20:35 is called The Great Wall. Built around st bernard parish to prevent hurricane storm surge from going into New Orleans. That long river was actually man made many years ago. We know it as the MRGO, Mississippi River Gulf Outlet, industrial canal, or ship channel. Water would funnel up into our parish and new orleans since they dug the channel. We used to have cypress swamps also. All that went away with the saltwater intrusion directly related to the Industrial Canal.

Liked this episode. I did my beginning flight training at Lakefront. I also did a lot of sailing out of Southshore harbor next door. For those who don't know. Often in the fall, the National WWII Museum does an Air Power weekend when the museum brings out tanks and armored vehicles for ground displays and demonstrations. Next door at Southshore Harbor the Museum has a restored Higgins PT boat and the Commemorative Air Force brings in the aircraft. Its something to see a B-29 (Fifi), B-25, B24, B17, P-51's all flying around in the pattern.

New viewer, BINGED them all, subscribed. What a relaxing channel, it's also how I would like to fly from this point forward! Your video skills are great, good use of boxes lower L&R, enhances the look, good audio too!!

I have landed at Lakefront many years ago. Part of the James Bond movie Live and Let Die was filmed there.
