Go James Go!! Love seeing him push the limites of what he can do with his machine and having fun at the same time! I am always amazed of his resilience ans strength haha more then half of the people riding machines wouldn't be able to do what he does, what a trooper!!

Cool trail. Wrong tires on the 3 wheeler for that terrain he needed something more stock they are meant to be soft and conform to the rocks.
Just goes to show , you don't need a mega expensive at to enjoy yourself , good old Honda big red ,

Well cf moto quad didn’t stand a chance , should of had the long wheel base 800 or 1000 , and that uforce cf moto impressed me when he went threw that mud hole and moved the big rock lol , I thought he was done forsure before he started lol , cf moto still isn’t in canams class but cf moto been making big moves last few years , but always be hated by many lol but they are making big changes last few years , and James lol can’t belive he tackled that , but I’m not surprized lol he sent it all it had and made it farther then I thought he would , seeing that trail from previous years videos , takes all your worth to ride a 3 wheeler like that on those trails ,

I've had the same cforce 600 into onion, twice. Cforce 800 2up once a well. Rider error much like my lower a arm. Went way too hard into a hole and smashed a root. Completely my fault. But you're correct, cf had come a long long way and is a true competitor, now. 😊
@@backcountrybanditincI own a cforce 1000 overland , owned almost all brands and was curious lol so had to try a cf moto , and no big complaints , love the cf motos in the onion lake videos every year
@@backcountrybanditinc It is okay, but so far i have had to replace an exhaust bushing and all 4 rear greasable bushings will be next, they have quite a lot of play in them now :D Front end is absolutely fine though. (5500km, cforce 600 long)

I had a Honda Big Red with chains on the rear and it was unstoppable when everyone else had quads. For going across the muskeg there is nothing better not even a 4x4.

I had to haul a gate up a slippery track on a leased farm and used the owner’s quad and it couldn’t do it and made such a mess that I had trouble retrieving the quad itself!
I had a Honda 200 3 wheeler at the time and drove down , tied up the gate and pulled it up the track without any issues
Go figure!
You know 99% of the people that watch this is just for the three wheeler nothing else matters

I get the cf moto being junk but you would think the can am would make their parts a little stronger. Reminds me of my first can am, fuel pump failed and I brought it in to the dealer and they didn’t want to warranty it because it was dirty and used off road..😂 didn’t know it was made for the highway.

Looks like bigger machines tore a nice 3 wheeler trail all up, churned it to mud, exposed roots etc. good to see the 3 wheeler still going and not parked because of it😉👍🏻

I’m surprised you or your friends don’t carry a spare tire..some of those rocks look sharp enough to cut a tire..
rolled my quad doing donuts when I was 13 had to use vice grips as a throttle.
Well I own a big red and took it on a nice trail ride recently and that thing needs a lot lower air pressure in the tires. 2 lbs would work great

Did Onion for the first time this year. Definitely worth it and I will be doing it again next year. 2 wheels is more than enough for me I don't need 4 and definitely not 3 😂

Leave no man behind. Did the three wheeler guy leave by himself. I remember him saying he didn’t have any breaks. How is he going to make it down those hills without crashing with no breaks and no help. If this is what happens I’m a little disappointed Oster cruiser. You should always make sure your buddies make it back safely before you go out and have more fun.

Well my popo towed out two machines and hotshotted the parts for the other X3 🙂. It's been in and out of that trail 3 times a year on average and hasn't been damaged or broken yet. Just sayin! 😁.

We were 74ish inches wide and made it, so yes for sure, lots of spots are much easier with front and rear lockers
@@ostacruiser should be a breeze then at 50" .... looked like some spots might be near impossible without lockers/ need alot of articulation...
Definitely want some beefed up parts and good tires if you want to see onion lake.

Casual observation, having owned 3 wheelers before I upgraded to a can am quad , the rear tyre pressures appear to be pretty high for climbing loose rocky slopes. Bouncing from rock to rock is never good
The brakes were never great on those 😅
100 percent I was thinking the same. It would have hooked up better but it seems like that tire wasn’t the right choice. Even with my rubicon I’m always playing with my tire pressures in the same kind of terrain near Hinton.
Funny watching when you went through the off camber stuff and you could watch your plastics flex also
Yup lol, I flipped my shocks so they push on the plastics when they're flexed out
