Thanks to everyone for participating in the Premiere today! That was a lot of fun! I appreciate greatly all of your support and encouragement .
Cool video. Greetings from Tromsø, North-Norway👍
@@Vertigo30 Nothing wrong with your English at all my friend. Rester en sécurité! :-)
Another great vid Sir. So when will we see a barrel-roll? ;-)

Nice! KNEW is such a fun airport. Did all of my IR training out of there! Great vid as always Greg!
20:35 is called The Great Wall. Built around st bernard parish to prevent hurricane storm surge from going into New Orleans. That long river was actually man made many years ago. We know it as the MRGO, Mississippi River Gulf Outlet, industrial canal, or ship channel. Water would funnel up into our parish and new orleans since they dug the channel. We used to have cypress swamps also. All that went away with the saltwater intrusion directly related to the Industrial Canal.
Liked this episode. I did my beginning flight training at Lakefront. I also did a lot of sailing out of Southshore harbor next door. For those who don't know. Often in the fall, the National WWII Museum does an Air Power weekend when the museum brings out tanks and armored vehicles for ground displays and demonstrations. Next door at Southshore Harbor the Museum has a restored Higgins PT boat and the Commemorative Air Force brings in the aircraft. Its something to see a B-29 (Fifi), B-25, B24, B17, P-51's all flying around in the pattern.
This is great... when you freeze your frame in this video on 21:22 you can spot in the lower right corner of the screen the abandoned Six Flags park New Orleans. It was abandoned in 2005 after the floodings caused by Katrina.
I am so happy that Greg is back on posting these cool videos.
Glad your back live!
Had to watch this again. I was asked to ride along in the tow plane--a Stearman , hauling a sailplane when I was 12 yrs old. Upon release, the sailplane broke right and our Stearman broke left--into a barrel roll. Never so fearful in my life...but I was hooked.😜
Performance is really awesome. Beautiful takeoff. Keep them coming Greg. Enjoying the t-shirt. Wearing as I work from home today. Tailwinds!!
Thanks for posting your Route of Flight, this way I can load it into X-Plane and flight the same route and approach. I don't fly anymore but I feel like an aviator again watching your videos.
Thanks! That is exactly why I put it in
@@gregmink one question... when you activate the VNAV, do you have to press the APR on final to allow the plane to capture the GS to runway ?
Took flight lessons at Lake Front years ago. Bucket of bolts C152 and more turbulence than a tornado, great memories.
Love the multiple camera angles on landing.
Thanks for noticing!
@@gregmink So did I. Great vid and editing. Would have loved to see the high altitude chops but then I thought of your better half. Thanks -
Yeah them ailerons were getting a workout
Another awesome flight. Thanks for sharing!!!
It's incredible what you do. Thank you for sharing.
Loved the cute little bumble bee graphic (-:
Gorgeous flight!
It is always fun and instructive to ride along on your flights. Thank you for the excellent video you produce.
Who would "thumb down" this channel?! He rocks!🤩
Right? I'm not a pilot, but I love this channel!
Two types: Jealous losers and Gretta Thurnburg (sic?) stormtroopers.
Maybe they're jealous?
DieGoogleDie Y’know, I’m a pilot, I don’t consider myself a jealous loser, I consider Greta Thornberg’s environmentalism a good thing and I’m a really big fan of this channel. I think there’s room for all of us. I got most of my time in a Grumman Yankee. The closest thing to jet time was in a Lear my brother flew for an oil company. But I admire his skill and love his jet!If he can afford it he can fly it!
Thanks Greg, something awesome to look forward to while passing through this isolation period here 👌😃🇺🇸Keep em coming.....GregTV.....!
Thank you for another flight. I am visually impaired and can see enough to have fun flying along with you. You rock and please keep up with vids!
Thanks for sharing Greg. So great to watch and spend a half hour enjoying your flight.
Great Video!! Thanks for letting us come along in the right seat! Great video production as well ... love the split screens on the approach, and the quick out take at flight training! Stay safe!
Here waiting in Eaton, Ohio...so glad you are doing this today!
thanks very much, these videos just keep getting better! Loved the multiple cameras and the route animation was a nice touch
It was cool you showed us once in the air Naples Airport so we could see where you were. A great touch.
Love your videos as always!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Another fantastic video - cheers P1D for the time and effort - from a very quiet London, England!
Nice approach and landing.....love all the cam views!
Thanks for the ride. Fly safe.
The new paint job looks great. Great vids as usual.
Thanks for your videos. You provide very high quality content. The amount of effort you put into your videos is outstanding, much appreciated.
Thank you for your time and effort to include me in your travels. Love these videos.....
Another very enjoyable video. Always find the explanations of operating the Aircraft of particular interest, given the very "basic" nature of the aircraft I fly...a different but very interesting type of flying. Thanks and keep 'em coming. Cheers!
gorgeous day. thanx for upload!
Cheer Greg, thanks for keeping me entertained during this strange time. love your work
Kuul video as usual. Pre clearance done n dusted. All the bells n whistles tested. Boom off for another working adventure. Thanks for posting sir. Good luck further.

Man, I love that interior! Great flight, thanks for brining us along.
Thanks for coming along!
Your video made my lunch break at work much more enjoyable today. Thank you for including the engine start ups (I always turn up the volume a little).
I really enjoy your videos P1D. Outstanding !!
Thank you for the arrows and other indicators used to point out both the sites outside the aircraft as well as on your instrument panel. As a aviation enthusiast your videos are always excellent and as a someone who is not a pilot, yet still learning, I just wanted to express my appreciation.
G'day Greg, just got back from the airport. My leg was canceled, no passengers so the crew was sent home. Thanks for your videos!
Thanks for another great video ZGM
"Sheltering In" on beautiful Lake of Egypt in southern Illinois, P1D! Enjoyed the video! You & your family stay safe & healthy! One of your biggest fans, still!
Great new paint and graphics! I enjoy your videos greatly. Thanks, Greg.
Thanks!
Nicely done as usual!😊👍
love the cam angles and the last clip of you taxing in @ Lakefront. spectacular as always...thanks
Thanks!
You know Greg of all the pilots that upload their flights here on RUclips you are the Best. Through your very good camera work, you show us the process of your preflight checklist, in-flight working of your instrument panel and how you go about inputting data and of course pre-landing procedures. for us non-pilots it is very fascinating and never gets tired of it and it really makes the ride along with you just that much more enjoyable. Thank You so much for the extra time and effort you put into it all.
Hey Greg. Hope all is well with you and yours. Stay safe and be well.
Thanks for the ride along Greg, specially with all the time self isolating and all. Good luck with the simulator, sure sounds like fun to me to try stuff that you don't have the fear of crashing but just a bad score. It would come in really handy for me.....lol
Very cool. I live about 45 miles north of New Orleans just across the Mississippi line.
Love the views, great camera footage
Awesome video on the approach/landing.. great vids... I love them...!!
I enjoyed that too!
I have watched several of your vids. Nicely done. I enjoy the various mounted camera views and the hand-held views you provide.

@@gregmink Thanks Greg! You too...
Hi. Been watching your videos for a year now. It's very interesting on how from a pilot's view on flying, really amazing and entertaining, thank you for this great content you achieve here. Love from central Queensland Australia
Good to see a couple of vids from you. Perfect timing for those sticking around the house. Safe travels.
I think that is a lot of us!
First landing I’ve seen at N. O. Lakefront. Thanks for the post.
Great video as usual. I appreciate all the info you provide as I try to replicate your flight on my system at home (X-Plane) flying the Premier 1. Thanks so much and enjoy the simulation training.
Thoroughly enjoyed your trip to Vancouver Canada and back. Great views and lots of information.
That was a fun trip.
Appreciate you sharing the cockpit with us Sir
My pleasure!!
Thanks for sharing - love the videos and following along with you! Stay healthy!
Thanks!
Back in 2000 working in Saudi Arabia, I use to fly MS flight sim from baton Rouge to lake front every other day. Passing the time. 😎 practice makes perfect!
Another great video... nice work with 360 camera!
We always look forward to your videos.
Wonderful landing videos!
Thanks so much for the GREAT video. You are truly a great pilot, and very professional. You act like you know what you are doing, there are a lot of people that don't. I've been watching you for a long time and wish I could do what you do !!!!
Thanks for watching!
Great flight, I really enjoy how detailed you are at showing and explaining everything you do. I love the animated drawing of you and your jet at the end, as that's the first I've seen of it. Thank you. Smedley Butler
Yeah I jazzed it up a bit on this one!
Nice Carrier approach! Grabbed the 3 wire. adding paint on the engines nice touch.
Thank you so much Greg, you gave me an escape from all this craziness for 27:38 minutes to be exact. Love the videos, I especially love the outside view of the plane taxing for parking..Awesome job!!
You can thank my friend for that exterior footage!
Great video as always, Greg!
Thank you!
My stomping grounds! Big fan of the channel as well
Greg, I both admire and envy you! If only I could go back and do it again!!
That was a cool approach. That runway is a peninsula; looks like it could flood very easily, along with the rest of New Orleans. Great vid!
Another nice one,p. Great editing! Hope to see some more soon
Thanks, Greg, another great video!
Thanks!
Love watching your videos actually have learned a lot about fixed wing,be safe and keep them coming.
Will do!
Love your videos Greg! Your camera angles are spot on!
Thanks, I am pleased with this video.
Well darn! That was hilarious. As always, thanks for the ride along Greg. Splendid!
Keeping it G rated!
Really enjoy your videos and your commentary!
Thanks!
Amazing to me is how far along ILS approaches have evolved since the 1970's. Hats off to Honeywell and Collins FMS...and to GM for the videos!
It never tires me to hear those engines ramp up--I work in test cells all day long😎
Loved that approach to Your landing!
Me too!
Damn fine day for crossing the Gulf of Mexico! Awesome day sir!
It was a nice day!
Great video and chat! Thanks, Greg!
I enjoyed it too!
I was supposed to fly in to Lakefront Saturday to catch a cruise ship for my son's wedding. You can fill in the blanks! I have a turbo V tail. Went to Wichita a few years back for Flight Safety. Great experience. Thanks for the video. At least I felt I made part of the trip!
