    What do you guys think about Koumei? What are you liking and what changes would you personally make to the newest Warframe? I hope this guide helps and enjoy the Steel Path build! Cheers

      Got a like and subscrive for noticing 1 of the anti synergises of koumeis own kit lol enemies have to move to proc 1 but they cant if u skill 4... i feel like her kit needs a rework.
      Skill 1 I feel would be the simplest change. Add the effect: Enemies affected by Bunraku receive 1 random status per second. Now CCing enemies within range will not counter synergize them. Also a gamba frame without gamba loot? sounds strange.. i'd also like skill 1 to increase loot chance by 3% x die roll with median of 15 would be 45% chance foe extra loot to enemies that die within range.
      Also I hate to say it but im not.. a fan of skill 3. Damage can be RNG so we can hunt the big booms but randomly dying because of RNG.. cant even say this politely, extremely shit. I guess every warframe needs an ability to helmith off... or at least that's the excuse i tell myself when i think this skill is okay. It should have been a gurantee damage reduction, scaling with strength with a duration however there is a 50% chance to heal instead of take damage. This.. greatly reduces the RNG aspect of this skill (which goes against koumeis design) and the heal instead becomes a top up instead of that decides weather u live or die but i don't think any1 would complain if a coin flip on dying was removed.

      I appreciate the support, welcome yourself in! (Long response because you peaked my interest!)
      Although I appreciate it, I do have to disagree with your take: I don't think she needs a 'rework' per say but she could use slight number tuning & QoL factors - *However, keeping in mind that a "gamble" frame will NEVER be balanced* - So, some aspects need to be nuts like giving us the access to a decree system like being able to get "Twofold Torment", but then the other side is getting other decrees that weren't simply worth the time. The gamble is the price you pay.
      I feel that you would overshoot and over tune what her 1st is. It's her 1st ability, so I don't feel it would need a scaling status factor like her 4th does. And although I like the idea of bonus loot I don't think it should be on her 1st either. Keeping in mind that it's a low cost ability with good spread, spacing and durational times.
      I do like the idea of getting bonus loot within a Decree potentially - or scaling bonus loot per Decree acquired - I think that could be possible, it would feel more rewarding and encouraging to remain within the mission to "get the most out of it".
      Her 3rd skill is what I have to refer to above. It's a 50% chance to basically gate their damage and even crowd control like knockdown. So in theory, that's actually really good actually. But, in practice, in action paced games like this, where enemy density is usually always outnumbering you, I'd have to say it's similar to how I feel about "agile" as a stat. Relying on "% Chance" to survive is/and always has been; bad in Warframe. It's like the game dictates "now you'll die" or "hmm, not now, maybe later" and that's not fun, especially when you're doing things right.
      This is why I recommended Brief Respite on her for survival, especially on the Bunraku build. I crowd control them, I get a good amount of Shield back and then lovely jubbly I can survive and focus on Eximus units unaffected by the CC.
      Anyways, I'm yapping at this point but I will be keeping my eyes peeled for what DE decides to change and we can address that then! Cheers

      @@NoSympathyyCA1 yea I agree giving her skill 1 having the effect of skill 4's triple 666 is a bit much. I couldn't really think of a way to make it synergize with the immoblize of skill 4.
      I initally thought we would only get say 3 degrees and we would have to choose which degree to keep but they decided to go all in and thats how they could try to balance it. Well at the very least the augment for her skill 2 seems pretty easy, give us the choice of 1 of 3 like in duviri lol
      Also on skill 3 im not really sure how they can reblaance it but... im likely to just helmith eclipse for my health tanking for a reliable dmg reduction OR healmith roar so my status can double dip. 6/13 of her skill 4 actually deals additional damage over time.
      I using triple umbra setup right now and have 1.2k armor... when i picked up the 5% strength per 50 armour... was an instant 120% strength and koumei suddenly went ya'll dead which felt so good.. and then i got the increase dmg to cold.. TWICE so suddenly felt like a god. So i've already felt the gamba frame can never feel balanced like you said but damn did it feel good.

    I do think her Decree ability needs a liiittle bit of tweaking to make it feel good. possibly allowing the cooldown to start as soon as you've rolled for a challenge, with a VERY slight increase on the timers as an adjustment.
    I love the concept behind her, but she also introduces something that Warframe players rarely ever see - which is the lack of control that you have over your performance due to the RNG aspects of her kit. I think this is also what makes me confused as to why she's been introduced as a new player frame, this isn't coming from a hilltop of elitism, but she has many different parts that are pretty much the bane of most new players - Complexity e.g What the hell is a status effect? now i have to worry about 10? I barely know how to do the movement in the game and now I'm doing challenges too?
    My experience with her has been amazing though. she's comfy in survival, dishes out nice damage and has such a creepily cool vibe.
    I would like to see if they will at all adjust her 2nd ability to make it less Random and quicker to scale, as it not only feels good to power fantasy your way through things with a ton of accumulated buffs, but even just lowering the time between challenges would make it feel more proactive as you're not JUST sitting there doing the same thing for hours on end (I love Khora, but spamming 1 for more than an hour starts to make my hand hurt lmao)
    She's great, and provides a playstyle that may just let her make it into my top 5 most played frames over time.

      100% agreed on the "new player" aspect. DE cook a lot lately, but I'm happy to disagree and give criticism where it's due. Koumei doesn't make sense for a new player. It's one thing learning 4 abilities and a passive. It's another learning 45 decrees you've never seen before. It's far too complex.
      I do like her and I believe with the overall feedback and general consensus people are stating; that we will see a change to her 2nd in terms of QoL. Be it cooldown or whatever, I'm sure they may have a look into it.
      Overall, I find her enjoyable so I'm glad others do too.

    She feels so fun to play, only thing I would change is scale down the 2 cooldown, maybe a system where it detects you are doing a short mission so you get smaller requirements and shorter cds, but overall just reducing the cooldown would be really good.

      Also keep the bad decrees, part of gambling is you don't always win, so there is that, they exist so you get excited when you get something good.

      I think the time makes sense due to the scaling - but I can also see wiggle room. So I'm not overly fussed on the timing, whether it remains the same is good for me but if it sees a buff and gets decreased then that's just a win for everyone haha

    Glad I'm not the only one with that sentiment. I love the extra ability strength. (Does it really matter on her though, extra range would be nice) But back to the topic. I wish we did not NEED to do a finisher. Who has times to do finishers EVERY time we want this to activate. 🤣

      For my build (the 2nd one shown) I would 100% love the extra Strength! I mean, unless they release Archon Shards or Arcanes that promote Ability Range, then sure, I'd take those! But otherwise, let's melt things and continue scaling, so Strength suits me just fine for a Damage build.
      Agreed, finishers are meh, wish the Durational reward was increased on finisher completion. Like rewarded for 45s with a buff or something would be better balancing and fairer than needing to finisher every 10-15s to get whatever buff the decree gives.

    I wonder if Umbral Intensify could outperform Precision Intensify on this build (provided that I'll have a spare umbra forma for that) 🤔
    I mean, the 4th ability will get less strength, but, on the other hand, Roar will get more 🤔🤔🤔
    And this would benefit our weapons' damage as well.
    I'm also thinking about freeing a mod slot occupied by Equilibrium by adding two "Equilibrium" Violet archon shards instead of the Toxin ones...

      Defo worth testing. I won't lie to you, due the RNG of the Elements applied, I decided to not bother writing numbers down comparing Umbral to Precision, so I just packed it up and tested other mechanical things rather than dps things haha.
      And for sure! Shards are optional, so pop in what suits you and switch the build as you please!

    Hey, i liked the video but had a few questions: What type of yellow shard is that? I assume casting speed but Im still learning the whole frame building so I could be wrong. Also, weapons wise would you recommend just any weapon with galvanized aptitude/ galvanized elementalist or are there specific weapons you would say would do better for her?

      @@cerealgymnast2613 pretty sure it is a casting speed shard, just because her 4th ability cast can be lengthy.
      as for weapons, bring stuff that can help you complete your challenges. e.g bring a good melee weapon for killing enemies within 10 metres, bring a strong aoe/chaining weapon for killing enemies whilst wall latched/sliding/airborne such as torid/ocucor/kuva zarr, and bring a single target weapon for killing enemies with headshots.

      Ah man, I completely forgot to mention the Tauforged Amber Shard is a casting speed increase. It's great QoL for Bunraku and Roar times.
      Uhm, there are specific meta weapons like Incarnons that would automatically synergize well with her. But for the most part, so long as you understand you're in the mission to scale; then anything that scales automatically synergizes with her. "Mods maketh the weapon" as they say.
