I checked out your documentation. If you use a simple SIP power module(isolated) to power and galvanically isolate your circuit, and then use a driver with galvanically isolated inputs. This will isolate your circuit with with arc voltage input from the rest of your system and your Arduino (and screen ) will become the isolated analog circuit itself.
Great upgrade, but just you had it already sitting there or what cause price wise you can get a raspberry for the price of the mega or a couple esp8266 or esp32 boards but not sure if that has more power for your application. Btw great job with the open source thc! All the best and thanks for your videos!
An update on my last post re my Nextion Display problem. I fixed that problem by opening the .HMI file in the Nextion Editor and saved that , and reloaded the out put file which was saved into the later version which was compatible with the display version that I got. Now to see if I can get it to work with the THC itself which I have yet to try, but at least I have the interface working :)
Keeping my fingers crossed that this Authentic Arduino MEGA solves my issues!

Yes 50:1, if you plan on making one be careful these voltages give a nasty kick or kill. I'm not an electrical engineer so I didn't want to provide plans for that part... My plasma cutter already has one built in from factory.
Hello sir, i also made the cnc plasma machine without THC or z-axis. When i doing any job on the cnc is plasma torch is always on. When i doing holes in metal sheet is holes are done but the path is also cut. Pl's help me. The THC is needed to torch on/off or failure of sheetcam design when i made the design.
Hey man, yes because we have two systems controlling z it's that means you have to zero the torch for each cut. I would recommend a touching type z stop but there are a few you there. I use an inductive touchless proximity sensor for mine but it doesn't so well on aluminum...

You are like the rest of us that have bought the electronics and downloaded the info. It does not work your stuck like me no help here or from Openbuilds.

I have built this THC as described and I have a problem which I don't know what is the cause. When I boot up the THC all I get is an error message " File Version Too Low " which I don't know if it is referring to the Nextion or if it is the Arduino code ?? I know the Nextion works OK because it comes up with the basic screen display when I load the Nextion firmware which makes me think it is the Arduino code. Yes both the Nextion and the Mega are the right models and not knock off's any suggestions ?? Thanks.

So from memory it was a software version issue. It is gathering dust anyhow as I just went out and bought a real THC which was a Proma Myplasm complete system which is an all in one solution and no more headaches and worth the money imo in comparison.

We need help out here! Many of us do not have the skills needed to debug the github posted code. Does anyone have a working mega version working? I beg for a positive response..
@@jsmith44224 I wish I did I have spent over $100. on the parts (Uno and Mega) plus the time to print the case, and time trying to get it going with different computer work. I even went to his web page to send a message, just got an error. The RAT is in a hole hiding from us all. I got kicked off OpenBuild for telling the truth, their not help either.
