Alot of people dont understand the video. Hes not keeping the tank, hes not gonna feed the fishes, and hes not going to fucking filter it. He used everything from the same environment: water sand plants amd fish. He's just demonstrating. Hes being creative
Hello, At last, someone that understands. Just think about how nature does things and the beauty it achieves. Now the real questions are how can we have realistic biotopes and not criticize a man who braves snakes to teach us. Be Well
Thanks you so much for putting up this video - showing us the way to create the most natural state of aquarium. Thanks you for your mighty efforts and time. You deserve the blessing.
Mr. Ivan, You are honestly talented. I'm a beginner aquarium hobbiest, I do truly consider myself as a beginner, even though i've had insane amount of tanks, fish pets, many many years...(well, 4years of failures), countless hours of stress and tears. Many many casualties... still till this day, have an ill balanced tank. BUT! I do love the tank set up beautifully... mesmerizing, the tranquillity of an aquarium. Your set ups are so helpful. Nature...less is more.
well, yes, but I presume these tanks are just showoff for a moment in time, and they need to be balanced to work days-weeks-months forward. - most tanks are nice in the start, but made wrong, they will go bad in time. sekond, I dont think the fish actually like that tank, they are behaving diffrently than when they where in their natural envoriment.
thank you so much for this post and others I have been a keen fish keeper for many years and i take great care and respect for all living things many thanks to you all Eddie Nam Myoho Renge Kyo

it is a good demonstration of real world of the fish, not an artificial one set up in living rooms to provide an interesting background. Those things are good of course, but like taking a wild animal out of the jungle an putting them in a zoo with concrete and moats is for humans, not for the animals. This is a way for us to see what their real world is, considering it is in a glass tank so we can observe. Very few people would do this in their home as it is not pristine, but is far more realistic than what we as humans provide. I often watch my fish swimming around in the world I have provided and worry they are not happy. I do my best but it is not like a real home.
judy hobday as much as i like the creative aquascapes that mimic real landscapes eg mountains, islands and tropical forests i really do find this biotope style interesting. it just feels pleasant to look at.
Ha! This is awesome to see these creations done in an aquarium right at the source. I bet the underwater videographer is on high alert any time filming after that snake at 8:29.
Me Gusta/Llama La Atencion Que Primero Muestren El Ambiente Natural De Los Peces Y Despues Comiencen A Organizar/decorar/hacer(Como Le Quieran Llamar) La Pecera!
I love how the ducks are all interested like "Sir, sir, please no fishing or touching the wildlife, sir, please. Sir, stop or we're going to have to attack you."
after reviewing the video several times, I’m like 99% sure the second snake was a venomous water moccasin, that are very aggressive and attack anything with lots of body heat, using heat sensing pits on its face. So I’m going to say the camera man was probably freaking out and trying to get the shit out of there.
Jerry Velasco in Venezuela there is no moccasin , viewing Helicops angulatus / mapanare water , which are abundant is the llanos , are rarely aggressive unless mating season the males are very aggressive
This is GREAT work, Ivan! This whole series is entirely spot on. I especially enjoy the shots such as the one at 7:15. There's a massive amount of information packed into those wide angle views - thank you very much for risking life and limb out there to bring us this data.
+Akil Jaber I think those aren't venomous. We have them where I'm from. In English they're called "Natrix". They feed on insects, fish and frogs. My friends would always bring 1 or 2 after camping trips to scare us :D We would them release them into local field where they would hunt mice :D
+billy „NaruTard” willy I think that second snake was a coral snake. They're highly venomous and their bites are very painful, that's why Ivan escaped that pond so fast ;)
Nice effect. The background is too symmetrical however. The log should be slightly further to the left. The last 2 or 3 clumps of 'grass' should have been left out.
Nice video, but I don't get all the fuzz here.. Bit of sand, a piece of wood and some plants positioned in one perfect line (not that 'wild' in my opinion). Some extra leaves of weeds would do the trick though.
I completely agree, all im saying is that this is illegal unless you return everything you took from the habitat. nice to know other people get what I'm saying,i know quite a few others who would say "They're just fish"

How you clean/maintain this type of tank?
when he saw the snake ..... holy shit im out of this pond
It really wasn't that scary in fact as long as it wasn't venomous I probably would have tried to catch and use it in the enclosure
Although I would probably have a bigger tank
haha doesnt matter your still the best love you works
+Akil Jaber I think those aren't venomous. We have them where I'm from. In English they're called "Natrix". They feed on insects, fish and frogs. My friends would always bring 1 or 2 after camping trips to scare us :D We would them release them into local field where they would hunt mice :D

YASKME007 😂
Mister Mikolji also made the youtube video "natural aquarium documentary"... that's a fantastic documentary for tank -, nature-, or fish - lovers.
Nice effect. The background is too symmetrical however. The log should be slightly further to the left. The last 2 or 3 clumps of 'grass' should have been left out.
No one asked you.
How did catch so many of them???
nice man (Y)
bonjour je voudrai savoir dans quelle rivière que vous prenet les poisson. et c'est dans quelle pays

Nice video, but I don't get all the fuzz here.. Bit of sand, a piece of wood and some plants positioned in one perfect line (not that 'wild' in my opinion). Some extra leaves of weeds would do the trick though.
