Thanks for the shout-out! I totally agree w/you about the link play. There is supposed to be an update deployed tomorrow on “launch day.” If link play isn’t an automatic option (once updated tomorrow) there definitely needs to be a website or some direction on how to properly connect cabs. I bought a second cab which showed up yesterday so I could test this feature, so we will see…
Looks like a big dead zone at neutral steering spot. You’re slightly moving the wheel but it’s unresponsive. Looks shaky too and you were being gentle. And what happened to rumble? To link you’re going to need a usb adapter to Ethernwt , run it to your router , do it to all your cabs , and hoping some option appears when the systems are on the same network. Oh and hope you have available ports in your router for all the cabs. But what I don’t understand is why it can’t do that on Wifi. 1up hides the truth again. So sad. Deceives people. Great review.
The steering is Very noticeable on the first turn when I’m playing drift. I’d like to assume for linked, if a router is needed, I can use an offline router.
If you need to go purchase anything extra, that is pathetic. Arcade1up should include everything needed to link these cabinets. Arcade1up just can't seem to get their head out of their ass.
Great and honest review man! Yeah I would like to incorporate that 4 speed shifter on my Ridge Racer cabinet. I can probably just get an NFL blitz joystick and make my own shift plate. Since that is what they used on the F&F cabinet.
So I heard everyone saying no keypad you need keypad to save I never played I see the keypad on screen so does that work the way it should and although shifter looks awesome sounds like might not be great breakdown very informative
@@anthonygiordano4647 On most A1UP machines, you keep the Start and A button pressed in while the machine comes up. In Outrun, was the Start an the yellow music button. On F&F, may be Start and 1 button. If that does not work, then Start and 2 button and so on until you find the right combination. Once you do, will walk you through the calibration. Again, not sure if it will help, but possibly could.
my friend has a 1up arcade and its a major bother playing 2 players because of its limited space, and from what im seeing about 1UP is that their designs and material is lazy and cheap, its like 1UP telling us heres our awesome product with hardly any instructions and figure out on yor own. yeah im good im just gonna pay a little extra on an actual Arcade cabinet because 1UP has become a joke to me. and awesome video good sir keep it up..
Everything should have been included in the manual and any connections needed for linking. Seems like a wild goose chase to figure out crap they were too lazy to mention. Just image if u were a new consumer or not familiar with connecting hardware
People would buy this expecting full size Arcade quality and performance?? Y'all forget these are home arcades made for kids and teens at the end of the day. Still looks like fun to me.
@@koran202 My legit Killer Instinct 2 Midway cabinet was almost 5,500.00usd a year or 2 after the game came out, kind of see the difference in what a legit cabinet cost compared to a 600.00usd cab...
@@gamersplaygroundliquidm3th526 not comparing it to a full size arcade. If I was asking for that then I would want force feedback, light up buttons, bigger screen, number key pad, but when you buy a driving game the wheel should at least work 😂
This is why Arcade1Up keeps doing this. There are people who rush to defend the company like they own stock in it. These are very expensive high end adult toys. People pay several hundred dollars expecting at least the promised features to work outside the box and the rom to be near arcade quality. It’s kind of like those motorized cars you buy for your kids to drive around in. If you bought one and it came with paint peeling off, no instructions on how to hook up the battery and drove in fits and stops, would you rationalize it and say “well why were expecting it to drive like a real car?”
This is a ripoff period. 1up's marketing video of this cab on their website says the cabs can linked by "local wifi in the same room" whatever that means. There should definitely be something in the instructions on how to link them. Also, the fact that you are really getting just one game split into two is also misleading. I think this is a classic case of false advertising and I can see a possible class action suit brewing.
Facts. It’s definitely not a well balanced review. Did he have rumble turned on in the settings? Did he read the instructions thoroughly? No, because there is a calibration setting for the wheel. He’s steering back and forth wildly instead of trying to slightly turn the wheel to figure out different play styles. He plays it for two seconds and says this steering sucks. The cars all have different handling. None of that was acknowledged. This is a view lacking in honesty and depth. I have this cabinet and while no means perfect it’s the best Arcade1up offering to date in my opinion. Definitely best racing cab. Im going to put the second one together today to figure out linking.

That "NITRO" Button deserves a LED Button! lol
Great review Retro Lizard! A lot of really good info here on this F&F machine. 👍
Good review! I’m not into this game at all but you made this review video fun to watch. 👍🏻
Great review, helpful 👍
I've got mine coming next week. That steering delay, Jesus! that needs an update!
Nice video. I was curious how the "ping pong" steering would be addressed like on the Techno Parrot version, and apparently it was not mitigated.

Do you think it would help to re-calibrate the wheel/pedals in the setup? May not, but just a thought.
Is that something you can do? Is it in settings ?

You're supposed to calibrate the steering wheel. It tells you before you start playing the game. open your eyes and read.
The directions say otherwise not to calibrate the wheel that it’s already been done. Learn to read.
