- Detroit Speed Project Fabricator and Tuner Eric Evans got to stretch the legs on the new 1987 Chevrolet Camaro Test Car before we track test later this week.
With that Holley Dominator EFI controlling that 8,500rpm capable Mast Motorsports de-stroked LS7, we can't wait to let 'er rip!

Awesome car fellas! I builds cars and i have used your parts many many times... I have actual got all Detroit speed suspension and chassis parts under may 67 chevy 2 and i wouldn't trust my wifes life to any other company, so her 69 camaro has your chassis and suspension parts under it... Hope to see more videos of this third gen in action. Everything done for this car is perfect and it is truly a case of the whole being better than the sum of the parts. I’m afraid to ask how much $$$ is in to it.

What size tires were you able to put under that car?
We are running a 315 squared setup.
what did you guys do to get a 315 under that car? Narrow a 9 inch rear or something?
A little bit of "massaging" and correct backspacing will allow 315 fitment on the Third Gen platform. For this car, we are running our Detroit Speed, Inc. Full Floater Ford 9". You can learn more about it with the link below...

Detroit Speed, Inc. I just picked up a 92 25th car and i want to put it on some of the c5 Z wheels. Would those work with maybe a set of 295s? Or would like 6.5 inch backspacing he needed?

What cam are y'all running to reach that high of RPM?
This is a Cam Motion 264/274 at 0.050 solid roller camshaft with 0.776/0.756-inch valve lift. We also run a titanium/inconel valvetrain to assist that. The motor is also de-stroked to 388ci.

We tinted the clear coat with some base black.

This car has Stainless Works resonators on it.

No 82 to 92 only had RS, Z28 or IROC-Z for primary packages. Huge note the 3rd Gen started the 1LE package so that cool considering what it means for current cars.

We have not measured top speed with this car, but I would assume it is capable of 170-180mph
