Hey brother 2 strokes do not like to idle because there is no where for the excess oil to go and idling causes the crank case to load all up with fuel and then its spits back through the carb and out the air filter. This applies to gords to Man absolutely! Being that your engine pulls a human, you want to give it as much fuel as it possibly can without falling on its face that will really help your takeoff . If you’re engine will idle all day long your low is too lean not lean enough to hurt the engine, but lean enough to slack on power.. Good luck on it man tuning is my favorite thing about RC and two strokes in general! Hope you have a great weekend Man

Hey bro Im sorry I shouldn’t say things like that. Ive been doing this for years and its easy for me and my ear is trained to an optimal tune. I’ll give you a tip, if you are priming your engine with the slow pulls and its not freezing cold outside you dont need the choke bro. Because priming the carb brings fuel to the carb only. Once to the carb if you pull the cord slowly pop pop pop you are now drawing raw fuel into the engine with each pull. Then putting the choke on shuts all the air off and only gives the engine even more fuel thus flooding it out. So try no choke after an engine prime . Another way is this …care sat for a day a week two days what ever. Prime the bulb a couple times to circulate fuel then set the choke and start pulling as soon as you hear engine pop or go ding da ding ding and cut off. Stop turn the choke off and proceed to pull start the engine. You may need a little blip of the trigger when she fires off. I hope that helps bro. A high performance engine floods easy just like a chainsaw. They can be flooded sooooooo easy with incorrect starting methods. I hope that helps you buddy! Have a great night🤝

Not yet soon I will. Mike gives the stock settings for the carb on his website bro. I believe its 1 1/2 out on the low and 2 and a pinch 🤏 out on the high.

Im going to soon do an actual running vid with my new car so you fellas can hear the difference between too rich too lean and optimal and conventional. Be sure to Subscribe so you dont miss it. So in the goped tuners world we are told that since we are pushing a body weight with these small engines that they perform alot better if we bury the idle screw all the way in and adjust the tune accordingly from there. Like 90% of the community is doing this currently. Is there any truth for this being the case for our tuning? Or should we tune the idle screw how u say to do it?
That is called the bartolone tune and brother that is not good . You are simulating a vacuum leak. The idle screw is there, because the idle has a circuit for adjustment, burying it all the way in is just totally not right and that is not smart at all. You should turn the idle screw just how I say to do it. pulling a heavy body is like me pulling nine gear sets above stock gears. All you need is fuel you need a nice fat low to get you going. Fuel makes power. So to answer your question brother no there is no truth in burying the idle needle. I hope that helps. Tuning is an art not many can grasp it for the tune to be optimal. Optimal is key for making all the power you can.
Sorry man I dont have a link I share all that information here on the channel. One of the vids I show and explain how to tune on the high n low needles . Basically just make small adjustments tiny ones. And from base settings dont go more than a quarter turn lean of you can hurt the engine.
@dancj10 yes bro right clockwise lean counterclockwise left rich. So when making adjustments picture a clock in your head, you’re adjustments will be every 15 minutes give or take if you follow me looking at it as a clock pattern. You can also look at it in the way of a pie and when you’re tuning the carburetor you’re making little slices in the pie.
Walbro generally come at base settings and you don’t wanna go further than a quarter turn in lean from that setting if you would like to start excessively rich and tune down from there, you can set the carb at 1 1/2 out on the low and 1 and 7/8 out on the high
so the low tune is just for idle ? and the high is for like max rpms ? right ?? so i should set my low screw to idle like pops or to where its about to turn off ? im tryna tune my buddies 46 cc go ped bigfoot motor has this carb and it bogs when taking off but still goes fast once it takes off . is it supposed to bog a bit ?
The low is for low end not idle. But your idle once correctly set will change with the low. To lean idles fast . Too rich wont idle at all. You find the happy medium. That is what tuning is all about finding the sweet spot or happy medium where both the low and high are working together simultaneously while the trigger is wide open!!
Hi brother a question to ask you, I want to buy Taylor 35cc v2 can we mount WT990 on steel axle bearing with spring tarer for G340 on this 35cc engine thanks to you

@@wesleymorgan7894 I would give the 1107 a try. If you would like to try the next size up carb for your engine you will need an adapter plate. You can contact Allen Cestra of TMR Performance on Facebook and see if he will make you one.
Do you have any experience with an engine that needs a rebuild? I got a used 26cc ss that has no power no matter what I do. I can hold the thing back with my foot even after replacing the clutch
Been doing gas Rc for over 25 years. I wish it was that easy. It’s not. There is way more to it. But once that sweet spot is found a small adjustment is needed if any at all.
😂😂😂 thats Awesome brother! Much love right back! I just like to have fun and enjoy life. Ive made sound effects since I was a kid now Im just big kid with responsibilities 😂!
Sounds like it could be a carb problem or possibly a linkage problem check your linkage and make sure the throttle lever is opening all the way on the carb. If that is good then you could possibly be to rich or too lean. If its not cutting out on top and just gurgling or sounding like a weed eater that wont clean out then your high needle is too rich and will need to be leaned in very tiny increments until you achieve nice high rpms. A mini tachometer cane help you with a lot to show you if you are going in the right direction or not! Happy brapping to ya bro! Have a great day . I hope that helps ya

Not yet soon I will. Mike gives the stock settings for the carb on his website bro. I believe its 1 1/2 out on the low and 2 and a pinch 🤏 out on the high.
Thank you good info very helpful.
@@isaaco8056 you are very welcome 🙏 hope
You have a blessed week!
What is the tuning video you keep referring to during this video?
ruclips.net/video/NJXyy30ZYTI/видео.htmlsi=zLb-W-DnTVtc9tOf
There ya go bro hope that helps ya. Thats the vid I was referring to. Im going to soon do an actual running vid with my new car so you fellas can hear the difference between too rich too lean and optimal and conventional. Be sure to Subscribe so you dont miss it. I help people thats what I do for the hobby!
merci pour les conseils frerot👍👍👍👍
You’re very welcome brother
All of this information is 100%
Excellent bro Im glad you liked the video. Two strokes are my deal!
A link to adjust the low and high speed needles? I have a Walbro WT1191
Sorry man I dont have a link I share all that information here on the channel. One of the vids I show and explain how to tune on the high n low needles . Basically just make small adjustments tiny ones. And from base settings dont go more than a quarter turn lean of you can hurt the engine.
@@eastsiderc is lean right turns? And rich left turns? Correct? I may be mistaken
I just baught a walbro wt 813 hp carb for my big foot goped what the best tune for it and does it come factory tuned
Tune the low first and get it taking off good. Then simply clean up the high to a crispy clean high note.
Hi brother a question to ask you, I want to buy Taylor 35cc v2 can we mount WT990 on steel axle bearing with spring tarer for G340 on this 35cc engine thanks to you
Hey Mike I answered this question for you I believe you replied back to me on another video! Hope you have a blessed weekend brother. 🤝
@@eastsiderc hi brother I received my Taylor 35cc with two heat insulators for the carburetor, one narrow and one wide, which is the best for the engine for good operation, thank you
@michel3777 the wide one should be good hope ya have some happy brapping bro! Sorry for the late reply. I do my best to get back to everyone that comments! I appreciate your support brother! Im here to help
Whats the biggest carb you can use on small bore
Thats not modded and will bolt right on without any adapters would be the 1107 or the punched out version of it the 1257 from Taylor RC.
Engine wasnt built by obr i built it myself just told them crank i was using had them send me billet case and top end
@@wesleymorgan7894 I would give the 1107 a try. If you would like to try the next size up carb for your engine you will need an adapter plate. You can contact Allen Cestra of TMR Performance on Facebook and see if he will make you one.
@@eastsiderc i have 1107 on zenoah g290 in my other baja
@@eastsiderc ive got two bajas one wasnt enough
Do you have any experience with an engine that needs a rebuild? I got a used 26cc ss that has no power no matter what I do. I can hold the thing back with my foot even after replacing the clutch
I sure do man. You could try just putting a whole new top end on it with gaskets. That will bring it back to life
Great info!💯👍
Thanks bro!
Been doing gas Rc for over 25 years. I wish it was that easy. It’s not. There is way more to it. But once that sweet spot is found a small adjustment is needed if any at all.
It definitely takes an ear 👂 for it.
i make sounds in my videos too.. I LOVE YOU
😂😂😂 thats Awesome brother! Much love right back! I just like to have fun and enjoy life. Ive made sound effects since I was a kid now Im just big kid with responsibilities 😂!
hey I have a Rovan Baja 5b seems to hit its top speed at Half throttle and will not go any faster after half throttle is that a carburetor problem?
Sounds like it could be a carb problem or possibly a linkage problem check your linkage and make sure the throttle lever is opening all the way on the carb. If that is good then you could possibly be to rich or too lean. If its not cutting out on top and just gurgling or sounding like a weed eater that wont clean out then your high needle is too rich and will need to be leaned in very tiny increments until you achieve nice high rpms. A mini tachometer cane help you with a lot to show you if you are going in the right direction or not! Happy brapping to ya bro! Have a great day . I hope that helps ya
thank you big help@@eastsiderc
Thanks Bud!
Hey man, you are absolutely welcome. I hope you’re having a great day.
I need help bro ,, I’m trying
Practice makes perfect bro !
I just installed mine and the Master Cylinder stuck in closed position it will not retract back no matter how I tried pulling it back.
Master Cylinder? Did you comment on the wrong video broham? Are you speaking of hydraulic brakes?
Sorry!I replied to a wrong video,Yes it’s the Hydraulic Brakes.
Its okay bro I do it all the time lol. Mom too 🤣🤣! Man Im sorry to hear about your brakes maybe its hydro locked. I noticed my buddies moves really hard. I feel like its more of novelty than a working set up. I guess I will find out! Try unscrewing the fluid container and cleaning it out , it maybe like hydro locked.
👍
OOOOOOH !!!! I got questions !!!! 😄😵💫😄😵💫
I got answers brother ask away!!
@@eastsiderc is there a theory to how much you adjust the low needle as to how much you would move the high , I'm really having troubles getting my Taylor 35 to take off like it should with stock gearing in my VEKTA5
will you pray for me and sometimes I feel like ending my life cuz I'm having a hard time overcoming my porn addiction and my lust and I just think God knows I'm not able to be saved because God don't answer my prayers
Well brother dont ever think about ending your life man. Nothing is ever ever worth killing yourself over. Its simply not worth it. None of us are perfect. We all fall short of Gods glory Romas 3:23 NKJV never loose hope man. Keep on trying to turn your cheek to it. I used to have bad addictions and I was able to overcome them with the power of Jesus’s acceptance of Love and Grace. We cant buy it we cant earn it its freely given bro. Free !! If you have asked Jesus into your heart and you are saved then you are saved plain and simple! Your spirit is Saved from your flesh’s past present and future sins. Its not a free ticket to sin there will be consequences but just try to do your best man! Im not at all perfect by any means but my spirit is because I accepted Jesus therefore I have His perfect Spirit within me. When you learn how to harness that you will get a renewing of your mind bro and you wont wanna do the things your doing now and you will simply turn away from your sin. These things dont happen over night. Its like a seed when its planted there is time and a process that brings forth the plant that is to be. Dont give up. Dont loose hope. Life is beyond worth living! Jesus loves you man! That’s enough to live for. ! I will pray 🙏 for you homie! Never ever ever loose hope! You belong to Jesus the Father of Love and Truth not satan the father of lies and deceit!
I know I shouldn't think about ending my life and that's true none of us are perfect and I am trying not to lose hope and I already said the Salvation prayer but how do you know if you believe it with your heart and sometimes I can go with a few days without watching porn and I will try my hardest to not give up and I know Jesus loves me and I understand what you are saying and I want to thank you for praying for me and I've been playing Diablo 4 but some people say it's demonic or is there certain games you don't post the play
