My grandparents used to live off the end of the runway of McDill AFB by Ballast Point park. I used to watch the jets fly over low about 500 feet. This was the 60's to mid 90's. I am sure that was before you were there. They were loud but fun to watch.

Hello P1D. Enjoy your videos! This morning at about 1030 we were in the pattern at our homedrome, 5I4 Sheridan. Monitoring TYQ we heard your approach from the south, landing 18. Read your ADSB data perfectly. So nice to be in the same airspace with a great aviator. Cheers.

😂 McDill F16’s. Loud! Very loud. We periodically stopped there for fuel in our RC (for me it was ‘88-‘08) & were serenaded by those little buggers. Loved sitting on the ramp watching them as our jet got gassed. Did we see you?

Another great vid, Greg! As a used-to-be pilot (got my PP, IFR and Commercial ratings back in the early 1980s), I love watching you and how much technology has change since learning in a Piper Warrior and Archer. Life circumstances took over and I haven't flown as PIC since 1985. I yearn to be back up there but it's an expensive hobby. I love getting my fix with guys like you and Citation Max.
