Mast Motorsports actually has a turnkey version of this engine this "Black Label 427" (even though it's actually a 388 c.i., after being destroked) for about $29,000 after tax. I think Mast did a little extra to this one, but not much.

This car is hard not to love. That being said, with the prospect of a foxbody on the way, I'd love to see a high compression (14:1 or more) 2v 4.6 based, big bore , running e85 screaming to 8-9000 rpm on the track like this. I know they exist. Just no videos of them

Wow, this is motivating me to get the Z28tt back on track! You guys did a great job on the car. Curious - What audio equipment did you use, and how did you process the video so the audio wasn't overdriven and clipped? The DSE-Z just sounds so good.

Detroit Speed, after building and racing this car for a while now. How do you guys like the 3rd gen Camaro platform? I've always thought they handle really well even in stock form for a car designed and built in the 80's... you all built one fine ride!

Is it just me or is the rear axle pushing on the R/H exhaust pipe over bumps?

I watched some other videos and noticed you don't have the front air dam anymore, third gens will overheat without it. You could probably notch it and make a new dam to help push air up and keep the hot air circulating out. That'd probably solve the water temp issue 🤷
So this is the 2nd time beating the Viper? Or is it a replay with the gauges and live video of the rear suspension? I remember a similar video
