I picked up a couple of your awesome patterns and have a couple of questions. Do you use a single prong punch for stitch holes or a multiple prong punch? I saw you using a one prong in this video but if you use a multiple prong punch what size? 2mm? How do you secure your thread to your needles? I have trouble with mine slipping out as I pull it through sometimes. Thanks for the free pattern, and for designing such cool patterns for sale. I really enjoy your videos too!
I use a mix of one prong and multi prong, depends on if the distance between the holes are wider than my two prong chisel. The chisels that I use are labeled as 4mm. To secure the thread to the needle, you need to poke the needle through the thread itself into a loop, to lock it into place. Look up tutorials on how to thread a needle for leather crafting.
