IN real life Nao actually did run that robot over in car so this was recreation. Im waiting for them to do something that strikes me terribly funny so you can blame them at moment lol.

I know haha, more of a programmer then film guy but learning. In the early days like the car and drone video, other then some scripted lines I just ran the camera when I had a great idea and see what happens. But you can only have so many robot stunts so you are right should work on cinematography and story more now. Thanks Neil!

I’d love to have a neo but idk anything about programming and I don’t think I’ll be ever getting one due to the cost. What kind of robot could you suggest me? You are so nice, thank you. I suppose few people know of our videos as we don't promote them much. I am ok with that as we have never in 3 years had a bad comment. Everyone is so intelligent and nice. As for a robot, out of the box Cozmo is amazing and does so much. For programming they have a very friendly interface for that. It is basically drag and drop but it allows you to grow with ever complex programs if you wish. Out of the box Nao does not do much, its painstaking work, so you aren't missing much. Cozmo knows a cat or dog when he sees them, and Cozmos company is keeping this pet recognition close to the breast, no other robot can simply recognize a dog or cat like that. Nao can recognize Gracie, but only Gracie and not as efficiently as Cozmo knows he sees a cat or dog. Nao only recognizes Gracie because I taught Nao after loading like 20 images of her from every angle. So if I were you I would give Cozmo a shot. Yes he is missing arms and hands but hand eye coordination in Nao is still in infancy, you wouldn't be missing much with Cozmo over Nao and you dont have to mortgage your house for him.

I was part of the robots developer program years ago, thats now been abolished. But I got him for less then half the price they pay now. However you can get him from Robot Labs in the USA
He just got here. I know we have been terrible at getting something out, but our last video was a disaster and Cozmo, Nao and myself are still looking for trouble for next vid
Beware of older model, they are on ebay now but the company doesn't repair them anymore. I think there are cool robots coming like Loomo and the new Aibo that you dont have to teach and program so much like Nao.

Thanks! I actually got my degree in business but self taught myself robotics since 2001. Robotics is without a doubt the key to the future for careers. As more jobs are replaced by them, more people will be needed to build, program and repair them. I really don't think you can go wrong in any category. I would pick whatever one you think is the funnest and be the most interesting for you, be it software, hardware or development

If I may,to, clarify,you program NAO/Cosmo etc. As a hobby or as of your self-taught venture into robotics(Bravo:)) have you switched to robotics as you field of study/professional focus from business ventures? I am simply curious as I was thinking of study mechatronics or Electronic engineering(this is what I seem to enjoy from my limited experience) and aim to enter into the field as you already know. I cannot lie that NAO(and its advancements)was very inspiring for me to enter this field and so to find a dedicated channel(one of very very few) that is consistent and of a high quality would be very “motivational” for a lack of Better terms for my succeeding studies so a little context would provide some perspective. I completely agree that robotics and AI/Machine learning(which go hand-in-hand) are the future.The future surely seems bright! Thank you for the work and effort you put into these videos and I can assure you that you have definitely played a part in inspiring me to enter robotics.I’m sure you have inspired countless others and please never stop doing what you do! @Shabeo, you can buy NAO at RobotLab.com for $6000. But if that’s too much for you they also sell used robots (that are literally brand new because they were used ONLY by the company). Just go to the live chat support service and ask for the price of the new ones. - I got a used NAO V4 that only costed $3000.
If you can code the 1st Line of code in the NAO robot then place my system debug code listed here in it: .. .. . Force = [F=m(2385)]; ....... RUN the code through as any other line in the ROS. This code makes the SOST run correctly.
