20:35 is called The Great Wall. Built around st bernard parish to prevent hurricane storm surge from going into New Orleans. That long river was actually man made many years ago. We know it as the MRGO, Mississippi River Gulf Outlet, industrial canal, or ship channel. Water would funnel up into our parish and new orleans since they dug the channel. We used to have cypress swamps also. All that went away with the saltwater intrusion directly related to the Industrial Canal.
This is great... when you freeze your frame in this video on 21:22 you can spot in the lower right corner of the screen the abandoned Six Flags park New Orleans. It was abandoned in 2005 after the floodings caused by Katrina.
Thanks for posting your Route of Flight, this way I can load it into X-Plane and flight the same route and approach. I don't fly anymore but I feel like an aviator again watching your videos.
DieGoogleDie Y’know, I’m a pilot, I don’t consider myself a jealous loser, I consider Greta Thornberg’s environmentalism a good thing and I’m a really big fan of this channel. I think there’s room for all of us. I got most of my time in a Grumman Yankee. The closest thing to jet time was in a Lear my brother flew for an oil company. But I admire his skill and love his jet!If he can afford it he can fly it!
Had to watch this again. I was asked to ride along in the tow plane--a Stearman , hauling a sailplane when I was 12 yrs old. Upon release, the sailplane broke right and our Stearman broke left--into a barrel roll. Never so fearful in my life...but I was hooked.😜
I always look forward to your videos. It's a welcome joy and stress release, especially during these difficult times. Keep up the great videos. Thanks!
Great content. You have given me some ideas for my own flight vlogs on my channel. It's interesting to see flying from a corporate point of view, rather than a bush pilot point of view.
Thanks so much for the GREAT video. You are truly a great pilot, and very professional. You act like you know what you are doing, there are a lot of people that don't. I've been watching you for a long time and wish I could do what you do !!!!
Kuul video as usual. Pre clearance done n dusted. All the bells n whistles tested. Boom off for another working adventure. Thanks for posting sir. Good luck further.
You know Greg of all the pilots that upload their flights here on RUclips you are the Best. Through your very good camera work, you show us the process of your preflight checklist, in-flight working of your instrument panel and how you go about inputting data and of course pre-landing procedures. for us non-pilots it is very fascinating and never gets tired of it and it really makes the ride along with you just that much more enjoyable. Thank You so much for the extra time and effort you put into it all.
It’s great to see Gregg posting videos while the rest of us are supposed to be shuttered. I mean to say that it’s nice to see that for some of us life goes on. Thanks for giving so many of us something to watch. Be safe.
Thank you for the arrows and other indicators used to point out both the sites outside the aircraft as well as on your instrument panel. As a aviation enthusiast your videos are always excellent and as a someone who is not a pilot, yet still learning, I just wanted to express my appreciation.
Liked this episode. I did my beginning flight training at Lakefront. I also did a lot of sailing out of Southshore harbor next door. For those who don't know. Often in the fall, the National WWII Museum does an Air Power weekend when the museum brings out tanks and armored vehicles for ground displays and demonstrations. Next door at Southshore Harbor the Museum has a restored Higgins PT boat and the Commemorative Air Force brings in the aircraft. Its something to see a B-29 (Fifi), B-25, B24, B17, P-51's all flying around in the pattern.
Thank you so much Greg, you gave me an escape from all this craziness for 27:38 minutes to be exact. Love the videos, I especially love the outside view of the plane taxing for parking..Awesome job!!
I just see on radar24 that you are flying over my country Belgium! Awesome!! Time is 07:04 UTC and it's Monday 23/03/2020. Passing EHBK in Holland now. Cheers!

What an awesome way to spend the day isolated in Fairborn Ohio. Amazing editing and camera footage. Thanks for sharing and you and your family stay safe and healthy.
I wish there were more channels like yours and citationmax. You guys are not only entertaining, but you're also informative. The part about other channels that I'm not a fan of is they dont always have good audio (especially ATC communications). As always, great job, that was a fun flight!

I hope you you got to go to the Terminal Bldg. It's one of the last Art Deco terminals remaining in the country and is a jewel. I enjoy going to Messina's Terminal Café for brunch. You can watch small planes takeoff and land while enjoying your meal and admiring your surroundings.
