In the summer of 2000, I flew to this airport to merely catch a connecting back to Ontario Intl. Airport in C.A. after returning from a one-week's vacation in Orlando,Florida . However, I actually flew to Atlanta,G.A. in August of 2010 to visit my older sister who lives in Stone Mountain,G.A. This airport is both awesome and huge! Brings back memories from two years ago. Great video!
Great airport, if u ever go to Miami intl, go to the top of the hotel that is in the airport they have a BOMB ass restauraunt and to top it off a view of the entire airport, nothing better then eating good food and watching planes!
@airplanegod The China Airlines is strictly cargo (no passenger service)..I believe Air France is a code share partner. There is only a few foreign carriers that serve Atlanta. Kind of odd given the size and passenger movements of the airport..SFO where I live has five times the number of foreign carriers and only 1/3 of the passenger movements of Hartsfield..Though SFO does have a larger amount of International passenger movements.
I have a question....how is that the engines of some of those airplanes are still so close to the wing......I just saw in National Geograpic in their program aerial disasters an accident where one of the engines went off from the wing when the plane was taking off , causing damage on the wing and killing everyone on board when the plane crashed.....since then they gave the order to change the way the engines are placed in the wing..idk guys if u understand me( sry for my english second language
@boredyoman yeahh...exactly!...( the pylon thing...i forgot that word so i couldnt explain well =D )....yeah they were talking about the pylon usage and so they gave the order to change the way it is manufactured....now it is supposed to be different
@HitsTownUSA Yeah, but with the acquisition of NWA, they now how the most types of of any airline, with the exception of B717's (Which they are rumored they may get if Southwest get's rid of them when they take over AirTran to replace the DC-9's) and MD-11's (Which they use to have)
I appreciate the video you uploaded for all to see, but I must say that Atlanta is one of the most boring airports to plane spot..It's 90% Delta for petes sake.

You should sell some of those clips to the news agencies. You know, when they need various video clips for news stories/reports.
