Before this Bad boys, in the early 80s there was another Bad Boys movie, with Sean Penn as a juvenile criminal sentenced to time in one of the most difficult prisons, for youngsters, in America. And the show MASH, which was named after the 71 movie Mash, with Donald Sutherland had what is probably one of the difficult songs, ever, to listen to, even with it being profound. Suicide Is Painless did have lyrics that were cut off as the show progressed.
I'm m 40 there's a lot of iconic movies I haven't seen some will shock you. It's different back then access to movies was different it's popular now because of reaction channels
💯 90s was too awesome!! Best Bad Boys...dont @ me!!! Michael Bay totally hated the script and allowed Martin and Will to improvise most of the film, especially the trust fund car scene..a showcase of their pure talent...
Max's death at 16:59 still gets to me till this day; Karen Alexander was absolutely fantastic as Max Logan. The look in her eyes just tells you she was about to die. And to top it off, Julie, her best friend, witnessed her murder. This movie builds tension amazingly.
26:49 Thry actually made a movie based on being “Like Mike,” called “Like Mike,” starring a very young Lil Bow Wow. If you like basketball, it’s a great movie.
Y'all I remember when this movie came out it was a big deal. Martin Lawrence and Will Smith were both on hit sitcoms (Martin and Fresh Prince of Bel Air respectively) so seeing them on a big budget action movie was big news at the time!
Not the Cops song!! 😂😂 This is the foundation of this movie franchise !! 😂 I used to watch it with my mama! 🤣 Michael Bay is a beast with this franchise!!
I remember Michael Bay saying that the script was so awful that he told Will Smith and Martin Lawrence to just improvise the dialogue. Also, Bad Boys II is one of the rare occasions where the sequel is just as good as, if not better than, the original. Y'all better watch it!
Nah, the first one is the most serious, most gritty and most darkest whereas the rest just feel like your standard buddy-cop comedy flicks. It's like the Matrix; the original is always the best hahaa.
The first and 3rd are the best. The second to me is atrocious - too big, too loud and too long. If they’d done some more editing it would’ve worked better. There are moments of course but I felt like the ending lasted forever.
The main Villain in this movie reminded me of another movie where the same guy plays the villain that y'all shld definitely check out. . "Kiss of the Dragon" with Jet lee. . A great, badass martial arts action film.
The film's intro at 8:45 is just absolutely amazing; With the Miami sunset and cinematography of the city's skyline, along with Mark Mancina's score, you knew you were in for a wild ride watching this movie.
My stepbrother who is Jamaican didn't even know the words to the Cops theme🤣 I figured them out back in the 90's so here yall go: Nobody nah give you no break (bre-eakk) Police man nah give ya no break Oh oh soldier man nah give ya no break Not even ya idren(brethren) man nah give you no break hey hey! bad boys bad boys whatcha gonna do... This was funny! Edit: I edited my spelling so that removed the heart, but thanks! Love you guys!
And yup, this movie got Tig from SOA in the cold opening, and Christopher from “The Sopranos” as the boys’ informant Jojo! Definitely well before “The Sopranos”…
18:32 It was Al Capones “actual” house that he lived in, And when he came home from jail from income tax invasion the pool that that girl jumped in, Capone used to try an catch fish in it after he lost his mind from an extreme case of syphilis before he eventually died from it..
This is such an amazing action crime movie! The composed score was made by Mark Mancina (who did the score for Speed [1994] starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock), it was directed by Michael Bay and grossed over $140 million dollars worldwide. The acting from all 3 leads, including Will Smith, Martin Lawrence and Tea Leoni, is just impeccable. The first film in particular is always the most special and stands out from the rest of the franchise. The first movie, released in 1995, is the most gritty, most serious and most darkest out of the franchise, whereas the other films feel like buddy-cop comedies with not nearly as enough serious moments. Highly recommend the rest of the films, especially the 2003 sequel, but the first film is by far the best!
Yeah, I remember COPS. I watched it on reruns though. I had a roommate in the Army who was addicted to it. And he would get pumped every time it came on. We'd break out the Mad Dog and crank up COPS.
Fun fact: The MASH theme was an instrumental of a song by Johnny Mandel called Suicide is Painless. It actually does have lyrics. I think it would be cool if Asia and BJ reacted to it.
Love this and love y’all! Please make sure you do the second one. Martin has so many funny parts in it.” That’s a nice fish. Big fuckin’ eyes. But a nice fuckin’ fish”😂That’s always my favorite part😂😂 Much love❤️
Me and my friend were huge fans of Martin and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. We said it would be so cool for them to do a movie together and about a month later we seen the first trailer for this movie. We watched this in the theater like 4 times. Also, I later found out that the last airport scene was filmed about 15 minutes from my house.
There's 3 more Bad Boys movies. Bad Boys 2, Bad Boys For Life, and Bad Boys Ride or Die. They are ALL good and you will enjoy every one. And Bad Boys 2 has the craziest shoot out, car chase ever filmed.
The one actor that I think everyone misses is the guy that plays “Wild Bill” Guarnere from The Band of Brothers series. He plays the bad guy that gets blown out of the plane.
Great reaction. Yall have always made me feel old until now. When you mentioned MASH...I thought, well, maybe I can let them in the club. LMAO. Love yall ❤.
You’d be surprised at how many movies ppl haven’t watched. When I was younger I wasn’t really a “movie watcher” so it’s tons of movies I haven’t seen either
I saw this in theaters when it first came out, loved it. Par 1 and 2 are my favorites and like every kid and adult growing up in the 90's we did watch COPS and still watch reruns to this day lol.
Yes yall need to watch all of them all 4 Bad Boys films are great, for me personally it peaked at 2….but it’s fair to say aswell as people here would agree the 3rd and 4th movie are great aswell….but at that point yall dealing with Martin & Will in there 50’s by the 3rd film cause they didn’t make the 3rd and 4th films until almost 20 years after Bad Boys 2 and they became the highest grossing films out of the franchise with 3&4
They usually only do the chorus!! 🤣 bad boys bad boys!! Taught her how to drive a stick riiight 🤣 lol love yall! Why do gooood girls like bad guuuys! 🎵
Y'all cray cray with that intro lol. Nope don't like married with children, cheers I've watched some & my Daddy loved Mash. And yes I was raised in the ATL, used to watch cops. This is a great comedy action. Enjoyed watching y'all's reactions, was even more funny. Definitely watch the next one. Asia with her notorious phrase in the beginning "They didn't wait 5 minutes!!"😁 Enjoy the evening .. ❣️☺️
Nah. I don't believe FOR A SECOND that this is the first time BJ is watching Bad Boys
I literally said the same thing when I got the notification 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Same😂😂😂
LOL I gave the side eye
Doesn’t have a poker face for that….
Exactly 😂😂😂
Asia’s face at the beginning while BJ’s talking about introducing her to the bad boy lifestyle 😅😂
Yeah, she's like, "Where are you going with this...?"
y'all gotta watch the next 3 movies they're all really good
are there not 5? the "new one" and then the newer one?
@Belnick6666 just four. Bad Boys, Bad Boys II, Bad Boys For Life and Bad Boys Ride or Die.
Stop after Bad Boys 2
Bad Boys II is awesome as well!
@@bravetitangrizzlyyou tripping lol
You guys should definitely watch Bad Boys 2. And while you're at it watch Point Break so you can watch Hot Fuzz.
39:51 “Not the paraplegic dream team” 😂
Love this movie. Can’t believe it’ll be 30 years old next year
Before this Bad boys, in the early 80s there was another Bad Boys movie, with Sean Penn as a juvenile criminal sentenced to time in one of the most difficult prisons, for youngsters, in America. No one reacts to Bad Boys with Sean Penn. It’s a great movie. Same with Taps.
I watch the Sean Penn one every time I see it
There's no way you guys never saw all these iconic movies growing up.
You're getting a thumbs up for the "Cheers" theme song!! 😂
Max's death at 16:59 still gets to me till this day; Karen Alexander was absolutely fantastic as Max Logan. The look in her eyes just tells you she was about to die. And to top it off, Julie, her best friend, witnessed her murder. This movie builds tension amazingly.
BJ saying he didn't watch Cheers then proceeds to sing the intro 😁
There are a lot of theme songs I know because my grandma watched certain shows when I played in the background lol
We all knew the intro song from Cops.
The Bad Boys theme song was originally Cops theme song youngin’🙋🏽♀️
Mash was DEFINITELY the song I remember when I knew it was time to go to bed as a kid 😅
How to say you’re Gen Z without saying you’re Gen z.
18:32 Asia its called the Al Capone Suite because it belonged to Al Capone
Fun fact: The tall "nerd" that cracks the computer system saying that what he is being asked to do is illegal is former NBA player John Salley
Really?
That's why what he said in 2 was funny to me
@@zeljkokaradzic7894 He played for the Lakers
@@lilrod20got his start with the bad boy pistons. Also played with MJ and the.Bulls
@anthonyanderson9303 oh I know the Lakers were the first team I thought of lol 🤣😆
26:49 Thry actually made a movie based on being “Like Mike,” called “Like Mike,” starring a very young Lil Bow Wow. If you like basketball, it’s a great movie.
How is this even remotely possible?! That movie has spawned 4 going on 5 movies!! 😂
“Man… You driving so slow you be driving Miss Daisy” ✋😂
Yes, you should definitely watch part 2. In my opinion, it's just as good as the first one.
Y'all I remember when this movie came out it was a big deal. Martin Lawrence and Will Smith were both on hit sitcoms (Martin and Fresh Prince of Bel Air respectively) so seeing them on a big budget action movie was big news at the time!

Also, Bad Boys II is one of the rare occasions where the sequel is just as good as, if not better than, the original. Y'all better watch it!
Thank GOD he did because the chemistry between the 2 of them was magic 👍😆
Nah, the first one is the most serious, most gritty and most darkest whereas the rest just feel like your standard buddy-cop comedy flicks. It's like the Matrix; the original is always the best hahaa.
I prefer the first one. It's darker.
The first and 3rd are the best. The second to me is atrocious - too big, too loud and too long. If they’d done some more editing it would’ve worked better. There are moments of course but I felt like the ending lasted forever.
@@adamtoronibyrne1086 It actually worked better that the first had a smaller budget as Bay did fast edits.
The main Villain in this movie reminded me of another movie where the same guy plays the villain that y'all shld definitely check out. . "Kiss of the Dragon" with Jet lee. . A great, badass martial arts action film.

It ACTUALLY was the FIRST reality show EVER
Post Script

I came here to see Bj's reaction to the club scene and Asia steals that moment :D
There's 4 Bad Boys movies now. Bad Boys, Bad Boys II, Bad Boys For Life, and Bad Boys Ride Or Die. Sure you'd enjoy them all!!
Has some of the most classic lines and scenes in any movie, I love this movie still to this day.
This is such an amazing action crime movie! Perfect chemistry, wrapped up in pure 90's action.

Dude you gotta learn the words
Lol they are the words to marcus and the rest of us😂😂😂😂🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
So glad you both are finally reacting to my favorite movie franchise!!
My favorite part of the show Cops is the ending of the introduction and they kick the kids pool over to find the suspect curled up hiding 😂😅😂
Mine is the blatant police brutality every episode 🤣🤣
@andrescrux 🤣🤣
@hbk-hotboy713 I still be watching 🤣 I know you do too
"Its wham bam thank you officer" for me! thx again for going oldschool guys, luv ya!
Bringing us back to the good ol days
“CHEERS “!🥂

Cheers! And Married w/ Children was some classics!
Yes! You guys have to watch Bad Boys 2!!! Loved the reaction!
Lyrics sang in the MASH movie. It's hauntingly beautiful.
Another fun fact: Mike Altman was 14 when he wrote the lyrics to MASH. I have a feeling you & @sjogre7789 know that 😉.
Bad boys is one of the best movie franchises I literally just watched the 4th one last night
🙌 Wu Tang, vorever
Yes I remember watching Cops and even in 2005-2006 they still showed the throw back reruns .
Fun little fact. The MASH theme did have lyrics. I used to have the sheet music for it and was fascinated that they did. Very sad lyrics.
Bad Boys II is even better imo. Hope yall watch that one soon ❤️ happy holidays beautiful people
10:22 “Are they breaking into a bank or…….?”
No ma’am, we’re breaking into a Dave & Busters.
Yall def need to watch the whole franchise it’s great!
Theme from MASH is. “Suicide is painless”.
The movie has lyrics, but the the the TV series is instrumental
Love this and love y’all! Please make sure you do the second one. Martin has so many funny parts in it.” That’s a nice fish. Big fuckin’ eyes. But a nice fuckin’ fish”😂That’s always my favorite part😂😂 Much love❤️
"Suicide is Painless" (theme from Mash) actually has lyrics, just not on the TV show theme version .
I'm Canadian and I grew up watching both cops and the Canadian version called to serve and protect
Me and my friend were huge fans of Martin and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. We said it would be so cool for them to do a movie together and about a month later we seen the first trailer for this movie. We watched this in the theater like 4 times. 😅 BJ is too smooth for Asia 😂 Love the energy and the reactions yall. Can't wait for yall reactions to the other three movies. ❤
Hey two of the guys from The Sopranos!! Christopher and obnoxious Ralphie!!
Good movie choice. The 2nd one is just as good too.
I've got another one for you - NEXT DAY AIR
EVERYBODY is in this movie from Debbie Allen to Mos Def 😂
This is a must see 💯
Yes, watch #2 immediately! It's better than the first one!
There actually are words to the MASH theme song. It’s actually very sad…check the original movie out and you will hear the lyrics.
Loved the throwback musical intro
I like bad boys but If you haven't seen The Rock then that needs to be your next reaction. Honestly the best movie ever made.
Yes, that was Tig from SOA, Kim Coates.
😅
..... that intro was classic ‼️👉😂
........
“That boy got smoked like a Newport short” 😂😂😂
Can't wait for part 2. Best movie of the franchise. Crazy action.
Great reaction. Yall have always made me feel old until now. When you mentioned MASH...I thought, well, maybe I can let them in the club. LMAO. Love yall ❤.
Yes!!!! Definitely react to the second one!!! It's my favorite.😩😩😍
Part two is one of the best action movies of all time.
Y’all have to watch all 4 of them they are really good🔥🔥
Great movie, and yes that is Tig from SOA, i believe one of his very early roles.
Just ended my shift
Now going to watch this treat 🙏🏽
YES, please watch all 3 Bad Boy Movies 🎬 😂
Omg. Both of y’all singing bad boys, had me rolling because you sounded like will and Martin in the movie.
You’d be surprised at how many movies ppl haven’t watched. When I was younger I wasn’t really a “movie watcher” so it’s tons of movies I haven’t seen either
One of the rare movies where the sequel may actually be better than the first.
You're going to love the second one
Hope you guys continue the Bad Boys series! Great reaction!
Hahaha "focused on all this scattered ass round here" one of fav lines in movie, one of best all time series of movies, 2 even better
Man yall on a roll bad santa, bad boys put these on yall list bad boys 2, All about the Benjamins, A thin line between love and hate. 😊😊
I grew up watching COPS, the animated series.
It's crime fighting time!
I saw this in theaters when it first came out, loved it. Par 1 and 2 are my favorites and like every kid and adult growing up in the 90's we did watch COPS and still watch reruns to this day lol.

This is definitely one of my top 10 movies of all time!! ❤❤
❤ The next one is 100X better! ❤
34:15 That part got such a HUGE laugh when I saw this opening weekend in 1995 when I was 13. 😂😂😂😂
"Whatchu gonna do, when sheriff John Brown comes for you." Is what you were missing at the beginning lol
The scene starting around 24mins into your clip, is one of the best, makes me laugh hard , every time.
Tchéky Karyo plays and excellent villain! Definitely check of "Kiss Of The Dragon!"
BJ: He got smoked like a Newport short! 😂😂
The second one is my favorite ❤
All of the Bad Boys movies are really good!
They usually only do the chorus!! 🤣 bad boys bad boys!! Taught her how to drive a stick riiight 🤣 lol love yall! Why do gooood girls like bad guuuys! 🎵
