EXCELLENT JOB!! PROFESSIONALLY DONE! It is the difference between night and day with the results you created. I hope they paid you big $$$$$$ for this project because you darn well earned it!!!!!!
I like your content. I have been around construction for over 40 years. Seen most of it all. But watching you, I feel like a little kid, watching the grown-ups do cool shit. I'm 60 years old.
Would be nice for you to do a 5 minute follow up to see what it looks like with the grass grown and the water back in,maybe a couple of b4 and after stills as well
I had a new pad poured at home. The truck that came in wasn't a regular concrete truck - it had all the parts (water, sand, aggregate, cement) and it mixed as it went out the conveyor. We used exactly as much as we needed. It was an awesome setup and I'll definitely use that exclusively going forward. No need to order in advance, because the concrete isn't mixed until the instant it's poured.
Dude...concrete doesn't dry. It cures. You have a good touch. It is fun to watch good equipment operators. Your projects are always fun to watch. Thanks for sharing.
Seeing jobs like this give me hope that there are tradespeople out there with a clue. And more importantly, they are passing their knowledge on. I was in heavy construction many decades ago, and I really appreciate your videos.
Well good job Nice to see that Brandon can enjoy his time away from work and home. I see his Mrs is checking in 🤔😉😏 Just making sure he's still spending quality time with you Chris 😁😂
It is cool to see you and Brandon working together in these recent videos. Enjoy both of your channels a great deal! I too would like to sign up for the "work with Chris for a week" contest! Good stuff guys 👍
Really good 👌👍 job Chris. It's a wonder if they didn't want you to dredge that pond to while the water level was down. But beautiful work on the pond dam.
Its amazing. Who thought watching you dig holes would be entertaining. But here I am, about 10 of your videos deep and I am quite engaged. Keep the content coming.
That was almost as fun and captivating as watching the bonfire on Friday. It just doesn't get any better than this! Wonder why they didn't do a bit of dredging on the pond while they were at it?
that looks so much better, all graded and level and wide enough to sit around in lawn chairs and enjoy the view or fish if the pond is stocked. Much more aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Superb job as usual Chris... so yeah about that comment above... how do we enter that 'work with Chris for a week contest' or at least play with his toys! lolol
Love your Skills and knowledge! I wish I had that too! I do Autoglass for all makes for the last 15 yrs, but I love what your doing and how you do it! I wish I had a way in with you! Your awesome!
I noticed Brandon went missing for a while...i figured he went to get lunch by himself because of the gourmet lunch ( McDonalds) you fed him yesterday!! Lol Luckily his wife gave him spending money. You guys did a great job.
@@mrs.eliteearthworks Is the CFO going to be happy that Chris has Brandon wanting a tilt bucket attachment for his excavator and newer model skid-steer? I think the tilt bucket will be an awesome addition plus you always got to have your office in a good place and the skid-steer is his office 😁
I am surprised this pond being in the city you didn't have inspectors all over this project. Turned out great. This was a LD18 job par excellence with ELITE help. Only way it could have been Mo Better if you could have used Perfect Dirt on this job.
Is there ANYTHING that the 2200 can't do? It's can dig, of course.... but also mow, sweep, cut down trees, crush old pipe, take down bricks, deliver concrete, pull itself along, and rescue other excavators. Thanks for the great "City Pond" series!
Nice work Chris.i like the idea of putting chopped straw down To make it look neater. Looks ansolutely fantastic. Can you do a flight over with the drone on your next Project? Stay safe Chris 👍
I believe it is for so much more than just cosmetic purposes. It helps prevent the fresh topsoil and new seeds from washing away before they can grow roots
@@Lloyd.B. That is my understanding yes, however I am just an amature landscaper. We had to do it a number of times on various family members yards, specifically the hills. It degrades quickly enough that it doesn't impede the grass growth, but holds the seed and soil in place enough for the roots to grow first.
@@Sellner07DEW OK. Thanks. I had the idea the straw was somehow seeding the ground, but I realise now that makes no sense because straw is what's left when the seeds/grain have been harvested off the top lol.
Suprised they didn’t have you go ahead and haul out a few loads of mud while the pond was empty. Looked awesome. Good to see Tim i mean Brandon working hard 😓
@@gravelydon7072 That would be commonplace here in NY, they like to build a new road, then go in two weeks later and replace all the culverts under the road !!!
At least you can sit in one spot, fill and dump the concrete! That’s a plus Chris! lol I’ve seen some of the stuff you’ve gone through to get the concrete to the pipe!
And another one turned out really Nice !! I hope they keep it mowed down this time !, Man, those was some thick ass vines you pulled off there when you started that one, was just a mess !! lololol.... But, they got a nice new start in keeping it up now , maybe they will do just that !! lol... Great as always Chris !! Have a Great Evening Man !! On to the Next......
Chris, what an artist does with a brush and paint you do with dirt and machines. Truly a masterpiece. God Bless and Good Health
Nice finish. Would love to see a 30 day follow up after pond fills and grass is up...

It drys if he says it drys then it goes into a curing process dude
Just realized how big that bucket is when you start dumping concrete out of it that thing of a lot of concrete. 👍☕️🍀
Its more than a wheel barrel, and those full of concrete are heavy as hell.
I'd imagine letting that set up inside the bucket would make for a pretty good counterweight.
Quite a versatile machine, too.
Always a nice clean finish👍
Shallow pond, won't retain much water. Great job on the drain rebuild, looks nice compared to when you first arrived a few weeks back.

Great job Chris, nice rehabilitation of the pond.
