  • Hello!
Here's fourth and probably last? episode of my homemade custom PC laptop style case.
    SPEAKER TEST!!!
2x 12w 8 ohm old crt TV speakers,
    magnetically shielded
    PAM8610 stereo amplifier
Sound quality would be much better if i designed proper speaker enclosures but it was meant as a proof of concept prototype. More shielding inside would help too.
But, for what it is, it plays at least decent - and loud enough.
Too loud honestly for me, but hey! volume control!
I hope you enjoyed watching my video, and if you did, like and subscribe.
If you did not, please let me know why so i can improve and do better next time!
Also, feel free to tell me what you would like to see next.
    Video was edited in OpenShot.
    Music:
Pure sound of Creativeness by Alephonya
    and
2 clips from audio library seen and heard on screen

I really like your setup and your configuration you're doing exactly what I did a while back except with my old PS1 I used a box a cardboard box except for that but you're doing a pretty good damn job I must say again though there's a whole lot of things that you could do to save space I would watch Linus tech tips videos about super small form factor cases and let that give you some ideas for how to mount stuff and put stuff to maximize your internal volume with just a little bit of extra work and some tweaking here and there you could straight up fit a portable power bank in the back and be able to have a portable desktop setup it is what I have been thinking about and working over in my head for years literally years I'm sure that I'm kind of a nobody and why should you listen to me but I've been thinking about this for a long time I would check out a few videos pertaining to console killer like PCS as they have a similar form factor to this but use their space much better you're doing a great job with the mounting systems for everything though I'll give you that! Although I must give you a warning you should probably put some feet or something or spacers on the bottom of it so that the vents on the computer can breathe and you should probably upgrade the cooler for your processor that's something you should invest into and take a good look into I would say you should probably check out Linus tech tips videos about heatsink versus fans it'll help you cool off your stuff a whole lot better although it will make it slightly louder you will get better performance

Thanks for the input, i actually made a newer version of this project that is smaller and far more portable and has built-in battery, too, i just need to put the vid together. This prototype is crude cause i worked with what i had laying around and on a budget, and my skills were more limited back then! I hope to release a little video about newer version soon. New version uses similar gpu, cpu from this one, ITX mobo and special sff DC-DC psu, and has far more vents, and is, as you pointed, raised for better airflow. I plan to upgrade it cause i got some ideas on the way, especially power delivery and batteries, it has a battery now, but it leaves a room for an improvement. You can actually see a little of it in my typing video: ruclips.net/video/NtTijxHPtOM/видео.html but there will be more when i get to a dedicated video about it.

It’s more like 1.2 watts not 12 watts
