    Great video, thank you. Wondering if the jacket would be suitable for rainy season in hot and humid countries, thank you.

      Hey there! The Torrentshell does has pit zips for breathability which helps in wet, humid weather. Although, if it's really hot/humid and you're wearing the jacket for some time you will find yourself sweating and the jacket wetting out from the inside.
      Depending on your budget, you might want to look at something with a higher breathability rating like a Triolet. Keep in mind though, in high temperatures most jackets will you have you sweating it out especially if you are active, in this case an umbrella or rain poncho may be a better option. Hope that helps!

    What size did you get this jacket in?

    Great review! I am unable to find the yellow color of this jacket anywhere, even the Patagonia site. I'm guessing it is an older model? Where did you get it?

      Hey Zach! Glad you enjoyed! Unfortunately it is an older model. However, Patagonia release new colours every year so keep your eye out in case they do a yellow again!

    the only way i found you get good visibility of any kind is if you synch the draw cord on the back of the hood otherwise your head turns inside the hood. Quite dangerous when driving! Also the crinkly sound is so loud and vocal its hard to hear anything around you

    It was great but I had to wrap a mountain goat carcass in it and I could never get the smell out.

      That's a shame! Would love to hear the story behind how your Torrentshell ended up wrapped around a mountain goat?

    Would this be good for snowboarding and skiing?

      Yes it would work for snow, it wouldn't be great in powder as it doesn't have a snow skirt.

    With 1,74cm and 67kg. Do you think an M size is good for me?

    • @TomsOutdoors
      @TomsOutdoors  4 года назад

      Hi, In the video Chris is wearing a small. He is 172cm tall and 65kg.

      @@TomsOutdoors oh noo, I'm more confused now. First a dude told me that I can used L or M, but now Chris has the S size and looks perfect with it. I think I'll have to see the exact measurements of the arms since mine are a little longer than normal and makes me have problems even with some M sizes. Thanks!

    • @TomsOutdoors
      @TomsOutdoors  4 года назад

      @@pedrosincasa The arms are longish on the waterproofs so you may still be ok with a small. The safest best would be a medium.

      M is too probably much too big for you.
