Watching this because I am trying to decide if I want to buy Altenew inks. I love their color selection and I definitely think the one with Altenew is the best one.

I bought the scrapbook inks when the were on sale. I am extremely happy with them where the color choices are concern. I love that they are number. I also love altenew inks. I have some mini's and am extremely happy with them. I do wish that they did have a numbering system like scrapbook inks. Thanks
I really think both are great! I do not feel one is better then the other!
I have some Altenew minis & when I got them I used a sharpie to number them, 1-4, to help me keep them in order. I like that Scrapbook has the sets named & numbered. I don’t know if I’ll try them, I have SO MANY inks! But I love the colors they have, I’ll have to consider trying them out. Thanks Desiree for such a great video.

I love ❤️ both companies inks as well, and I have that stamp set and have not used it yet and you just helped me and showed me how to layer it, lol I was confused with layering this set so thank you! I have those exact same colors as well from both companies. I’m about to go play 🏃🏾♀️🏃🏾♀️🏃🏾♀️

Thanks for doing this. I have the Altnew mini cubes, love them. But i recently purchased the Scrapbook inks in brown, I loved the options in the brown color family. In my oopinion no company matched this set. But I have not used them, nice to know that I purchased a quality item

Thanks for comparing these for us . It would be really hard to say I would suggest one or the other, as were you . They both have some really great benefits I am sure. I have not bought any of the scrap book ones yet but I do own some of the altenew . So this gives a great idea if I will or will not. So thanks greatly have a good week.

Thank you for the comparison. It’s interesting to see that Altenew has a bigger range between the lightest and the darkest hue, it creates more drama. So the Scrapbook colors are closer in hue and create a more harmonious look. I do prefer a hybrid ink so I can use water or alcohol depending on my desired look so even though I prefer the drama of the Altenew layering, the versatility of the Scrapbook ink makes them a tempting option.
Great way to break them down against each other!
It looks to me, that Scrapbook's color on the case is a good match to the ink. I will try Scrapbook, where they fill in what I have. I have a lot of Altenew and love them. I have this stamp set and it is easy to stamp. TFS

I am going to be buying colored inks in the next few weeks. I'm leaning towards getting the altenew mini cubes, but have not decided how many i need. I am thinking of going with the 72 and then adding on if/as I need them. I also want to add to my distress oxides (i only have maybe 15 or so of those, so must have more!!!). Thanks for doing this comparison.

Altenew is definitely darker. Scrapbooks colour does not fill in the flowers as much as Altenew. Does that mean that Altenew inks bleed? Thanks for sharing.
That is correct, Scrappbook.com has a softer difference between each of the colors within a set then altenew... altenew goes from the lightest of light to the darkest level within their color family...
I think the Altenew has better definition! Both nice, tho!

I have all the scrapbook.com inks and I have no complaints with them. Except maybe the design of the containers. Un fortunately, I did not get mine on sale.
I have to get use to containers as well. Although great entertainment for everyone when they see the inks go across the screen! LOL

Thanks for the comparison but I’ve found the Altenew ink cubes dry out very fast so in my favorite colors I’ve ended up buying the full size pads also. I have one set of the scrapbook.com which i really like and they we’re much cheaper than the altenew

Are Altenew inks hybrid?
I do not believe so, they are listed as waterbased dye inks
