Today skaters are sometimes stunning, but they make too many mistakes and they are as artistic as a frozen pizza, except for Hanyu and Fernandez. Nobody will ever skate like Plushenko, nobody ever again.
My gosh he skates like the music is coming from his soul. This performance was absolutely stunning and the entire time I couldn't take my eyes off him. Would have loved to have been in the audience to see such a marvelous program.
I imagine Puccini (the composer) would be moved by Plushenko's towering performance as he was when hearing the great Caruso sing this beautiful aria. Artistic figure skating at its finest!
