Jake reminds me of a young man I used to know. When he was a teenager, he pulled his car over and exposed himself to a girl riding her bike. He had vanity plates on his car with his name on them, so it was pretty easy for her to remember when she told the police. He also went through a toll booth without his pants on. Years later he happened to be following a school bus and spotted a girl getting off. He then made it a point to stalk her getting on and off the bus. Hopefully this is the end of his career as a sexual deviant.

The last charachteristic Dr Grande pointed out catches my attention because it somewhat describes my childhood. Growing up, I never had friends. Not because I was unliked, I didn't want any friends. I wanted to be left alone. I went to a small school, for whatever reason, the school used to tell my parents that I was weird for being a loner. I could understand the school's concern if I was getting into trouble, but I wasn't. This was the early 1970s when everyone was a child psychologist. I never had friends in middle school or high school, nor did I attend any events. I did get married right out of high school to another introvert and we have enjoyed a happy 40 years together with no friends. I have also enjoyed a lengthy career at a job where I work alone at nights. Point is, contrary to popular belief, not all loners are a threat. Weird? Maybe. I just don't care to socialize with people, and it has served me well for nearly 60 years. I have never been used, taken advantage of, betrayed, stabbed in the back, or any of the problems that come with having friends. I want to add that school officials shouldn't tell parents their kid is weird for being a loner, especially if the kid isn't getting into trouble. It still pisses me off the school did that to me.
My son is the same story and I watched his peers glare at him like he was a murderer in the making. But he is and was the kindest gentle soul they could know. My question is how was this young man able to remain troubled and aloof from others for years before he came up with this bizarre scheme ? He was in a high school class of only 35. Did they have a school counselor or school psychologist that could have helped him with his apparent social and emotional problems ? How could he have been overlooked in a small class of 35 ? I wonder if anyone noted any red flags early on ?

I'm so glad you covered this. I have heard it before but it was lacking your in depth analysis. Thanks so much Todd! I think he knew what he wanted to do with the young woman, but when the time came, unlike with her parents, he found that he couldn't "pull the trigger". This guy embodies the term loser. Seems narcissism and fantasy combine in a human brain attempting to cope with some kind of suffering. Wish more children had counseling available. Not only for their sake, but for those who might become their victims.
True. I wonder why that happens? When a person is angry and doesn't act on it, they may fantasize about extreme ways to "punish" what they believe is the source of their pain, to mend their injury. Only, the content of their fantasy unfolds like a dream, out of their control. As if they are watching a movie, something imposed onto their awareness. Where do intrusive thoughts come from and what shapes them, I wonder... I'm saying this because I remember as a youngster, being quite angry and feeling helpless in a situation, having a fantasy, the whole movie in my head, about dragons and all sorts of scary creatures just tearing some people appart, that's how angry I was. I can recognise narcissistic components in my personality and I can see how they react with anger, why i think you pin pointed that connection well 👍

"Jake claiming to be a marine, is like someone who climbed a tree claiming to be an astronaut" idk why but the way you said it made me laugh 🤣🤣🤣
Small schools don’t have those resources. There may be one counselor for everyone and they aren’t the best.
Not good reporting I guess . To know and say what they see and know about him...
Reporter are lazy
How terrifying for this family. Absolute worst nightmare scenario.
Do an episode on the child care worker who wore a "scream mask" and scared toddlers. This was in Mississippi.
I am an older parent and am so sad Jayme lost those wonderful people. And it always irritated me that when that woman found her and took her to a house to hide her they hesitated letting her in at first. Thank god the woman who found her wouldn't let her down.
I hope this guy gets a WHOLE LOT of prison justice
Is that a synonym for ass f*cking?
That's the great thing about prison violence: we can show how virtuous we are by denouncing barbaric practices like corporal punishment, the death penalty etc - but we also get those same outcomes by letting other psychopathic inmates do our dirty work for us. It's like a moral free lunch.
@eb
Yeah, those prisoners have a lot of blood on their hands....and also their cocks.
eb - As usual perceptive and savage!
I laughed when they said they moved into a new Mexico area for protection I was like does this foo not know the New Mexico has huge gangs and they don't mess around in our jails or even just the stores 😂
A pronounced interest in video games is very charitable...
Good Evening, Dr. Grande.
The police and town of Barron WI were very supportive of Jamie while she was missing and afterwards of her privacy. This is the first Dr. Grande video I’m not gonna watch out of respect for Jamie.
How would that help?
EVERYTHING about this dude SCREAMS "WHACKJOB".
Mainly the murder and kidnapping.
@@eadweard. Good point! 😆
Loving your new editing style Dr. Grande. The extra footage and images are great, I really like it.
Would love to know what all happened in the military
Why didn't they call 911 first?? Why did they hide in the bathroom? Jeez. I'm not going to my door with a flashlight. Thanks doc.
Well done. 👌
What an Angel for sparing Jaymee and her family the trauma of a trial after murdering her parents in cold blood.
✨ Happy Columbus Day Dr. Grande! ✨
happy stolen land day you mean? hehe
@@machinegurlll I feel that… 😓😓
Happy Bank Holiday!
@@machinegurlll Who stole it? Northern Europeans or Southern Europeans?
Some of the details in your final point remind me of the movie Lolita , starring James Mason, Shelly Winters, and Sue Lyon.
Also very much like the book, and movie called " the collector". Quite chilling.
Dear Dr G, this analysis gives going cold turkey a whole different meaning.
It's always the quiet one.
"It's like a man climbing a tree claiming to be an astronaut" This man's dry humor gets me everytime!
😀😆🤣🤣🧔♂🪜🌳👨🚀🚀💀💀
Thank you Dr Grande for the great content you upload daily, it never fails to make my day. Brilliant analysis. Tragic outcome and informative topic.
CT - I look for your comment every day and there you are! Our near obsession with this channel is well deserved! Best to the family - as always!💐
@@bthomson Thank you my friend (Judy ) I look forward too hearing from you. This youngest Dr Grande "G.G" is 5 months old and beautiful 😜☕🌷🌷🌷💐
Hi Noah! 🐦🌈🎂💐😘
It's very strange to me that this guy was not diagnosed with any kind of mental illness. I mean, how can you kill 2 people in cold blood, feel absolutely no remorse, and yet have nothing wrong with you? Something is not right here.
@@bthomson He smiled when I told him Aunty Judy lives in America 😍😛❤💙💙💙🌷🌸🌹🍀
Man thats sum dangerous stuff!! So verry sad!!! How do we prevent this… thats all i can think when i hear every case!!!
Another banger. Interesting and astute observation with Jake’s behavior toward people afar vs more intimately. Wondering where you found that information about how he felt about other people. Thanks for doing much more than simply reading the Wikipedia article to us!
I'm so glad you covered this. I have heard it before but it was lacking your in depth analysis. Thanks so much Todd! I always felt like it was strange that he killed her parents first and then only kidnapped her and left her unharmed. What was the purpose of killing her parents only to keep Jayme 🤔 I assume he just wanted to possess a girl but didn't know what to do with her once he had procured her.
All of this was covered in the video.
I think he knew what he wanted to do with the young woman, but when the time came, unlike with her parents, he found that he couldn't "pull the trigger". This guy embodies the term loser. Honestly, Jayme looks like she could've kicked his ass when he wasn't armed. Rarely is a teenage girl favored in a fight with a grown (well sorta) man. But, in this case, I'd take Jayme and the points.
Dr Grande ...your analysis is better than investigative discovery channel i can listen without watching...glad the girl was ok after almost 3 months though an orphan
Please make a video on Klaus Kinski.
Amazing analysis here.
The Halloween theme is awesome as well as the burn
Such a sad situation. Hopefully things are going okay for her, considering everything
Cold turkey! Thanks I lost it n chocked on my mcmuffin. That was good
Excellent analysis Dr. Grande!
Thanks, for the update

ps. your work ethic is inspiring !
Great vid Dr Grande. Love your presentation of the
information. The jokes are

Excellent
You should do a video about the 23-year-old Belgian woman who was euthanized for PTSD
Mental health issues is acceptable for medically assisted death here in Canada 😢
WHAT?!
@@1Gibson She had PTSD because she was there during the 2016 ISIS terrorist attack. Apparently she went through a ton of treatment and never recovered. Euthanasia is signed off by doctors in Belgium for extreme mental health issues.
A Dutch 29yr-old woman with BPD and several other mental health conditions also received euthanasia in Netherlands. Thing is, she said she hasn't ever experienced happiness, passed all the checks and her family and friends had been supportive
@@TheWildeFish ,I remember watching a show about this.
Thanks, Dr. Grande, I'm stealing your tree/astronaut, joke.
Great content man 🥊
Great analysis! I’m so glad you did this case. I asked about 6 months maybe longer about covering this one.🤙
Thank u Dr Grande for your thorough ananlysis.......This is Soooo sad
Dr Grande could you do a video on Stephen Collins? I still don't understand if he's in denial or lying.
I remember this. The police really stood up there and said something like "we said we would bring her home and now we have" uhmm nah bro, she brought her own self home. 😒
I love the fact that Jayme was quoted as saying, “I was smarter than Jake.” She figured him out, bided her time, and she made her move after she realized he thought she would not try to escape.
@@kathybuttsarnold3534 That is so awesome. I feel like she'll speak when she's all grown up and she'll be amazing. Bless her sweet little heart.
Do the Challenger launch decision please!!!
@12:25 some countries you are legally required to have a silencer, and others, like USA, it is basically illegal....
Silencers are not illegal in the US.
I remember hearing about this case. Thank you for doing this case.
As a quarter century year old Wisconsinite myself I can safely say that we do not claim this creature. Horrifyingly nightmarish

Very interesting analysis, thanks. Please make a video about the serial killer in Stockton who killed 6 people (the police are still looking for him).
Pure evil and disgusting. What a viscous looser. Took all that poor girl had and loved and twisted her mind.
I can recognise narcissistic components in my personality and I can see how they react with anger, why i think you pin pointed that connection well 👍
I would bet that the amount of money spent on great mental treatment would be triple paid back from less tragic crime!
Well, Bible calls it sin ..is the problem ..wisdom of the world known as philosophy or psychology call it " he got mental issues " chemical imbalance . Yet nobody knows why people murder. Nobody knows exactly what is someone mind !! Is the mind , not the brain organ itself ....
Carl Jung psychoanalysis calls it the unconscious mind deep within the psyche !
