What a simple yet natural looking tank. thanks a lot for doing these biotopes for us who don't got the privilege of traveling to these sites in the wild
If I could redesign my tank from the substrate, decor to plants I would. Love the simplicity and natural feel he recreates. These videos have given me a lot of really good ideas.
Jesus, leave the guy alone. He is doing a great job of showing you these fish in their natural habitat while in the confines of an aquarium. I think he re-creates their habitat exceptionally and takes great care to make sure the fish undergo as little stress as possible. They are quite obviously put back and no harm is done to them. Keep up the good work! I sure wish I could have your job!
i just love the idea of this. i love building/ putting together a tank and i love being outside. this guy is doing both. i bet this is tons of fun. too bad he just tears it down after...
Thanks you for the efforts and time to make these wonderful videos but the annoying part is to listen to the same song three times. Hahaha! Keep up the good work rolling in.
I wish he would tell us where he was doing these things. (the river name or at least relative location) I feel I need to guess by the species of fish..
Lol...how do bring a 20 Gallon aquarium miles into the basin without breaking it...lol these natural aquariums you setup are cool and biotope inspiration!!! You should do some again 2021 edition? I noticed your hair is less gray in the video... LoL
Yes. Wild aquariums are inspirational, and are also meant to be an educational tool, and a way to encourage people to enjoy the outdoors and their closest body of water. You can always take a much smaller tank. The enjoyment comes from exploring the habitat.
Temporary or not, he is supposedly showing how to set up an aquarium, and when ever I set up one of mine, I always put in the pump way before any fish. Also I always include a few snails in a freshwater unit, they help keep both the water and the glass clear of green algea.
WAIT A SECOND, I knew the first piece of music sounded familiar! Isn't that from Age of Empires!? I was kind of thinking Civ III, but then I realized it's one of the tracks from AoE.
These are obviously inspirational videos for advanced aquarists looking to set up authentic biotopes .does everything have to be so black and white in your little kindergarten worlds ?
kapec21 the neon stripe of neon tetra don't extend until the end of its body but cardinal tetra do, if you want proof screenshot a pic of the fish in this video and compare them to the pics of neon and cardinal tetra on google

That's awesome. Can't believe you were actually diving in that half feet river. That's passion, right there. =D
So what happens after you have completed the aquarium? Do you put all the fish back into that stream and pack it all up? Or do you transport it?

I wish he would tell us where he was doing these things. (the river name or at least relative location) I feel I need to guess by the species of fish..
Could you do more videos like this one
Nice! Except he'd dismantle that same day coz there is no filtration nor water circulation
Can you please tell me what that tall grass like plant is at 14:45? Thanks.

What kind of stone is that? Wonder how many of these kinds of tanks he has at home set up?
What is the last song name?
i saw a tiny fish swimming around when he put the water in
If the fish doesn't need much space to stay alive, it's ok to have so many fishes
9:10 anyone else notice the fish In the tank
Yeah So?
Ava Palmer that's what I was gonna put and it was most likely because the fish was in the plant when he grabbed I have done it to a fish before
Good
It would be nice if you would talk more, like explain why and what you're doing.. Which would be more entertaining then the looping music.
how can i put sand in my aqarium
lucien barbarin, did you notice about the palstic bag he is using? its also quite the same...lol...
Nice idea, but impractical for most. How would you possibly clean that gravel?
Suzanne DeMark he put everything back after
Neon Tetras!!! and i think congo's.
😍😝😋😎like like like
I noticed it. I think it got released from one of the plants. Lol :D
It depends on what kinds of fish you would take from the wild.
anyone knows what that substrate is??? is it stone...or is it some sort of clay??? pls can someone tell me? tnx fish ppl :)
There is a very small fish. When he planted the plants I saw small fish

Green neon tetras
kapec21 those are actually cardinal tetras, they look alike but there are slight differences
I disagree. I just don't see any red on them. 17:34
Google pics and compare.
kapec21 the neon stripe of neon tetra don't extend until the end of its body but cardinal tetra do, if you want proof screenshot a pic of the fish in this video and compare them to the pics of neon and cardinal tetra on google
The video said they were paracheirodon simulans, which are green neons.

12:20 almost falls xD
do a tank with big fish.
Neon tetras are 3~4 dollars where you live?O: where i live theyre about 50 cents~3 dollars
He probably filmed this during dryer season where it didn't rain as much. In rainy season, the river will flow much faster.
09:31 not to creep you guys out there's another hand in the background where the tree is.
supe bonito
those are some type of tetras 😋😋😘
AAND, i noticed that little fish you catched with plant...
