Вот это да,здорово.Вот это Кармен,просто слов не-великолепно.Не смотря на то,что в то время не было таких прыжков,как сейчас,смотреть было интереснее.В9ять Катарину и Алину,небо и земля.Катарина настоящая Кармен.Про Плющенко без восхищения ничего не скажешь.И Катарина и Евгений-великие фигуристы.Браво!
Потрясающая и выразительнейшая музыка и артистичнейшее и прочувствованное катание!👑Чувствуется,что им самим нравится то,что они делают!🙌Великолепные дары Творца Вселенной-музыка,артистичность,гибкость и пластичность и свободное выражение эмоций!!Браво спортсменам и Восхищение и Благодарность Небесному Отцу!!
Ну кто из сегодняшних может сравниться с такими мастерами льда!!!

It's interesting to put this comparison of a male and female skater's interpretations of "Carmen" together. I saw each skate at the times they were originally performed. They are from two different eras of skating and we can definitely tell the differences in choreography and pushing on the increasing growth of jump technique.
Katarina Witt's "Carmen" was my favorite of her routines. She was considered a powerhouse jumper amongst the women and in the 88 Olympics she was nailing her jump technique. I loved the sassy, intricate choreography and her ownership of the character of Carmen through dance and costume. It's very vibrant work that made a statement. It was worthy of the gold medal she won.
But in many ways it's hard to fully compare her work to Evgeni Plushenko's routine from the 92 Olympics. This was a brand new piece for Plush at the time he debuted it at the Olympics; it replaced his previous "Cirque du Soleil" routine. So choreographically it's less polished than Katarina's routine. Yet Plushenko's routine is thematically more ambitious than hers. Witt chose to play Carmen throughout her performance, but Plushenko chose to play multiple characters from the opera, including Carmen herself. The choreographic scope ends up being different. Witt is reacting to the various movements in Bizet's music through choreography, while Plush is reactinv both choreographically and as an "actor," switching characters to step into the next movement. It was like watching a four-minute version of the opera itself. I remember thinking how ambitious it was at the time.
The video misses opportunities though, the biggest one being a comparison between.the two skaters as they play Carmen. That's one of the most fun sections of Plush's routine and I miss it here. The video captures the excitement of Witt's routine better than Plushenko's, though I was glad to see the ride of thd toreadors sequence included. But the video producer did highlight the growth in difficulty in jump.technique by featuring Evgeni's quad jump and his triple-single-triple combination, considered quite a difficult one at the time. .
Each performance was quite dramatic, revved up the audiences who saw them and led to Olympic medals, even if Evgeni didn't win the gold medal he craved.

Не нужно сравнивать мужское и женское катание, обе программы замечательные. Спортсмены Супер . Но по артистичности Плющенко , пожалуй, лучше
оба отлично исполнили!
