Amazing video! Is there ways of trigger email based on PBI data change? Say, if I have a measure and threshold. Once the threshold is reached, an email sent out to user to let them check PBI report. Appreciate!
Can we send the email with report as a pdf attachment with the dynamic selection of date range.i.e, when customer selects a particular date range and runs the flow weather he get the data of selected date range or he get default report which is available in the service.

Hi Love the video, I have a question So what if I want the email to include a screenshot of a daily report summary that i want to share at the end of each day with the team ? Please help
This is great. Can we also Automate weekly data extraction from power bi table and append it directly to an excel file maintained in SharePoint List..?

Hi I have a similar process but every time my users try to use the Send Email button that triggers an email to their staff, the flow shows unsuccessful but when I do it, it works. Are there specific permissions required for users to use this functionality?
HI @Enterprise DNA, Great Video, thanks for sharing. Also I have a question. What's the minimum requirement in terms of license to perform this, do we need premium in both Power BI and Power Automate to do this?
Hi Suliman, Thank you for posting your query onto our channel. We really appreciate you taking your valuable time to post it. And therefore we encourage you to please write back to us onto our Community Forum by providing the proper description of the problem that you're facing along with the PBIX file for the reference as well as the mock-up results that you're trying to achieve where our members as well as experts team will be able to assist you in a better and efficient manner. Thank you very much! I was inspired by your video and tried to send emails from powerbi using powerautomate I have followed up the same steps, but when I try to run the flow I get an error message. Invalid table : Null (foreach step) . Any advice plz ?
Great video! Thanks for the content, a huge fan of Enterprise DNA! I have a query, if i have several mails in the table for different categories, can i add send only one email with all the data or table?
How can I sort column depending on a column object. While I am sending a mail with the button table is sorted with Date, but I want to sort it with Source.
Can the flow run without the need to click on "run flow" button in power bi?... Meaning when i publish the dashboard for each lines in my data, they get an email without the need to trigger the flow?
Hi , as I followed your steps .when I tried to run the flow I'm getting this error: "The input body for trigger 'manual' of type 'Request' did not match its schema definition. Error details: 'Required properties are missing from object: entity.'."
Can anyone tell me how to do this with automate? Thanks! I have power bi table with 7 columns and hundreds of rows: ‘code’ column, ‘description’ column, ‘quantity’ column, ‘total value’ column, ‘owners’ column, ‘manager’ column, and ‘functional managers’ column. I need to send the table by email to each owner, manager, and functional manager, but only with the rows relevant to them. The rows for owners, manager, and functional manager are populated with their email addresses. Please note that there can be more than one owner (multiple email addresses in the same row).
Instead of incrementing RecordCount at 13:40, can't you just use an expression like length(Power BI data), so you don't have to loop through all of them? No need to neither initialize a new variable nor loop over and increment.
I can't get this to do anything, the button does not trigger and it refuses to run without clicking the Run button also, failing due to not having the data. dose anyone have any solutions to debugging and getting this kind of process to work?
Hi, I cannot use the dynamic "User Email", it gives me an error "input parameter ' emailMessage/To' is required to be of type 'Sting/email'. The runtime value '"anNvbWt1bEBhY2N1cmF0ZS10aS5jb20="' to be converted doesn't have the expected format 'string/email'. Can you please give me suggestions on how to fix this problem? People keep telling me to make sure it is in the correct type, but this is not what I can change. it should automatically pull from the user email from whoever clicks the Power BI button. thank you for your help in advance
@@basictalent1 I figure out that it's a permission issue. I don't have a right to send the email on other's behalf (as you are the owner of the flow). So, my workaround is sending emails from the group email, my email, or if you are not the main contact then add that person's credential to the flow (go to the step and edit from there) and send it from that person's email. So whoever triggers the flow, the email will send out from the email I set with the disclaimer at the end of the email.
Well, this is not automatically sending emails, since you have a button as a trigger. Automatic emails would be triggered off of a value and conditions. good try though
I guess it would be nice have to conditions to pick up from data (example, send emails to users who have "Yes" in a column named "Own a Car") and send emails to all users with a push of a button!
I have a huge problem with this kind of a flow. When I share such a flow it always send and email from my mailbox. I would like it to be sent from a person who initializes the flow in BI Service.
This video literally is the best!! Greetings from the netherlands

This is the same question I want to address. Is there another video addressing it yet ?
Same here, looking a solution.
Do I need to do anything to the data set as my power automate isn't coming up with whatever my version of "Power BI data Actual Email" ?
Thanks for your video, does this require a pro licence ?

Can this technique be used to notify consumers of a Power BI Report that their report has been updated
Thank you very much! I was inspired by your video and tried to send emails from powerbi using powerautomate I have followed up the same steps, but when I try to run the flow I get an error message. Invalid table : Null (foreach step) . Any advice plz ?
How can you give every email a refrence number. For example (first email you send gets a subject number 001 and the second email 002 third 003 etc
Great video! Thanks for the content, a huge fan of Enterprise DNA! I have a query, if i have several mails in the table for different categories, can i add send only one email with all the data or table?
Thanks!!😊
Can I send, for example, tables with the data of a selected customer only in this way?
Yes, you can add the filter that affect all the page and run flow, it only willl be send it to the selected filters.
