After the interview Fanatec added the following in respect of warranties:
"The warranty start date shown for any product in a Fanatec account is based on the shipping date of the order. This means if the customer purchases a pre-order item, the purchase date has no bearing on the start of the warranty coverage. If the customer requires support towards the end of the warranty period, we take the date of delivery into account."

I never had a problem ordering from fanatec. I started with the csl, then the csl elite, and now a dd2 .
The DD pro then DD Elite both showed up in 6 day from order. Satisficed customer right here so far.

These videos are nice but overly dramatic. This is not how company failures go. CEOs get let go and more established folks get brought in. Fanatec will get a CEO who's better for logistics and supply chain and make investments there. They're not failing.

So trying to fix their problems and when the consumer is the victim is "overly dramatic"? That's copium to be honest. Since covid, every company called covid as excuse for everything, delivery rates, jobs, etc ... and now sometimes you still hear that as excuse for failure, for bad manage, including about funds.
You can't say they aren't in bad shape when you haven't experience it yet. Because if you were smart enough and do some research, in their Instagram page, there are tons of customers asking about their PAID orders even for 2-3 weeks, without a single email reply, or anything.
They created the problem and want to sell the solution. The problem is, we as costumers, we pay for all that.

?I’ve had Fanatec csl dd pro for 3 years + Esports F1 V2... And I’ll tell you, there’s no point in buying defective CS DDs that will absolutely not make you faster. And besides, you will not notice the difference BETWEEN DD PRO and CS DD PLUS there is absolutely no difference. The whole difference is in the strength of the base and nothing more. Spending more than $1000 to still use 6-7nm Markitologists is a scam.

Massive difference. Raced the dd pro then installed the elite. Back to back difference is very noticeable. The Gandboy also said he could feel the car in the corners way better. Check your settings. Happy with my upgrade is all I can say.
Blame your game. F1 games ffb has never been any good.

WHAT?! Just sold my GT DD Pro (8nm) after about 2 years of usage. Been using the DD+ for a couple weeks now. Almost night & day difference.

I ordered *GranTurismo-DD Extreme, *CSL pedal bundle with load cell on April 2nd, 2024.
Today on April 5th, 2024 the UPS man was at my front door with 3 boxes from Fanatec.
All delivery problem fears for nothing

I put a 4K order in two weeks ago and arrived today , fantastic fanatic🤩
I got today my order from Black Friday 23 ! Soming is going on at Fanatec I hope ....1700€ were out of my pocket since november and NO christmas presents in 23.
But in the end I was more scared to get nothing the last weeks so it feels good to get somthing in the end.
Even 13 packages out of 14 could be send in november already. ( V 2.5 x steering wheel problem) .
Crazy shipping policy ... all 5 € button sends were send seperate with ups , so shippment cost more then Product ?!?

I think it would be easy to understand why Fanatec are shipping the products that have been paid in full and delaying the orders that were ordered during the Black Friday. Regarding your question of what the new CEO should do, I think they should take care of all the pending issues ASAP whether if it's the pending orders or warranty and although it may be easier said than done AT LEAST RESPOND TO THE EMAILS. I would be more than happy if I get a reply to keep me updated even if I don't necessarily get my order soon.
Ordered from Fanatec US earlier this week ( BMW Wheel ) and it will be here Monday. Seems things are getting better in the US as far as shipping….

New clubsport gt3 wheel would be way more interesting than a csl cockpit
I was affected by the BF v2.5x delay, they said they would ship at the latest at the end of March, and so it has been. Currently enjoying my Fanatec rig, great products
You can get an aluminum rig for cheaper then that fanatec cockpit and it won’t flex on you. Fanatec is overpriced on everything. Shame on them for making people wait this long for something they ordered last year.
Do you have a good/reliable aluminum rig for that price that you know of. Everything I searched for is more expensive about in the 700-800 ranges. I would love to upgrade to an 8020 rig

I think in this situation, if I was Fanatec, one thing I would do for sure is stop spending on is whatever amount of money they are spending on sponsorships in actual races out in the real world. I presume that to get their logo on the tops of car windshields and sign billboards, this isn't cheap. I would focus on cleaning up their own back yard first so to speak.

I completely agree with you. They should have fixed their issues before releasing a new product. But maybe releasing the new product, if successful will help fixed the issues but that’s a big IF. This new cockpit doesn’t look sturdy but then looks can be deceiving. Like you said, there are really good aluminum profile cockpits around that price figure or $100 extra. But let’s see how things go. Great video 👍🏾
I bought a Fanatec dd pro in May of 2023. Not even 1 year in, and the steering wheel broke.
The right flipper(upshift) doesn't register all of my inputs.
I mailed Fanatec like 10 days ago about this issue. Still haven't heard anything. 😕

Pray. I've had an rma out for 2 months. No Communications. No racing. Wheelbase lasted 2 hours of use. Worst company ever. And will NOT refund. Just sell you junk gear and then ghost you
See I told everyone a while back fanatec had two options either carry on and go bust or have absolutely massive sales where they slash everything, every product by like 70% as a means of getting orders and people back into the brand. That is however if and only if they’ve sorted the reliability issues!. I was wrong about max crashing and hes engine splitting from the car, well wrong that it was going to happen at that race, but we’ll see if it happens say at Monaco!. But yea I literally left a comment a while ago saying the above, if Fanatec doesn’t do that and just keeps realising new products while not sorting their mess they will will will go bankrupt!.

No. Had nothing to do with it. It was all the other well documented issues.
I ordered a whole Clubsport kit in 2021. It arrived in less than 5 days. I bought a Formula v2.5 wheel over a month ago and I haven't heard a thing from Fanatec. At this point, when I upgrade my sim rig to a direct drive and big boy aluminum rig, I'm not going to have any Fanatec products.
They made a wheel that doesn't break immediately?

Well, since a rig does not involve complicated electronics, this could be a way for Fanatec to sell products without having to deal with the backpain of dealing with returns? Whatever they're thinking, I sure hope that, at the very very least, an investor comes by to save them.
I've ordered DD+ Extreme and received it without any problems. That was like a month ago or so. I find it a bit weird to say that Fanatec should not release new hardware. That doesn't have anything to do with anything. There's not just 1 person working at Fanatec. If they release new hardware, that probably has near zero effect on other things. If they DON'T release the new hardware, that won't make the other problems go away any faster. Their product development probably worked on the new hardware for quite some time behind the scenes. So why not release it when it's ready? That doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever.
My understanding is that shipping works fine again now - IF the ordered parts are available. Unfortunately, it seems that QR1 is out of stock, and has been for a while. And of course that's a big issue because it means that many of the currently placed orders can't be fulfilled.
We all agree that they need to get supply issues, shipping delays and support sorted out ASAP. No question about that.
Exactly. The engineers won’t do no nothing while customer service is working as fast as they can to catch up with their open issues. Instead, developing new products and get them to warehouses, make them available for customers is what the dev team does.
Has anyone from the USA made a recent order and received it?
Nope I ordered mine February 23rd it's just stuck in Warehouse I have no clue what's going on with it
I ordered a dd extreme wheel and base, v3 inverted pedals, shifter etc about 3 weeks ago and it came in about a week. All of which said they were in stock on the website. Just waiting on my rig from Trak racer to get here which has been way longer than Fanatec. Feel for the people still waiting on their orders though!

I ordered CSL DD McLaren bundle 10 days ago. Still nothing. Just "handover to warehouse"
Just over a week trying to get any sort of communication/response was enough for me. The only reason I initially went with fanatec for my Xbox is because of the ecosystem. Canceled the order....... Of course no response to that either and put a stop payment on my Visa. Ordered a Logitech gpro instead. Delivery date 2 to 3 days. Have fun.

This might have just been a product they already had in the works and they just went ahead and released it rather than lose money.

I am not interested for cockpit/rig for fanatec at all. I have all of my sim racing hardware from fanatec (dd2, couple of wheels, cspv3 pedals, hadbrake, h-shifter)...what I am interested for is some ultimate line of PEDALS, shifter, handbrake... DD2 is great HW but rest of PODIUM line is just missing. All remaining products of their production are not in pair with PODIUM line. And I am waiting for PODIUM line SO F LONG.
I bought a csl elite ps4 version bundle during the pandemic. Wheelbase. Ps4 rim. Pedals. It took almost 2 months to deliver to me in Seattle, but... I completely understand. In February THIS YEAR I purchased the legendary McLaren GT wheel and the metal quick release. BOTH were delivered in about 2 weeks to me in Seattle. I get these are older items, but shipping seemed reasonable. I hope Fanatec gets their isht together because I FEEL for the peeps out there that spent MONEY months ago and still haven't been fulfilled. I really like my fanatec csl elite rig with loadcell brake and it would be a shame for them to disintegrate
there is no support for there products your rolling the dice on if you get something that works imagine spending 1400 or 200 dollars on a product and it arrives not working you cannot get in contact with them they will not answer your support ticket within the time period on there website for refunds so your stuck with a huge paper weight product.

Exactly. I've had no reply to my RMA returns request, and it took six weeks for my query about where my black Friday order was - which I sent to them in March - to get a reply. Horrible customer experience.

I bet the only reason this is being released is because it was so far down the development pipeline already that they had to release it. IE the work was probably almost done as all this churn has happened.
Kinda milking the Fanatec train a bit here. It's getting exhausting now that theres so much focus on this.

That chassis doesn't look super stable. Even for a $400 rig. Better off just grabbing an 80-20 rig for the same price.
Looks cheap & basic . €400 just for the frame , + €100 for the seat , €650 for all in with monitor & gear stick bracket . Ridiculous.

Who thinks the interview he did with the old CEO recently was the final nail in his coffin. 🙋 He came off completely unapologetic and was absolutely terrible in that interview from a PR standpoint. He just wanted to blame everyone else for the problems and didn't want to accept any responsibility. He deserved to be canned.

Its not as if your videos wouldnt speed up YOUR delivery, sponsor or not.
So you think with your status in the world of Fanatec and you tube makes fast service from them meaningful. Personally I do not. Again being involved early on there are a few details you may not know. The early wheels and bases used Logitech firmware. When you would fire up a GT2 or GT3 on a PC it was labeled as Logitech. Of course when Fanatec became a player they were forced to pay Logitech a fee. Same thing happen with their Xbox wheels. There were not originally licensed with Microsoft as well.
I think the website "glitch" was actually the following. For some reason Fanatec had a cash crunch. Could have been excess spending from on TJ or who knows what else. In order to appease the banks funds were needed quickly. What better way than to take money for a product you don't have. I think the fact that refunds were not issued immediately was the fact that your hard earned money was already gone. For anyone who reads this feel free to tell me why I am wrong .

I think they should have focused on fixing the sh*t they’re in first, before bringing out a new product and taking orders for it… People are still waiting on orders from months ago, that doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence into (possible new) customers… I’m personally never ever going to spend a single €/$/£/¥ on their products.
Im quite shocked at this new cockpit frame. Aesthetically it looks like complete junk.
It doesn’t look as sturdy or rigid as the GT Omega ART cockpit and that only costs £200

I personally think releasing a cheap looking rig which arent that cheap when you include taxes and shipping is the stupidest thing Fanatec could do right now.

How about producing enough QR1 and QR1 lite Quick releases instead

In the shop right now in EU, hubs and wheel bundles says ships within 4-7 days, but can you buy when you check out ? no you cant unless you add a QR2.

For $600 for the whole kit, it's an affordable compact piece of kit especially if it's sturdy enough to handle most wheelbases.
For the people saying "fanatec was fine for me!" thats good for you. But that doesnt mean we are all lying or something. I had to send my csl DD in for an RMA because it was overheating and smelled like melted plastic, and after 2 weeks of waiting to send it in, then haven't said a word since. My Wheel base is somewhere in texas, and they never even told me it arrived. No updates, nothing. Its been weeks at this point and my attempts at getting in contact with anybody has been a total failure. Nothing but auto replies. My wheel base has now been gone for longer than I even had it, and I ordered it to use during a certain time frame that has since passed. I'm happy with all my products so far (when they worked) but i seriously wished I had just spent a little more to get stuff from a better company. 800$ down the drain (just for the fanatec products)

From what I have seen Fanatec has a lot of competitors coming who want to see them lose.
Everything I have bought from them has been delivered on time and it has been fantastic products. There is a reason why they are number 1.
Three days from my order date all of my order (over 1k) showed up in immaculate boxes this is my second Mclaren wheel I wore the old one out but my new one is so much better made heavier and you can feel and see the quality....honestly, I can't say enough good things I am super surprised...if they keep this up they won't have any worries....
