Short answer: No, it gets 2nd place because of the new dungeon grenade launcher VS Chill Inhibitor. It has the same roll (Envious Arsenal + Bait and Switch), additional rolls (Cascade Point + Bait and Switch/Envious Assassin + Bait and Switch), and it is in the now better frame post buff (rapids > adaptives by ~7%).
but seasonal mods cause it to do more damge so for now it is the best

Ugh incorrect, running the right t5 artifact mods gives bittersweet vorpal and allows you to overload the mag with the origin trait
Also, you can focus farm the episode activity for this one if you can't farm the dungeon for the other. Take your pick.
The dungeon grenade launcher also has envious arsenal and bait n switch so that’s also another option

Short answer. No.
Rapid fires have higher DPS and total damage due to their high reserves. They have a 10.3% advantage over adaptive nade launchers.
Rapid fires have always struggled from having really bad perks historically. But the dungeon grenade launcher changes this. Making VS chill inhibitor the best grenade launcher in the game, it's a rapid fire and it has optimal damage perks.
Rapids beat a lot of other setups in the game for damage rotations specifically, this includes swap rotations that have rockets. Making it a prime candidate for envious arsenal/bait and switch.

@@Elijah-bj4vo Barely, and seasonal mods are temporary. The winner is quite clear for best GL in the game. There is a difference between best in the game and best for a season.

As a casual i like that everyone now can easily get a damage dealing gl etc much easier the games moving slow but in the right direction i think. Ty for all the builds. ❤

It’s probably the best for now because of Conductive Cosmic Crystal, but the dungeon one will end up being better in the long run.

Maybe you can test Bitter/Sweet with the 2 artifact mods, which buff Dark Ether Weapons.

what’s the best way to get this GL? i’ve ran probably 300 waves of Onslaught and have gotten 1
there is focusing potions and just unfortunately get luckier
also that’s only thirty that isn’t all that much honestly and only 6 waves of 50 so
I got my god roll while farming the new dungeon GL with the tonic equipped, as the tonic drops a 50% chance of bittersweet whenever it procs and it procs on random kills and encounter clears, either run an encounter you can complete quick or run shuro chi/ other high density farms, I was getting a bittersweet drop around every 3 runs of shuro chi whilst levelling up another gun, doing seasonal challenges and bounties. If you have access to the dungeon I recommend the first encounter farm as you can get drops of both bittersweet and its big brother VS Chill Incapacitator at the same time

I’ve gotten like 30 of this gl and not a single one has been usable so it looks like imma be chasing this all season :/
If you have the Dungeon Key you could farm the first encounter of Vespers Host for the dungeon GL which is actually a little better than the seasonal one, especially while having a purple tonic that focuses the Bitter/Sweet and lets it drop by getting kills anywhere i think. The 1st encounter of the dungeon can be completed hilariously fast if everyone knows what theyre doing and it drops every weapon except the Auto Rifle iirc.

I think it's the perk image from sympathetic arsenal or just really really similar.
Sympathetic arsenal was kills with this weapon reload your other weapons so it's a relatively similar perk

Ahhh see I had a feeling it was similar to some perk from Season of Arrivals, I remember feeling underwhelmed with that old version of the perk, good to know they made an upgraded version, weird gow they didn't just change the old perk to work that way and instead made a whole new perk 🤔@@jacob-2271

No, sympathetic arsenal might be the perk you’re thinking of and it’s terrible getting a kill reloads you’re other weapons
