Lalig2yyz CA Really? Pretty much everyone that subscribes to this channel is in love with Pete, in one way or another. The man is a legend, and a lot of us fanboy over him, one way or another. If my comment creeps you out, perhaps you shouldn’t leave your house, snowflake.
I was on another window listening to the intro, and it sounded like Pete was soloing and playing rhythm, so I clicked off to see if he had turned on the looper, but the Captain was soloing. Sounding great, Lee!
Lee- "Have you thought of explaining things for a living?" while shaking his head no. I nearly spit my drink all over my screen!!!! Keep it up guys. Loving the Anderton videos and Lee's sense of humor!
David Woods You may be right ! Randy Newman even said it; Santa Ana winds blowing hot from the north! And for our friends not in Southern California, Santa Ana ain’t the most glamorous city in the world #nooffense
Wow, that distortion pedal is going to be a classic. Such great sounding distortion - from Fender of all people. Really impressed! Those will be going out the door like .... not like Hotcakes, but like something else. Date scones?
Reading the description (on your website) of the buffer pedal, it suggests that it is not just a buffer, but actually keeps unity between instruments to avoid different levels between humbucker and single coil. It would have been interesting to see this aspect demo'd. If it's effective it would be really useful for the gigging musician.
But the question is.. how twon guitars get 'matched' with this buffer? Do one have to change levels with the pots when switching guitars? Thanks in advanve
great video, i like that you guys are on top of the new fender pedals. going for the distortion pedal, sounds great. been watching for a long time, mostly for the laughs!
Genuinely impressed by the quality of these pedals. I've always had the impression that Fender's attempt at pedals was an afterthought to cash in on their popularity, but this line is really good. Fingers crossed I win the Reflecting Pool from the #andertonsmademedoit competition!
Pretty sure I read that the buffer pedal is designed for switching easily between a guitars of different pickup outputs levels on stage to help with massive level changes in your rig. As well as just being a buffer.
Great range of pedals!! Love the dirt pedals!! Also pretty impressed with the verb and delay!! Am I the only one who for some reason finds it weird that the distortion is gold and overdrive red? Think I am just so used to the colour scheme being the other way round :)
Great video, but Pete was mistaken. There are people that still use Morse code, and some nations’ militaries still use it. In fact, there are a couple of countries that still use voice Morse...that’s right, they put some poor soul on a microphone and they deliver messages and reports by saying some version of dits and dahs...for hours.
Good to see Fender finally get their act together and release pedals that aren't rubbish with a brand name price tag on them. I liked a couple of them but given everything else in my pedal collection , I just can't see any of them making me buy them. Great demo though lads :)
As of today I own 4 out of 6 of these pedals. Probably won't get the Santa Ana Overdrive. I may get the Level Set Buffer if I ever run into a need for it but as of right now I don't have a problem that would require it.
Santa Ana is a mountain range in the south western Sierras. They are famous for the peculiar wind that blows through the desert there. The kind of place you might contemplate your mirror image while driving down a lost highway 🛣
Ok I’m commenting before I’ve watched the whole thing - damn Pete’s tele sounds edible (if something can sound edible) honestly I can taste the notes!! And Lee’s playing is awesome! Right gunna at the risk of sounding like my gran I’m gunna settle down to watch the rest 🤘😎🤘
Haha! my fave part of all the videos is Joss scream/laughing in the background and Pete's quick phallic references
hahahahAAAAAAA
If Pete just sat there drinking coffee for an hour, I’d still watch the entire video. #waygayforpete
Dave meets Pete. 4 hours long, possible smoking of substances, tonal brilliance.
You might be #waygayforpete , but I'm sure that he's #waygayerformayer
I'd be very careful about giving Pete an hour to drink coffee!
Brian Ricker good thing youtubers can be relatively anonymous, because your comment is just plain CREEPY.

Pete: “I sounded like my mum”
Lee: “I liked it!”
😂
Now what Fender needs to do is a vibrato pedal that is a tremolo and a tremolo pedal that is a vibrato.
Sakari Kempas hey I guess they did that
7:29 "Don't put your willy in it" You have been warned by Danish Pete.
and lee you have come on leaps and bound , keep it coming
Still tends to look a little confused while playing, but sounds great!
I was on another window listening to the intro, and it sounded like Pete was soloing and playing rhythm, so I clicked off to see if he had turned on the looper, but the Captain was soloing. Sounding great, Lee!

Wow they're getting some nice........andertones
*slow claps*
I see what you did there 😉
When Lee said he likes Pete sounding like his Danish mom. #BufferMyMuffin
#BuffinMyMuffin
Classic
I’ve had the Pugilist for a couple of weeks and it is super cool. Recommended.
Lee is playing a lot better :) but still is Pete that makes me want to
buy everything :)
Can we buy his ""chops""?
Lee's playing has improved a lot and that guitar really compliments him. Pete is awesome, and that Tele is 😍.
Good stuff. The Pugilist does seem pretty nice and a good value at $100.
It does sound really nice but I'm wondering what the difference is between it and the overdrive
This will be a killer line. Versatile, good sound and killer price.
Lee,
I'm going to lay a huge compliment on you you very well held your own with Pete in that jam.
That's actually close to the best you guys have played together at the end there, nice back and forth, enjoyable to listen to.
Great video and great pedals. Love watching the Captain and Danish Pete jam.
I don't ever comment. Not ever. Best youtube video of the year! Buffery smooth. Tastiest licks. Period.
That laugh in the background after the Buffer joke..... Must be Joss! OMG that was classic.
Danish Pete is one of the best guitarists on RUclips.
I literally lost it laughing at the buffer joke and then again at 12:04 when you maxed the gain. My funny bone was crushed in this video lol
Damn the captain got way better at the guitar
exit jam was lightning in a bottle, what a blast!
Santa Ana is the capital of Orange County CA. Not too far from he NAMM location. No beach.
Love the videos with Pete. Please keep him around!
May I suggest that the OD is really named after the Santa Ana winds that blow hard and occasionally drive brush fires...
Can confirm. Santa Ana has no beach. Just city.
David Woods You may be right ! Randy Newman even said it; Santa Ana winds blowing hot from the north! And for our friends not in Southern California, Santa Ana ain’t the most glamorous city in the world #nooffense
Holy cow Captn! You certainly improved your playing man! Fantastic jam at the start!!
We need more Pete. He's such a great player. Please put him in more videos.
Oh wow, Danish Pete just effortlessly keeps playing guitar with hammer ons with one hand while he adjusts the pedal with the other.
9:38 deserves a thumbs up!!
And yes for the record, I do have a speech impediment and I too also laughed loudly like Joss!!
i adore Danish Pete so much!
Lee's tone at 1:26 -WOW!
Pete is just such a great player!
Is it just me or does the Pugilist sound like a over drive and the Santa Ana sound like a distortion?
I want that purple tele!
HOT DAMN the Captain was on fire on that opening jam !
Good playing from Pete, and excellent choice in guitar.
Oh man, Joss's laugh .. comedy gold
That Pugilst Distortion sounds amazing.
Wow, that distortion pedal is going to be a classic. Such great sounding distortion - from Fender of all people. Really impressed! Those will be going out the door like .... not like Hotcakes, but like something else. Date scones?
19:55 That's by far the best explanation on the difference between parallel and series 😂😂
You need a "Buffer my Muffin" shirt!!!
pete has them tones here
I like it that the Captain pulled rank even though in this video he said he was just Lee.
Im glad its Pete doing this vid. Nothing against Robbie he is great! just nice to have variety on the channel.

Pete + that Purple Tele = 💜, Lee + that HSS Strat = 😊. Put them both together, and you get 🤯💥
great video, i like that you guys are on top of the new fender pedals. going for the distortion pedal, sounds great. been watching for a long time, mostly for the laughs!

Been waiting for this before I order my 'The Bends' blindly!
If you order the bends too quickly you'll need to go in a decompression chamber
Love that Elite HSS Strat in Autumn Blaze - I assume it's the one listed as "May be on display"?
Santa Ana is indeed in California. Its a city in Orange County, near where Fender was founded in Fullerton. Also VERY close to where you were at Namm.
7:28
Danish pete: Put your willie in it
Pete after the quiet Captain burp: "You okay?" hahaha
Fender is killing it with their new pedals. I love them all.
That jam at the start was sick!!
Pretty sure I read that the buffer pedal is designed for switching easily between a guitars of different pickup outputs levels on stage to help with massive level changes in your rig. As well as just being a buffer.

You guys killed it on this episode! Had me cracking up!
Lee has grown so much in his playing. I sense Danish Pete had something to do with it :P
Pete's tele should be called...THE JOKER 😎
The return of "shaffordable"!
What I will say is probably sacrilagious, but that LP with the Santa Ana OD pedal sounds heavenly!
These pedals seem well-designed and definitely reasonably-priced.
Good to see Fender finally get their act together and release pedals that aren't rubbish with a brand name price tag on them. I liked a couple of them but given everything else in my pedal collection , I just can't see any of them making me buy them. Great demo though lads :)
Pete is the man!!!
Crowded House got a mention! Hello from New Zealand!
As of today I own 4 out of 6 of these pedals. Probably won't get the Santa Ana Overdrive. I may get the Level Set Buffer if I ever run into a need for it but as of right now I don't have a problem that would require it.
lookin good captain, youre improving immensely!!
Great vid as always. We all wait from mat and bea to.... SOUND LIKE RORY GALLAGHER
Dave Simpson just started his how to play like Rory series :)
Great video guys. Did you go to the pub before you shot it? You 2 were having so much fun
23:24 who haven't thought of Crowded House (Don't Dream It's Over) after that first cord should leave the music immediately
Hey, did you cut that part of video I'm refering to because you can't get money from RUclips?
Danish Pete is a mad man on that distortion pedal!!
That laugh at 9:43 just killed me hahaha
Pete's got the ideas... Man, nice licks!
didnt learn much from this video as anything pete plays sounds amazing regardless
That Reverb sounds ACE
Production Suggestion.
Reference time for each effect.
I had to pause the video after that buffer joke, it made my day
Fully Sick Chops! Remiinds me of day's playing Hendrix style in Blues bands.
Santa Ana is a mountain range in the south western Sierras. They are famous for the peculiar wind that blows through the desert there. The kind of place you might contemplate your mirror image while driving down a lost highway 🛣
The Pugilist and the Marine Layer are my favorites! I may have to ditch one of my other pedals to make room for these on my board.
Danish Peeeeete! ...is such an amazing guitarist! More danish soul food please.
"It puts the buffer on its muffin or it gets the hose" 😆😂😜
I want Pete’s purple Tele!
Hello Andertons,
Great video and review!
Which one you like/recommend better and why? The Pugilist or the Santa Ana?
Thanks so much!
My Fender tuner had a short life, I hope the components in these are higher quality. They sound good.
Lee’s face when DP didn’t get the “I’m old” joke. Hehe
I’m really intrigued by the Santa Ana, Pugilist, and Mirror Image pedals.
Is there going to be a video on the new sterling by musicman guitars that were at namm?
9:42 trust me after that laugh I bought like all of those pedals
Wow killer playing 😍👌
Captain is getting tasty! Pete dynamite as always.
great toss pete... made my day !!!
That was the oddest rendition of All My Life at 12:10
whats up with the John Mayer picture in the background?
Ok I’m commenting before I’ve watched the whole thing - damn Pete’s tele sounds edible (if something can sound edible) honestly I can taste the notes!! And Lee’s playing is awesome! Right gunna at the risk of sounding like my gran I’m gunna settle down to watch the rest 🤘😎🤘
My god Lee's playing in this is bloody tasty!!
loved the end jam, groovy my guys
The ending jam gentlemen! TASTYYYYY
