JIM: I’m just beginning in this knife collection hobby at 73 years old. I purchased 4 different Case knives and found out that what you said about Quality Control issues….all true. I can’t seem to find out distributors where I can acquire GEC folding knives. They are beautiful knives to collect. I gotta get one thAt I can carry daily. I am an RN and want to spend wisely. Any advice for an old rookie??😂 Regards Jim Clonan
It’s very hard to find GEC knives when they’re released. They sell out fast. Check traditionalpocketknives.com to see if they have any. Also knivesshipfree.com
If I can get my hands on one of those...it would end up in my pocket, likitty-split. What is a knife for, if not to cut. Now if we were talking gold inlay, precious jewels, and many thousands of dollars....well then that's not a knife, it's jewelry. That then can be hidden away in a safe. But that Barlow is meant to be in your pocket & used. $100.00...that's what a good surf & turf dinner would cost... would you take pictures of your meal and put it away in a safety deposit box?
I have found a giraffe bone trapper with a “cigar band” stamped ex254, with a stamp 040 on the bolster, would you happen to know anything about it? I haven’t found much on the forums.
Honestly I just don't equate exotic with Giraffe bone, what's the point? Is it due to the limited availability? I still don't get it nor could I give a rats ass.To me the desirability comes with the out come of the finish product and I know of many other materials that get me more excited than Giraffe bone. I think it might be a head trip as we said in the 60's, sorry not for me.

Would you do a follow-up video in a year to let us know how the giraffe bone looks after carrying in a pocket with keys, coins etc?
That is the most beautiful Barlow I've ever seen 👍👍👍
Thanks for the vid. I just ordered one and can't wait to receive it. I definitely plan to keep mine in my pocket.

What do you have to cell, Jim?
No longer sell knives. Sorry
Do you have any of these for sale?
Not any more. Sorry
Neighbors were having more fun than you!
Is it just me or was there a gap from one end to the other on this one?
