One thing's for sure - you really know how to make things pop in your videos. This is a new take on an otherwise would be another typical concrete jungle look on Singapore. I've been to Singapore a couple of times and personally aside from the humidity, beautiful architecture, and exorbitant price tags, nothing else stays in mind but after seeing how you guys presented it, perhaps there's a lot more to the Lion City than how I remembered it. It's really true what they say about perspectives, it can really make two people look at the same thing and see two different things. Great video, btw. :)
Thank you so much for such a wonderful comment! Hope we were able to do justice to our time in Singapore 🇸🇬 There really is so much to see and experience if you know where to look. Wishing you safe travels when you visit again 😊
Nice! I went to the Singapore Grand Prix back in 2011 to write about Lotus Renault for the Philippine STAR. I even met Bruno Senna. Incredible night races. Loud but they give earplugs. Excited for your trip! Ralph
Your video is so aesthetically refreshing! And I love that you go to touristy areas yes, but also not afraid to explore the finer side of Singapore with your dining experience. A good mix of local food and our fine dining establishments. Refreshing compared to the typical “how can we spend a $20 budget day in Singapore” type of videos and then proceed to have a meal at MBS foodcourt without any due research.
Thank you so much for saying that! We try to include a mix of different dining experiences whenever we travel. And STB picked some great restaurants to reflect just that. 😋
I wanted to let you know that for the popiah ingredients mentioned at 18:39, stalls rarely use radish in popiah. Jicama or Mexican Turnip (known locally as Bangkuang, where the 'a' is pronounced as 'ah' ) is more commonly used instead. For Maxwell Food Centre, do try out other stalls like Heng Heng Ondeh-Ondeh and Tapioca Cake, which sells tasty local steamed cakes like Ondeh-Ondeh and Steamed Tapioca Cake. The Ondeh-Ondeh and Tapioca Cake are the stall's bestsellers. If you want the most number of items to choose from at Heng Heng, aim to reach Maxwell Food Centre at around 10am from Wednesdays to Saturdays, but avoid Sundays as it is their day off.
On point: Singapore - you can see and feel the city's diversity everywhere from the way the buildings merge with markets, with temples all it takes is a closer look. @RalphSam Thanks for the pro tips in taking some photos Master Andros and to you Sam 🙂🙃🙂 We'll see this place next week for a quick break. (National Gallery)
thanks very much! you can book the guided tours via instagram. on this trip we used @tribetours (instagram walk with andros) and @everydaytourcompany (chinatown walk with kristy) 😊
The narrative, the photography and the flow - in love with your videos! Have been a fan for some months now and sharing my love 💌 come to Portugal, I’m from porto and would be a surprise for you!
as sn SG local. welcome! do carry an umbrella and a cold thermos with cold water! Sun been brutal and sudden showers catch many unaware! enjoy your time here!
We stayed at Jen Singapore Orchardgateway by Shangri-la. Very convenient. There's a mall right beside, the somerset train station is right across and you're walking distance to other orchard spots.
I salute you guys for wearing shirts in our infamous sweltering heat. You must have left here much "lighter" 😅 Also a big welcome to our sunny island and hope you both had fun!
Didn't know you were from Singapore! 👋🏻 It was the hottest weather we've experienced in a long time, but the constant drink breaks definitely helped. Hats off to you guys for being so active despite the summer heat! And yes, we definitely enjoyed. So many great Singapore meals 😋
Also are there any tour guides / tours you’d recommend!? It’s our first trip and it’s only going to be a few days so definetly the highlights and a food tour!
for this trip we took 2 walking tours. the Chinatown walk from Tribe Tours (with Andros) and the Street Art and food Tour from Everyday Tours (with Kristy). Both had great energy and were very informative. Recommend them both!
Safe practice to take precautions as you would traveling anywhere post-pandemic. If you're concerned about catching something, stick to open air locations (Singapore has many) and carry a mask just in case you are unsure about your surroundings.

Hey, Is it safe to travel in singapore right now? Because there is a pandemic there
Safe practice to take precautions as you would traveling anywhere post-pandemic. If you're concerned about catching something, stick to open air locations (Singapore has many) and carry a mask just in case you are unsure about your surroundings.
What about new covid cases ?is it safe now ?
We visited about a month ago before the rise in covid cases. Best to monitor the news to stay up to date if you're planning a trip. Stay safe 👍
