We just left a dealer last Saturday with our old Durango. The high price in conjunction with Dodge de-contenting the truck drove us away. Here's what was left out we noticed; I'm sure there's more, the fairly useless but handy flashlight in the back, Lane keep assist, fog lights and engine cover. To get the lane keep which wasn't available on our 2015 would have required another $12,000 for the R/T PREMIUM package, it's not in the PLUS package, WTF is that about? We're headed into retirement and would like something newer with more features, but there's nothing wrong with the old one save approaching 100,000 miles and needing that service of new spark plugs and PCV valve. Our dealer we've had very good luck with for some 30 years has been sold to a knot head. Those things PLUS having no confidence in the future of Stellantis drove us away. But yeah we’re doing great with this record contract! I pay $100 a month in union dues for a crock of shit lies and false promises! For the first time in 18 years im considering pulling my dues and i hope everyone else that wasnt brought into this union by a referral with not enough knowledge of what it stands for wakes up and pulls their dues too! Im sick of paying money into this union for you guys to allow so many loopholes in the contract! Make specific bulletin points to avoid these loopholes! Get a better group of lawyers to help draw up these damn contracts cause they know loopholes better than you people!
Just admit International screwed up with the local 1166 2/3 vote. You decided to have you strike authorization vote when a good majority of the plant was on a layoff and it was Fall Break for the family’s with children.
A corporation has a fiduciary responsibility to it's shareholders otherwise why invest in it? With that said as we know most management at corporations are incompetent. The other problem is the unions are also mismanaged. Workers and the public get screwed as usual. The problem with the US auto market is the US dollar has lost about 30% of it's buying power since 2010 because of inflation. Added to that is interest rates plus stealership markups and scams. I like my jeep and Ram pickup but actually had two people at our local stealership arrested because they changed the terms of my wife's lease AFTER she signed it. Luckily the bank caught it. This is why I won't be buying Jeep or Ram again even though the large corporation that owns the local dealership did make everything right and I got my Warlock at cost and her jeep below cost so we wouldn't sue. EV's are not going to sell well iin my state so it will be a loss if they go this route so focusing their future on EVs is just dumb and short sided. People complain about a 70k pickup but 70k USD today was 50k USD in 2010 and the vehicles today are much nicer. A guy at work bought a new FULLY loaded Warlock 5.7 with full tow package for 42k and that would have been 30k back in 2010. Not bad at all if you ask me.

OUR PEOPLE DEPEND ON IT. I THANK GOD EVERYDAY I AM HAPPILY RETIRED.
The problem is we can’t buy American anymore. The cost of every product coming from DJCR is so ridiculously overpriced, The average American can no longer afford it.
You mean like the Chargers with the Mexican made engines and German made transmissions? Or the Dodge/Ram trucks made in Mexico? Lol. My wifes 2017 Hyundai was made in Alabama and her Tesla was made in Texas.
Pay cuts from the top down. Not only Stellantis but all of the big 3. U.A.W. Gonna have to be willing to concede on wages as well. If consumers are going to buy products produced by the big 3, prices need to come out of the stratosphere. 80k for a jeep is just crazy. Better wake up boys n girls. Will not be any products American made unless costs are reduced.

We are an auto sub plant but have been told since there is republican legislation in office the state of kansas unemployment wont except spreadsheets from GM to generate our unemployment to generate our auto sub pay. We now for the first time ever are required to submit applications and provide proof of searching for work once a week! Our temps just got screwed out of profit sharing too that was promised to them. Management works on the line every single day! This friday they were all terminated as well as multiple local parts plants that supply us parts closed down and put hundreds of workers out! I get told constantly management is allowed to work on the line and repair cars because it’s deemed “emergency situation”!
Lol sounds like dumb planning
Stop making overpriced garbage.
Good. News! Can I get back to my tools on Monday?
Get rid of the EV mandate. Drill baby drill
The USA is currently the largest producer of oil in history. Also oil in America is drilled by businesses not the government.
We don’t want to strike unless international gonna get strike pay of $500 too and not your salary pay..
Is there anything to shut down besides SHAP and Mopar🤦🏾♂️
Ford and GM are not doing fine
Gold in the poster
Im a 685 member for 31 years and all i have to say is , if you would have explained all of this over a month ago to let the people at kokomo casting plant onow 5hat you would not hsve striked over the Holidays because They are young with no benefits ( because past UAW crooks gave them away ) they were scared of not giving there kids annive Christmas.
If you would have waited until after January 1st your outcome vote would have been better ...
We will back 5he UAW but timing is everything, and if President Trump does move our emissions back to the 80's so we can make all of the cars and trucks that the people wont , we will be back to making All of the vehicles we possibly can.
Thank You Brian Luttrell 685....
FACTS !! 💯
International negotiates contracts...
READ THE FINE PRINT AND SOLIDIFY OUR JOBS, PERIOD. That's on YOU...!!!
Welcome to Capitalist Corporate America.. the CEO is having a hard time living on $600,000.00 per week
Another union victory. Priceless.
Build a 20000 car for people
I’d be afraid to sit in it if they’re charging 40k up for this junk out now
Stand strong. Don't give up
I'm a retired parts supplier and I can't afford a new truck. Not even a cab and a half stripped down.
$ 16 to 20 can't afford $ 40 to 50 dollars products .
Unless the lower middle class gets a good raise , you guys have priced yourself out of a job.
And yes I'm a union man
Local 2373 which was shut down in 2022 .
My opinion it is punitive. Stellantis doesn’t care about its workers.
😊 stallantis is so full of SHIT, I bought Two new ones this year, 24 durango srt, and a 24 Pacifica Road tripper. What has happened, the dealerships have driven up prices and the banks aren't giving rates below 7.5% with 800 credit scores. People I put my money where my mouth is,, BUY AMERICAN.
7.5% my god, what are you financing at 87 months lol. Local credit unions at 4.75% all day.
You mean like the Chargers with the Mexican made engines and German made transmissions? Or the Dodge/Ram trucks made in Mexico? Lol. My wifes 2017 Hyundai was made in Alabama and her Tesla was made in Texas.
@@tabbott429It is simply Ram trucks, Dodge has had zero to do with the production of the 4th and 5th Gen.
@@tabbott429you need to really do a deep dive on that as it may be built in those states but the percentage of parts to build it.. 😉
UAW wanted their fair share now that they are getting their fair share during bad times they are complaining
Poster is navy pills
do you want a disgruntled cook make your food?
Justify a $90,000 pick up truck….. a $$95,000 jeep and $80,000 Dodge charger that’s two years old sitting on a lot that’s brand new…
You pushed the company over the edge. You demanded wages and benefits which are too high. You will force the company into bankruptcy!!
Stop putting anti union people in the bargaining unit
Pay cuts from the top down. Not only Stellantis but all of the big 3. U.A.W. Gonna have to be willing to concede on wages as well. If consumers are going to buy products produced by the big 3, prices need to come out of the stratosphere. 80k for a jeep is just crazy. Better wake up boys n girls. Will not be any products American made unless costs are reduced.
Broken record what we gonna do about it
Stellantis cars suck. I am glad someone believes they are good.
💪 UNION STRONG ! 🇺🇸🏆
Y’all ruined it yourself at the same time as market conditions, as well as stellantis being trash…
Stellantis has a ton of money and connections to switch their labor out of America… they could care less… especially right now.. nothing is selling.
Bye Felicia
Well said !!!! 💪☝️✌️
So much for gains when you job goes away, thx. Stellantis cant even take free $$$ from joe in timely fashion .. enjoy
Good luck with that
No trust......period. we we're screwed with the last contract.
Striking doesn't mean walking off the line completely, it also means International can step in to help locals. Read your contract. Maybe why local officers are mostly company folks.
Where's that big mouth useless president
Mitsubishi mitsubishi or better cars and price right for people every day worker and great warranty
Upper management has only been out for the shareholders. Face it, the quality lacks and the prices are ridiculous. Corporate billionaires are ecstatic for trump, Unions are going to suffer. 😢
Really!? Have you looked at the last years stock performance? It makes American Airlines look good, and it SUCKS.
The sky is falling sir…
Its over johnny
The dealerships
This would've been so much better if it was without the cue cards and more so of regular flowing message..... Still the message has been delivered...
Break away from Stellantis.
Blah Blah
People of Belvidere should at least have the option to temporarily transfer before the layoffs. It's ridiculous it's been 4 years with no pension credits or a raise for sub pay still off of last contract while some are off of two contracts ago. Something needs to be done.
GM has this issue too with transferring to other plants/closures as well
@ncoutdoorgirl70 it's just sad. I heard the company was hiring full timers for Stellantis in Kokomo.
Please dont strike in Michigan 😮❤, its Illinois problem fam😊
This is more then an IL problem, This is a 5 billion and 400million dollar problem that should have gone to THE PEOPLE, EVERYONE. If they weren't going to open IL then 5 billion could have went into everyone's pocket so if you're happy about not making more money an hour then you must be the only one!
@@TonyCavallaro-q9f tell'em Tony!
You think it’s just an IL problem??? If you think they wont do to you what they did to us, you are delusional. Toledo didnt think it would happen to them either. We have to stand together and fight. The fight is not just about Belvidere, or the Durango, or Toledo, it’s a fight FOR ALL OF STELLANTIS WORKERS!
You are piece of sh!t, I took the buyout after they closed belvedere, to me the writing was on the wall, has been since Stellantis bought us, one layoff after another like clockwork until the doors were shut. To call this just an Illinois problem means you are in denial, and that... will come back to bite you.
Getter Done. Fuck that company. Make it pay the working class
So sorry ❤ ,hire the Temps back😅
Strike !!
We should go on strike now!
