Yeah, I find for me at least that Nintendo does that a lot with their games with their weird 10-character limit they use instead of the more common 12.

14:20 unarmed is crazy good, I'm currently doing an unarmed only run. No guns, bombs, or mines. He's my steps: At the start of the game, sink points into unarmed and medicine, buy the spiked knuckles at primm, (or the power fist at novac in case you didn't know mr nash sold them...) Then fast travel back to goodsprings and prepare to fight cazadores. You are headed north. It's best to use those antivenoms here, and to bring all the food you can manage to find, because the cazadores are only half the battle. Through careful trial and error, and hoping that too many cazadores didn't spawn, beat the brakes off those flying bastards, then wipe out the viper gang hanging around the destroyed buildings a little further north. Both the cazadores and the gang took an equal amount of effort and attempts for me to overcome. The unique spiked knuckles 'Love and hate', which you can find on the gang leader, is in my opinion the best early game weapon that you can get your hands on. It trivializes the fight at the tops, and is very effective in another, earlier encounter that you seemed to struggle with. 8:15 At this point, barring deathclaws and packs of reaver ghouls, you can immediately 1v1 or 1v3 any common enemy you can think of. Super mutants can be troublesome, but you can block their melee, and rush down the gunners. Perform the same maneuver for any legion hit squads that appear, and that will essentially cover you for most of the game. You've probably seen crazy builds for unarmed, but even without excessive tinkering and drug juicing, melee unarmed is really, really good.

Actually I’m gonna agree that followers safehouse is mid but I don’t care at all for legion safehouse, I never use explosives and I alway use healing items sparingly anyway
Followers Safehouse has combat armor I’m pretty sure, I double checked the wiki and it doesn’t say anything about loot on the right bed but in the image it provides you can clearly see items on that bed so yeah idk. I’m pretty sure it’s combat armor along with a combat helmet, hunting shotgun, and bean bag rounds
The BoS safehouse is inaccessible for this playthrough since you need to get your hands on the holotapes and the parts to fix the ventilation system and both are stored in dead bodies and lockers, so you can never access them.
theres several near-perfect condition guns in the securitron upgrade basement cutscene- i think a 9mm pistol and 9mm submachine. and im really surprised you didnt grab Oh, baby! the unique super sledge from the floor in the invisible nightstalkers cave. otherwise good shit, im not too shocked to see spiked knuckles stand their own, the main thing is the 2-handed weapons swing a lot faster than power fists
unarmed is CRACKED if you get the old world blues enhancements... like reinforced spine etc- theres also one you can take that makes you immune to poison xD
Btw if you get Veronica as a companion then go to the brotherhood of steel she straight up convinces them to let you in with no trouble, so in short, you could have easily gotten power armor training xD

run idea, can you beat new vegas as a gambler? - you can only use equipment earned from casinos and you can use any gambler suit/hat at any time - you can only get caps earned from casinos (you are allowed to have 1 cap to start with, alternatively you can only use caps you find inside the casinos like in trash cans or safes) - any SPECIAL is fine, but you need 10 luck, also criticals are gonna be useful a lot in this run - you can only use Lucky and Vance's 9mm SMG - you have to side with mr house - you cant kill benny, nor the omertas or whitegloves - similar to last rule, you have to side with each of the casinos - you have to do all the quests for the casinos (i.e. talent pool, a pair of desperados, beyond the beef, and debt collector) - (optional) you can steal anything you find in safes, id suggest high stealth and lockpicking for that - if you want to add anything that would make sense or that i might have missed, feel free to do so. edit: ive never seen this done before, it would be an interesting run. like all runs, yes it is obviously possible, but its more about the journey, not the destination
Off the top of my head, I know there’s a merc outfit right outside Goodsprings a little below that one body on the ledge with the geckos. There’s also some clothes in primm’s sheriff office (plus a cowboy rifle), but I think they despawn when you assign a new sheriff so you gotta grab them before that. Then there’s the big bucks, the outfits you can find in the various safehouses. I just find it surprising that you didn’t find anything at all for the entire run.
I don't do much if any research for runs. Mostly wanting to see if the challenge is possible myself. But yeah, little wild I found jack, and squat for armor

In reality the Q-35 would be the real way to speedrun this challenge, break into repcon HQ by bypassing quarry junction straight from goodsprings, able to pick up the Q-35 and a few hundred shots in the room, and 100-200 more in some nearby locked rooms. That would be more than enough to kill anyone who gets in the way.

can you beat fallout 3 using only megaton home items, whenever you change themes new items spawn and you can use the home upgrades to heal/generate chems?
Since you've already looted those items from the overworld, I think you should've still been able to take your stuff out of the chest from the brotherhood, it seems nobody ever does the brotherhood quest line, plus you'd be able to get power armor training and power armor by stealing the power armor from the store there
Fun fact talk to Veronica and they won't take your loot by bringing her there once and you can get that power armor in the bunker and wear it after doing the brotherhood quest line, also the brotherhood safehouse with t51 powerarmor
If you pull your Pip Boy up right as the option to rename or edit your character comes up you can glitch the system. Take the skilled perk Select to rebuild character Select skilled again Repeat until your Pip Boy is out of scene in the background 😂 you'll level your stats so fast

Why didn’t you try to gain access to any of the faction safe houses, you can get some crazy overworld loot in them. Power armor, ranger armor, Tesla Cannons, missile launchers, ect
Ok so definitely not be a playthrough idea but I think its a neat idea. So its in Cyberpunk 2077. You probably like wanna do it on a character that's already completed the game. Anyways, there's the challenge go from the West Wind Apartments in Pacifica to Oil Fields in the Badlands. Not that hard and until you realize I have more to say. (Uh oh) So it's 6.2Km in game. You need to do it on foot only, strictly no cars otherwise you're cringe. If you die you gotta start back at West Wind Apartments. Now this is where the possibility to die comes from, so you need to have the cops on you before the 6.1km mark and then 3 stars before the 6 km mark. You need 4 stars before the 5k mark. Then 5 stars before the 3.1km mark and each time you meet MaxTac you must kill em all before you go ahead. If you ever loose the stars you must go back to West Wind Apartments. If you cross over 3.1k without 5 stars you restart. If you're cool you'll stay on the road and sidewalk the entire time but if you need to panic and take cover is ok pookie bear. This has to be done at least on Normal preferably Hard, don't do Very Hard unless you're masochist. If you don't do this challenge I understand if you do it, good luck you'll need it. Also the name (literally just came up with it.) "Wild Cyberpsycho Chase." Have fun!

Just saying, you can get ranger armor from an NCR safehouse. No clue if you can do enough of their quests to get access to them because I don't know how many quests would require you to look in inventories but armor was possibly an option.
Coulda saved the ammo on the Brotherhood by taking Veronica to the base. Don't have to interact with a chest since they don't take your equipment. Also would'a let you get the power armor training to avoid sad times.

I tried this challenge out an after picking up the YCS-182 and all the micro fusion cells in the Repconn HQ carried me form mid game to the end
yeah unarmed is secretly overpowered, i started an unarmed playthrough a few days ago and this shit is STRONG AS FUCK, it's actually incredible
