and age of parents being absent more and more in their children's lives that the two of you even with the crazy careers you have are parents first and foremost and the way Hannes' face lit up when he saw Freja's desk in the garage was wonderful. Me too, but not only the TV... it were my whole household-furnitures, which flew out of the windows and FOUR "fat" tvs :) . 7 metres down/deep ! Rock-drummer de luxe :):):)
Years ago I went to a a charity event where you could throw old items out of the 5th floor of an office building. A bunch of old "fat" tv's along with printers, CRT monitors, desks, etc. were chucked out. The TV's and monitors all exploded quite gloriously.

This is the first time i hear you and Hannes talk Swedish, and it surprised me as a Dutch speaking woman how many words i actually understood. Also, that garage is as big as my whole appartement all together :O but it looks so cool!

I'm always amazed when I hear Floor speak Swedish perfectly.. it's a hard language to learn, even harder to make it sound like it's your native language. It's impressive!
As I understand it, the Scandinavian languages are pretty easy to learn for the Dutch (and vice versa), but having a gift for languages does help.
Never i watched a commercial with such a passion ... 🤪🥰🤘. It was great how you let Freja take part in this shoot... and protected her at the same time... great camera and editing work. Growing up in such a place and with such parents will hopefully shape her and make her into a person who is as close to nature and down to earth as her parents. OK, depending on how far out you live, she might hate it as a teenager. 🤪

I love the fact that these big rockstars are down to earth, not the dicks we have in the U.S. Freja's face kept out of it.. kudos! That's great parenting!

I have to admit, I'm so confused with living on the countryside. Quick pick up of groceries? Drive to school every day? Definitely makes sense with the music production. Hahah. I guess I'm just too much city!
2:05 It is so funny, 'You know what?' in Swedish sounds like "wete wat?" in Dutch. And got an instant flashback to my childhood, Bootsman, Stina, Pelle, Malin and Tjorven, the children of Saltkrokan. A TV series based on the books of Astrid Lindgren. "Pelle wete wa" was an iconic sentence in that series. So funny, good times... Oh man, I'm old.... 😟😟

I just love that, love seeing you and your family so happy. You got your own Walden there at Van Dahl ranch. I am truly happy for you guys, you and Hannes have such a nice place to retreat from your Rockstar lives to be with your little one. To see you or any of your brothers smiling just warms my heart, because you brighten our days, we love you being happy. @@deniselisboa1 I'm Swedish and I think Floor speaks great flawless Swedish, but you can hear her accent which almost sounds a bit Danish or like they speak further down south in Sweden. Her accent doesn't really sound like they speak in Dalarna where they live..
@@MissSylvia67 Im from Norway, and some of the words she said. She almost pronounced it norwegian. Like leke instead of leka (leke is the norwegian saying for it). :D I was in awe of how well she spoke Swedish :D

Wembly... insane! I remember when I saw Sabaton live for the first time in 2006. In a small place called Trädgårn in Borås, Sweden. You wouldn't believe how small that place was. There they played on a VERY small scene and I was sold! And since then I've been following them loving everything they've done!
As a swede it's loverly to hear all the Swedish! Also, Hannes seems like a lovely guy to be around :D

So happy for you! You trully deserve the best life. And I keep telling myself how your Swedish is fantastic and I can't get enough of it. I've never really heard a Dutch person speak Swedish and so it's super interesting with the Dutch accent, with some words it comes through extra strong but no trouble understanding it. What's really impressive is how good you are with the casual grammar and slang words :)

Yes! Finally we get to hear you speak swedish! I have been longing for that! And by the way it sounds really good. Good to see you and your family well and enjoying each other.
It is so truly beautiful the place they decided to live and have their family. They can do the things they enjoy the most and have the peace they need especially considering how Floor has talked a lot about how much she needs a quiet place to be. It's truly beautiful that you two found each other, it is obvious that there is love and you respect each other and these two things are important. I love how they made the garage and the little Freja corner so you can all enjoy your time together. You are blessed in a way to be able to live away from the noise when the job is done and being able to reconnect with the nature and do the things that you love.

Very nice program(elfa), with a good interview with Hannes talking about Sabaton, and a little bit playing the drums(could be longer, and later with Floor talking about Nightwish, pleasant to hear Floor talking Swedish(very melodious). At the end this garage is a meeting point for the whole family, also a playing spot for Freja and the dog(that warmed my heart)

I'm still so surprised at your Swedish, Floor. Most people don't master a language that well after learning it at a later age. And yes, starting to learn another language at 15 is already considered late. Would you say your vocal control has helped you find the right pronunciations more easily than non-singers would? I don't know if there's been research into this subject, but investigating a possible relation between professional vocal control and language acquisition seems very interesting.
You might find this interesting: There are actual researches that point towards any mucisian being able to pick up languages more easily. Apparently there is overlap between the areas of you brain that you use to play an instrument and the areas that you use to learn a language. Don't know about singing in specific though.
Hannes employs the same garage organizational system as I do. The “before” not the “after” unfortunately.

I am building some new outdoor raised planters. However, after watching this I think my garage could use lots of attention as well. I always love “behind the scenes” type of shows and shot, and I’ve been a metal head since 1984. Floor has been a revelation for me, and this spot does not disappoint on so many levels.
I really appreciate that you’re being really careful with Freja and not giving her too much exposure. We can see how much she is adored and rightly so!
