      @@mikelaputt Thank you for the reply... However, I was not looking for an "I think about" answer. I find it interesting that the OP, who is obviously an bike guy, did not ask this. At 220 lbs, this thing (bike) is not going to take much pounding. Thanks anyway.

      @macmclemore in that case, let me rephrase: A simple google search states that it is 220 lbs.

      I just bought the Caofen FX yesterday. I'm 6'2" and 212lbs with my helmet and boots on. It definitely can handle way more weight.

    I've been riding electric off-road bikes since the 90's and I can tell you there is no way this bike will do 70 miles with an aggressive rider on it. Even with their largest battery. They would be lucky to get 20 miles. I speak from experience.

      Sometimes I wish tech from the space industry came to market much faster. The rovers that landed Mars ran for years. Use case scenarios are different, but, I can imagine the possibilities if that tech was available sooner.

    A gas tank that gets smaller:
    When, it's hot, cold, used to fast, used to much, run to low, filled to fast, not used.
    This is a good idea?

      I think of it as an alternative. I feel that there needs to be a transition period to move people from ICE, to Hybrid, to fully electric. The price of petroleum will eventually become prohibitive whether the added cost will be a supply issue, government regulation, or health related. Nothing is perfect, but, I do like having the choice.

    Top speed is disappointing for road legal bikes, should be at least 60mph to keep up with traffic.

    • @macmclemore
      @macmclemore 10 месяцев назад

      If you are an ebike rider... that top speed probably sounds pretty good.
      Doesn't matter what they call it... These are NOT motorcycles.

      @@nxdboi the most popular option from STARK for the Varg, for real motorcycle riders, is the foot brake option. Whats "arbitrary" about that...?

      That's just outdated thinking for ICE clutch days. No valid reason to have a foot operated rear brake on an EV motorcycle.
