I loved Chris’s comment at 15.35. “ I don’t need no stinkin chain “ adapted from Blazing Saddles of course . What a fantastic film that was , Mel Brooks at his best .
Funny how many times you move locations, regardless of the project, your white pickup always seems to be in the background about 90% of the time. Luv that.
I got chills when you dropped the load of dirt on top of the pipe....Many years ago, we were putting 4 new 10k gallons tanks in for a new gas station.. we were ready to start back filling the hole with 800 tons of pea gravel..The foreman dropped 5/8 yard of gravel on top of one tank and it spun...had to pull all 4 tanks and dig out the hole...in the process we hit 9 natural springs...had to set up a well point system to drop the water table 20 feet!
Nah, Chris didn't get stuck. He is just making a "how not to" video. It is all about him providing continued instructional videos, just part of the series. Merry Christmas everyone!
I must say, these subtitles / that transcript is very accurate! Just one example: 40:08 So [this pass with the skidsteer is done] 40:18 Applause [for turning the skidsteer around] 40:23 Music [Yup, back to work!]
Wow, Justin sure is a fun guy to have around and a great friend. He definitely lightens up your day. I surely do love it. Best job I ever had. From the movie Fury. Love the video very entertaining. Cheers Chris.
I've learned more than you could imagine watching you run equipment. I'm a small time operation....but my skills have improved vastly saving me time, money, and wear & tear. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
All beavers in this creek are thankful for your Christmas gift, Chris. A perfect dam with just a small manageable hole to fill in! Happy holidays to them all !! :D God Jul from Sweden!
Thanks for all the videos you share. It’s not stuck, just won’t go is usually more of a winter event where I live. Usually happens when you stop with the drive tires on ice and a snowballs worth of snow blocking the rear tires. Merry Christmas, wishing you the best.
I think you meant something like- It's not high-centered,it just won't move. Of course if you tried the bucket pry trick and it still wouldn't go,well, that is pretty much a stuck skidloader. Lol. Oh well, you are still among the very best of operators. Merry Christmas to all!
@ Around 9:00 you said "fine and dandy", it reminded me of a late friend who always said "Dan and findy", in this Christmas season I thank you a whole flood of pleasant memories came back to me, Merry Christmas.
I would haul in 3 or 4 loads of the stones from the vet clinic site to use as riprap on both side of the pipe, to keep the creek from washing out the culvert and dirt during heavy flows. At least it will be a good way to use rock that you would otherwise have to pay to be dumped. Merry Christmas
Always buried the pipe about 1/3 the diameter of the pipe below the grade of the stream. Helped prevent scouring at the outlet and silting in the pipe.
Happy Christmas from Northern Ireland folk you enjoy your break with the family cheers Chris for all the GREAT VIDEOS all year and can not wait for next years videos
Seems like you have found the sweet spot on the bucket that you said was a lil shallow in the back on the Skid Steer, it seem to do a great job on spreading them piles of dirt.
Been there lol tracks spinning forward while you slide backwards uncontrollably. Usually happens when I’m plowing snow in the resort we used to plow snow in.
The wife pointed out the crumbs under my desk, I told her I needed to track it in, she slapped me pretty good in the back of the head and told me to use the broom and bucket... I think I need ah new attachment fer the chair
Reading this comment at 4am on the very first day of 2021 and really enjoyed the belly laugh this gave me......crumbs!...I need to track it in...…hilarious. You deserved the slap but she does need to grow a sense of humour, though on 2nd thought....the slap was funny! so maybe she has a great sense of humour already.
I think we all across the south will be glad when the rain patterns stop coming every few days. Just about time you get the dirt lined out it comes another rain on it.
Its great To See Justin again and he is always in a good mood. Always Happy and ready To lend a helping Hand. Hope we get To See him again in the near Future. The pipe placement looks Great Chris.nice job.hope the skidsteer is alright lol😃.merry Christmas and Happy holidays.
Happy Christmas to you and yours Chris, your videos are a real tonic with all the crap going on over here in England The view from your cab has been of real interest to me tucked up here on the sofa.
Hey Chris, After watching this video I still think you should release an "AW SHIT" video, just a thought. To all my fellow viewers, to you and your family, to John and Justin, and last but not least "LITTLE TIMMY" " MERRY CHRISTMAS , and "GOD BLESS US ALL"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can't get out is when you are smart enough to stop. STUCK is when you keep trying even though it is impossible thus you end up dug in so deep the belly of the machine is buried and the tracks are free wheeling in the air. Yup, the fine line of smart vs stubborn.
Chirs is On the job again the mud man doing a great job happy holidays to you and your family continue to do well looking forward to 2021 projects keep the videos coming
All the best chris hope you and young winston doin ok hope you and the crew all have lovely time and looking forward to seeing what 2021 has in line for us be safe .
Another great job, Chris. I love that you were able to laugh about your boo- boo instead of getting grumpy. Are they going to have you prep the house site while you’re there? Best wishes to you and all your Oak Ridge Farm family for a very merry Christmas! 🎄
🤣 that ain't stuck. When I was a kid, I saw a dozer get stuck in mud. It's still there, somewhere deep down in the mud. That was over 55-years ago that it sank. Anyway, Mele Kalikimaka (Merry Christmas) to you & your family and friends till next time. 🤙🙋
It's always a good thing to have a big hole which needs filling with dirt, when you have a lot of spare dirt in need of a home. Happy Christmas you you & yours Chris.
It's kinda like the young fella hobbling over to his neighbors house on crutches. The neighbor said "How did you come to break your leg?" The fella said "I didn't come to break my leg, I come to fix your roof". "But I fell off and broke my leg". Merry Christmas!
You should invest in a cable choker and I would use 3/4 Stone at least halfway up before I run a machine over it but then again water would run threw the stone. Maybe a few bales of straw in front of that pipe until you get grass planted so the mud gets filtered
Am I the only one who finds it wild how he can just effortlessly flick the skidsteer bucket? Its like he is litteraly flicking his wrist without skipping a beat putting it exactly where he wants it with zero effort. Anyway MERY CHRISTMAS 🎄 CHRIS!
I was twice finding my self a tad mesmerised while watching Chris 'skid steer' the clay. He has a way with machinery, that's for sure, as if it's a part of him.
Curious what the permitting process is like there? Here in Oregon it would take months and involve numerous agencies to even get withing 10 feet of water.
More Justin please. His laugh is contagious. He seems like a great guy!
I loved Chris’s comment at 15.35. “ I don’t need no stinkin chain “ adapted from Blazing Saddles of course . What a fantastic film that was , Mel Brooks at his best .
Forgot to add, this is a masterpiece. You should put a plaque there with your name and date. It will be 50 years till this pond will be touched again!
Funny how many times you move locations, regardless of the project, your white pickup always seems to be in the background about 90% of the time. Luv that.

“It’s not stuck, I just can’t get out!” - That’s hilarious & worthy of a Tshirt. 🤣 Merry Christmas 🎄
With a picture of the skid steer at the bottom of a ditch, too.
I’d wear that t-shirt! My wife wouldn’t see the humor in it though . . . .
Okpoo POm
It's June, hope you and crew had a Merry Christmas.
Nah, Chris didn't get stuck. He is just making a "how not to" video. It is all about him providing continued instructional videos, just part of the series. Merry Christmas everyone!
Arrived Justin time for the rescue. Merry Christmas.
Really great job with that road and creek 🚸. Love seeing you and Justin working together and having fun at the same time. Love you guys.
Justin's laugh could be used as an antidepressant 😁
I was going to comment on his laugh but you hit the nail on the head. Very nice 👌 👍
My friend the driving instructor always said "if you get out without calling in a wrecker, you were never stuck."
I love Justin's laugh it makes the workplace so much more enjoyable working with happy upbeat guys
“It’s not stuck, I just can’t get out.” Sounds like my definition of stuck!
Haha, I think you are right.
Could be the next logo for the LD18 shirts!
E
Love responsible land caretakers, and kudos to the people who hire the right people to do it.
Dig it! ✝️🇺🇸🐢
“I’m not stuck, it just won’t climb the hill”
Classic.
Looks like gumbo, like walking on grease.
That’s happened a time or two while I’ve been pushing snow.
I must say, these subtitles / that transcript is very accurate! Just one example:
40:08 So [this pass with the skidsteer is done]
40:18 Applause [for turning the skidsteer around]
40:23 Music [Yup, back to work!]
Chrisism: "It's not stuck, it just won't move." Merry Christmas!
Beat me to it. I was gonna say exact same thing. Perhaps I have a different definition for stuck!!!
Wow, Justin sure is a fun guy to have around and a great friend. He definitely lightens up your day. I surely do love it. Best job I ever had. From the movie Fury. Love the video very entertaining. Cheers Chris.

"...It just won't go up the hill..." I'll have to remember that for the next time!
I find these videos very relaxing to watch. Thanks!
So that is the bridge over schitt's creek. Great job Chris thanks for sharing your video with us. Ed
All beavers in this creek are thankful for your Christmas gift, Chris. A perfect dam with just a small manageable hole to fill in! Happy holidays to them all !! :D God Jul from Sweden!
That’s what a good friend does, try to keep ya humble
Lol lol "it's not stuck just cant move it out." Great one Chris like to see professionals messing up. Lol lol. The best.
Getting the skidsteer stuck with Justin on the job made for some great banter bro. Safe travels over the silly season from Hobbiton NZ
@ Ken Allen , have one on me at the Green Dragon ! Been to Hobbiton a couple of times, the last while the Dragon was getting its finishing touches.
Actually never been out there, only seen what they put in the local paper.
Plus you did a great job and you had your moment of the day
Boy, that little skid steer is a work horse! Merry Christmas everyone!
Have you ever put the dozer blade attachment on the skid steer.
Thanks for all the videos you share. It’s not stuck, just won’t go is usually more of a winter event where I live. Usually happens when you stop with the drive tires on ice and a snowballs worth of snow blocking the rear tires. Merry Christmas, wishing you the best.

LOL Its not STUCK i just cant get out ... Wonderfully funny statement . .... It wont climb the hill ..
Awesome ! Love your videos !

You did a great job on the driveway the creek Crossing with a covert put in owner should be very happy 😊👍🍀

Merry Christmas
Good ol Justin always a laugh and a smile. Does he ever get serious about anything? Wish I could live my life that way.
So even Chris is human -"Can't get out" pretty much means "I'm stuck" - Thanks for all the entertainment - have a great Christmas break.
There's just something infectious about Justin's laugh lol
Super patron , malheureusement en trouve pas beaucoup , merci pour toutes et belle vidéos
Excellent job Chris 👍👍
Merry Christmas to you Chris & your Uncle John and all your families, stay safe & enjoy your time away.

Merry Christmas Chris
Thank you for all the videos.

On tv 5 they reported we’ve had the most rain ever recorded since 1865 at RDU . I believe It too . It certainly has been a lot of rain in 2020 .
it has been a wet freaking year
You got that right Mr. Eddie. And everybody is wanting it done yesterday no matter the weather!
I hope life is good Andrew !

IT WAS STUCK..MERRY CHRISTMAS CRIS TO YOU AND FAMILY.THANKS FOR SHARING.
Define stuck: caint get out, won't go, no traction, slid over into a hole.. These are just a few examples of a Stuck Chris. 😄😄😄
Merry Christmas! 🎅
My favorite time in the morning; watching Let's Dig. Thank you for the excellent fun & entertainment - real life stuff can't be beat. Merry Christmas!
