Your Korea series was a lot of fun to watch. I've seen a lot of youtubers who complain a lot about inconveniences or things they don't like about the place they are visiting. You both are very positive and have a refreshing way of focusing on what makes a place unique. I hope you get to see Korea during cherry blossom season one day:).
I have heard and seen dozens of Squarespace commercials from my favorite bloggers, but yours was the BEST. Hysterical. Memorable. It made me want to start a site. Thinking about it.
I enjoyed watching so much of your trip to Korea. Hope your future trips will be great as well. I think Turkey (Turkiye) would be perfect place for next trip.
Fantastic list. Both of you trying to ask each other how to pronounce Korean words is funny! LOL! It's like the blind leading the blind. By the way, Makgeolli is pronounced "Muck - gall - lee". Not perfect but close enough. Thanks for your video and I'm glad Korea made such a great impression on you guys.
Fabulous videos as always! You have shown your viewers so much. We are all beyond lucky. Can never say thank you enough as to how you are showing me the world!!!
Loved your vlog during your two trips to Korea! You two are very lovely couple and I'm so glad you had a great time. I'm also visiting Korea this October and will try to visit some of the places you've been to. thank you again : )
I've also enjoyed all the places in Korea you guys have been during this trip. The captain Josh at the ferry and Lisa enjoying at the Kpop festival also drinking Makgeoli in Jeonju etc., It was so nice to see you guys enjoying Korea and Korean cultures. Thank you so much for sharing. I've really enjoyed all the uploads. I hope you guys would come back to Korea when you can. All the best, 🙂
OMG I'm so happy you guys got to experience the Seoul City Wall hike. I feel like it's not very much talked about by tourists, but it definitely is such a cool experience to do it IN THE MIDDLE OF A GIGANTIC CITY
agreed!! we loved it and were amazed that it's not talked about more! Josh first found the city wall hike after looking at the trails on Jeju Island, actually!!
"Ikseondong hanok village" pronunciation is awsome haha thank you for making video that introduces korea and i really enjoyed yours haha 🥰 cant wait for another clips too💙
I really hope you come back to Korea :') you really seem to love and appreciate it. there are so many places/areas I wanna rec you that is different from what you've done so far, and at the same time I feel like it would be something you'd really appreciate and see the beauty of. so far, thank you for an amazing series I often rewatch to soothe my Korea longing, and hopefully you'll be back :D also, I think you should just keep calling your bbq place Smiley's, cos technically the place is called Bakdaepo Salt(ed) Grill (박대포 소금구이) which doesn't roll off the tongue quite the same lol
Dear Lisa & Josh: my wife & enjoyed many of your wonderful video blogs for the past year. We particularly enjoyed your postings on Santiago de Compostela (the Walk) and most recently your stay in South Korea. We are Korean American & we are currently traveling in South Korea. We spent 5 days in Goeje island (southwest of Busan) & had really wonderful experience there. If you have not visited Goeje island, we would definitely recommend several things to do there including Goeje Panorama Cable Car to the top of the highest mountain with panoramic view of surrounding islands. Because of Typhoon Hinnamnor passing thru the area last week, we decided not to try boat trip to Oedo Island & its botanical garden, but that is on my list next time.
thank you for the kind words! your trip through Korea sounds wonderful. Geode island looks beautiful--will definitely have to return to visit. Buen Camino :)
This is a great list! I paused it so many times so I could mark places on the map for our upcoming trip (including smiley BBQ, thanks to the helpful phone number for the next door business! 😉). Thank you!
9:48 I feel like what you meant to say is "there is no wrong way, and there are many right ways" to do that hike. Anyways, I like the sound of that, so I'm seriously considering adding the Seoul City Wall Trail to my itinerary.
I was curious as to how long you spent in Korea. (Thanks for answering it in the first few seconds.) You guys and your videos are great, they're always filled with so much interesting information.
Too bad you're leaving. A lot of us wished you would stay. Anyways, I'd like to post the below again for those who visit Korea. tldr: Makgeolli is pronounced MAHK-GUH-LEE. It's not mak-geh-oh-lee. The vowel EO is pronounced as UH. For example, Seoul is pronounced SUH-OOL. ------------ Here's a quick lesson for everyone on pronouncing vowels (generally) for romanized Korean words, so that the locals don't misunderstand you: eo = uh (up) u = oo (moon) i = ee (eat) a = ah (hot) ae = eh (bet, not bay) e = eh (bet) o = oh (short oh, not long; no is noh, not know) eu = schwa vowel (as in "good") won = won (same as the english word, not wahn) Therefore, Yeosu is pronounced Yuh-soo. Seoul is Suh-ool (yes...Seoul is a two-syllable word). Haeundae Beach is Heh-oon-deh. Namsan Tower is Nahm-sahn. Myeongdong is Myuhng-dohng or Myoung-dohng. Itaewon is Ee-teh-won, not It-tay-wahn. I hope this helps. Safe travels...
Makgeolli should rather be pronounced mahk-girly. It is not the exact way to pronounce it, but for Americans, it will be easy to pronounce, and Koreans will understand what you are saying.
Go back and do a hike during Autumn when the leaves are changing colors. Ur minds will be blown.
September? October?
I truly have enjoyed the entire series of your times here. Thanks a lot!!! 😉
Same here... Wish it wouldn't end!
Thank you for coming along! We hope to come back soon!! ☺️☺️☺️
I've been to South Korea multiple times but haven't done the Seoul City Walk. Looking forward to returning and doing that :)
it's such a great way to see Seoul! We think the best :)
This is the best list of things to do in Korea.

I think that's a great #1 for this list. Few things top the feeling of seeing Seoul from above, plus wonderful nature and eats along the way!
I have heard and seen dozens of Squarespace commercials from my favorite bloggers, but yours was the BEST. Hysterical. Memorable. It made me want to start a site. Thinking about it.
I am glad to hear from you guys that you've enjoyed the stay in Korea.
I hope you to have a safe trip back home and thanks for loving Korea.
Thank you so much!!
What an amazing 2 months! Thanks for taking us along. I'm still SO JEALOUS of #2. Been to Korea several times and never managed to go to a KPOP show.

한국에서 멋진 관광 하셨네요! 두분 모두 건강하게 여행하세요!

The sad part is korean bbq is only cheap in Korea and expensive everywhere else in the world.
That is very true.. and oh so sad!
It's not that expensive in the US. But there's tip thing u hav to deal with.

thank you for teaching us all!!
Where would you like to travel to next???😁😁😁
So many places we still want to visit!! Nepal, India, Peru, Japan, Vietnam, Scotland, Norway, so many countries!! So hard to pick
Where are you going next stillin Asia?
we are planning to travel through Europe a little bit and then back to Asia :)
Warning!!! Specially People who do not understand Korean in S.Korea. A dangerous Typhoon is getting closer to S.Korea. Please take care yourself.
That typhoon area is the southern tip of Korea.
💖💖💖💖👍👍👍👏👏

Where did you stay when you were on the wall hike?
It’s mak o Lee
Not mak ee o lee
