I actually worked on the pilot for THE LEFTOVERS. I was part of the huge crowd during that big riot scene when the GR intrudes the memorial day ceromony. Filmed it in the summer of 2013.... the hottest and grossest heat wave ever. Took 8 1/2 hours to shoot that riot scene. Non-stop screaming BOOOOOOO, FUCK YOU, GET OUT OF HERE, YOU DON'T BELONG HERE, and raising the finger. Felt like being Leonardo DiCaprio during his famous scenes where he gets angry. Craziest thing for me was getting to scream at Amy Brenneman, one of my favorite film and TV actresses of all time.
What an amazining show. Brilliantly written, directed and acted.
Loved the guilty remnant. So thought-provoking
People kept saying, why would you want to be in the Guilty Remnant? I finally figured it out, when something catastrophic happens such as the departure and there is no explanation, the way things were no longer exists and the draw to the Guilty Remnant was a way to stare it right in the face, to let go af all attachment to the life as we know it, to become still and to accept it. And when you accept it, the anxiety becomes manageable.
Silent and smoking but never giving the reason why. Genius.
"Doubt is fire" must be foreshadowing the finale of season one. Right?
Love actresses like Ann Dowd who are very intelligent in real life. Great actress, great mind.

I love Liv Tyler she is so beautiful. I just started watching this series I'm only on season 1 episode 6 so far I love her character in the series. I haven't seen her in anything since sorry I can't remember the name of the movie maybe someone can help lol it was her Billy Bob Thornton and Ben Affleck they had to go into space and save the world by drilling into an asteroid that was on a collision course to Earth. Anywho as soon as I saw her in this I was like OMG yes you can tell she is older but she looks the same as she did 30 years ago
Interesting some I can relate the guilty but I have a vision of a tenant protecting, healing, teaching the ways of kindness love and compassion and give those lost hurting afraid the knowledge of just who they are how their gift is great and stay with his word be save and what a inhertience that awaits those who still stand in the day if judgement out of flames we all will be pheniox rising up with him in the sky or left on earth to endure for him amen . But I can see how it will be when the rapture happens I would be happy to remain behind be a hero for the least and a worthy person in his eyes
I think is the DVD Extra from Season 1. Its funny how the LIv Tyler character- Meg becomes leader of the Guilty Remnants in Season 2. I have not seen Season 3 yet. I personally would not want to join this Cult. Personally, Calling something a Cult is usually a very Subjective Thing. Personally, I think and many other people think that The Catholic Church is basically a Cult. Other People would say that the Hasidic Sects of Judiasm (also known as Ultra-Orthodox) are basically Cults. I read a book by a Fundamential Christian where anything that wasn't his Fundamentalist Christianiity- Buddinism, Eastern Regligions, even MOrmonism- anything that wasn't his idea of What Christanity should be was a Cult.
