I played though the first game. Stop playing wean i got to the snow level. Try to play the 2nd game. Didn't even bother pasting the first level. And the 3nd game i never played to this day. Am kinda think the game are kinda (meh) not good. But not as bad as skylanders.
Sadly this trilogy was not as well received as they had hoped. It has it's moments and fans, but most people didn't like the fighting beat-em'-up style. A lot of Spyro's fans like classic Spyro. I doubt they'll ever reboot or remake this trilogy. Not for a long, long time anyway.
