I just Bought a New 49 cc Engine for my Goped and the Tuning was off you're video has Helped me out i was running to rich and you're video showed me how to tune the carb
Thank you! I'm gonna have my wife help me with the idle screw adjusting. I got curious and over adjusted both screws and now I can't get it to run. Finding the sweet spot has been a nightmare and I'm about to buy a new carb again( this is a brand new carb, it had been running just fine prior)
Hey Aaron, have a GS Moon for my son. The car is clean and tuned as per this video... But as soon as we throttle hard with weight, the mother dies. Any insight? Ignition coil?
I have this same engine just put on a pitbike for my nephew was hooking up the throttle cable and couldn't get it to stay in the carb part like the valve is to long does the spring help keep it from falling out of what throttle cable do I need?
smurphyy25 your low end needs to be adjusted, so that’s the one screw on the top , just means your not getting enough fuel, as for your high end turn the screw in all the way and back it out atleast 1 1/2 turns out as a good starting point for that
I really hated the old carb for my 33cc gsmoon. So me and my neighbor took a chainsaw carb from my father inlaw and swapped it. No more bullcrap primer bulb that breaks now. Plus we had to custom fit a long intake pipe so the old carb couldn't work anymore. So the chainsaw one works fine. Had to jimmy my throttle line to it but fine lol
Corey Dainard If you are having problems with takeoff then you’d have to adjust your low end power to Takeoff (top screw at top of carb) Because it just sounds like you’re not getting enough fuel to create that power to takeoff effectively, now when you’re making these adjustments make sure that adjustments are very minuscule like a 16th of a turn at a time anymore than that, when it’s time to crank it and start it all you’re gonna do is flood the engine If it’s been adjusted to much

How many turns out from full close do you have that top tiny screw? I need to tune that screw on my 49cc 2 stroke.

Sounds like she is not getting enough fuel or too much, try tuning that top screw on the carb. If not I’d try a new carb.

Could you provide more info on the 43cc engine you swapped in? The model, or where you bought it?
Nice setup
Corey Dainard it’s a wingsmoto 43cc motor for 150$ on Amazon

I too had the same engine upgrade on mine as well ,still left unfinished.
I have a 49 cc and don't have that top screw on my carb
J S you may need another carb if you need to make those adjustments
It would help if I can hear you
