I'm also a Sydney-sider looking to move to the Netherlands, so I have been watching all of your videos on repeat! Thanks for condensing the information so concisely - can't tell you how helpful this is. :)
Hello Leesa, would you like to film a video just about your work, how much time did it take to get comfortable with the new environment, how international is your team etc. And my main question how hard is to work as a project manager in the NL without speaking dutch.
Very similar to our situation in Ireland. Just got boosted and back on a hybrid WFH/office schedule. I do think the novelty of the commute and office will wear off pretty quickly!
Hopefully this is not too random as a question but I was wondering if you regretted getting a furnished place or if you really loved it? We are very torn about this because we are currently looking for places as well, but we wanted an unfurnished place to add our own "character" I guess (also we have a small dog.. oops). Perhaps you could make a video talking a little bit about why you made that choice and if you're planning on moving any time soon to get your "own" place? Love your videos!!! We are hooked :D
Not a random question at all! I think it really depends on the type of person you are. My husband and I love living in a furnished place. we find it liberating to not be held back by “things” the way we were in Australia. But we also both don’t care too much about interior decorations/material possessions 😅 We did have some moments when we wished we could have different pieces of furniture though. For instance we hated the couch, and recently decided to buy our own and very kindly ask our landlord to store it away. She was super nice about it and let us do this… so I think you can still ask for some adjustments in a furnished apartment but within reason :) this is a great video idea and I will definitely try to address this topic!
You can find the cheaper one in the advertisements , the difference is only the power and the speed , and insured for a certain time , the second hand one is even more cheaper , just be sure you get it from a bicycle shop to make sure that the battery's still good . For awhile more is already spring , you can use it until autumn , accept on a bad weather . Then you can relax & go a bit earlier to work . Anyway is just an idea to think about , if you decide to leave this country then you can just sell it again ( in the same shop ) . Have a nice day !!
Can`t wait to be able to travel again and maybe go visit you as Gustavo! I`lve been working and studying so much that I have been communicating more with you through your videos than catching up with him! Lol I`m writing my comment while watching your video and just had a big laugh with your Albert Einstein picture comparisson. Judging by the place of that class, it looks like it would be such a fun one! Ho pe you are both doing well
Hey Leesa, I'm loving your updates I'm also a PM from Australia and I'm looking to move over after the school year finishes. Would be great to get some more tips are you on LinkedIn? Cheers Damien

That’s a really great video idea! Would be happy to put together something about this based on my experience :)
@@LeesaYu I second that! I would be very interested in your experience as a PM especially in the health-care industry.
Yes I'm keen to see if your PM process is any different or just the same in another location? Language challenges culture differences?

Yes I think so too 😂 for the most part I really do love working from home. I can’t imagine ever going back to the office 5 full days a week again!
So vivid of your daily life in Amsterdam. Well done
🥰☺️
So happy to see you before going to bed soon! 😘😘😘
Nice view of your weekly routine! 🙂

It’s a lot of fun!
I really love this short hairstyle on you! 🥺
😘😘thank youuu!
Thanks for sharing! I really enjoyed this video.
Thanks for watching!
Don't you think it's easier to commute if you have an electric bike ?
Yes it would be! But they are quite expensive. And to be honest, not sure if biking in the middle of winter is my cup of tea 😅

Excellent advice, it might save you a lot of time.
What industry do you work in?
I’m a project manager, currently in healthcare but have worked across a lot of different industries :)
Your office looks cool
It’s a very nice office!
