Loved the pesky monkeys, and those food courts! Nothing wrong in revisiting your favourite haunts. We've been doing that for years every time we go to Stockholm - the city feels like an old friend every time we visit.
You guys must try Malaysia's signature burger called Ramly Burger, definitely different from the western burgers you've been eating. The special ones probably cost you around USD 2 bucks after conversion, worth trying !!
The only time I saw a macaque snatched someone’s food was at the Rainforest Music Festival in Kuching. 😅 The beast was fast as lightning! Giving the RMF a miss this year…

When we visited Batu caves the stairs were still plain and also at the top in the cafe they didn't have the markets.
