I have one question, where you connect in this case the E-stop and the Limit switches?
How to connect stepper drive to this breakout board????????
Do you ever use with cut40 (HF no pilot arc) or cut50 (HF w/pilot arc) ? Wiring ?
I have used the THC with and without pilot arc both. But the performance is always better with the pilot arc. The wiring of the THC is the same whether you use the pilot arc or don't use it.

hi, i have a bl v1.1, using usb not printer port, does this board need a plug in dll file to run it like degital dream and ecomotion rnr?
Hi.. If you mean BL-MACH-V1.1 controller card, the USB port is given only to power up the card, but it will send signals only through parallel port. Could you please share the datasheet of your controller card, so that I can answer you more precisely?
@@softcircuits_labs thanknyou for your reply, you answered my question perfectly, i pirchased an ecomotiom rnr board and they sent me the pl -v1.1 , i dont have printer port in any of my computers.
@@mightyweapon The ecomotion RNR doesn't support the THC functionality. It's good for routers but won't work for plasma CNC. So, I guess you have 3 options - 1) get an old PC with parallel port. 2) get some other CNC card that has USB or 3) explore GRBL CNC controllers.
@@softcircuits_labs this is for a cnc cylinder honing machine, two nema34 12.5 nm, one drives ballscrew for z axis and one rotates the hone head (spindle) for me its easier to do this with mach 3, and as this is a portable machine im using a small notebook laptop as a large pc is not portable
@@mightyweapon in that case, USB mach3 is definitely a good option for you. If ecomotion RNR is not available, i think any USB MACH3 card will work for you application. (There are many such cards available online like this - www.amazon.com/Controller-100Khz-Breakout-Engraving-Stepper/dp/B08BJWF1GY/ref=sr_1_9?keywords=mach3+controller&qid=1660201979&sr=8-9 )

Is tuch Probe required
The THC functionality is independent of touch probe. So, if you need to use a probe system you can install it separately.

All the other parts are generic parts which should be available in electronics stores (online or offline) in your area.
sir me bhut preshan ho gya hu. lgatar 2015 se is board ko connect kr rha hu pr abtk nahi hua. me usb to parallel pot lgaya ha power usb bhi lgaya hai. ab aap meri help kro please ise chalane me
Hi Hariom.. I think the issue is with USB to parallel port converter. The only converter that works is the original UC100 cable, but that is not available in India and chinese clones are not good. I think you should try to find a computer with parallel port and try with the parallel port cable..

@@hariombhardwaj7620 well, I have not used the UC100 cable myself, since I couldn't get the original one and did not want to waste time on the clones. But, I have seen people use the UC100 cable and run mach3 parallel port controller on normal setup.
