I watch fishing and fishing content to learn. I like using my Active target. I don't watch because I enjoy watching fishing. I use it to learn, and informative channels are good content.
I love that you did the Alabama waters and Deep water series and hope you make more. Also love that guys aren't watching them because I don't want other guys learning all the great info in them
I like the fact that all these anglers are upset of the young coming in dominating their sport (bread and butter) after they have work for 20-30 years or more perfecting it. But most have RUclips channels or some type of training class they teach that is on youtube explaining in detail how to catch fish the way they have learned over the years. No matter the subject if there is a youtube channel explaining "HOW TO" then you just made a way for everyone to master it and what takes people months and months to perfect something now others have the ability to be great at it in just a few minutes watching youtube.

Its not cheating, its unethical. If you compete by all means use it while you can. I personally have no interest in it or any sonar. All I need is depth and temperature and I'm good. If I catch them I feel good, if I don't that's on me. They are going to incorporate AI into the sonar soon- eventually you can just sit back and watch the fish jump right into the Livewell. Also I find it hilarious that the first couple years it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Then the backlash started and now it's just a tool, I barely turn it on....honest! 🤣
I totally agree on the fact that the panfish will suffer the most. Bass tourneys are catch and release so no damage to the bass IMO. I really think most of complaints are from the cost for local clubs and such to compete.

Example: I unsubscribed to RB's crying channel years ago, got tired of the whining. He's drug down those associated with him, I unsubscribed to them too. Your videos and MB (&Boggs) are the only fishing videos I watch to the end. I want to get better at whatever I do, that why I watch your videos. Okay, I’m convinced that active target, live scope what ever you want to call it. I’m not against it, but here where I draw the line. I think that the middle school and the high school shouldn’t be allowed to use active target because it’s not teaching our younger kids and teenagers how to figure the fish out it’s not fair to them. I’m so glad I learned as a young person how to fish it’s made me a better fisherman now.
The biggest lie I have found about it is there is a group of guys that do a pod cast on my home lake all of the saying you have to turn it when you throw so the fish don’t run from the beam 😂😂😂😂. I’ve got it and I’ve never seen them run from it but these are highly respected anglers telling people this. Lies lies lies. 😮

I do believe that you are telling the truth about this .I really don’t care what anyone does if it’s legal knock your socks off. I don’t fish tournaments but if I did you could bet your bottom dollar that I would have that thing mounted on the front deck of my boat and I would know how to use it . I plan on having one mounted on my boat in the near future to enhance my fish catching abilities. I love catching big bass and I love catching and eating panfish and I believe that it would really help me increase my harvest.( oh yes before someone complains I don’t keep the bass ).
People have realized that in order to win you have to play the game... I have it, I watch videos on how to use it but wish I didnt have to use it, it is also very disappointing to see what it has done to the sport as a whole... Its crazy to see one piece of technology do so much damage and nothing to be done about it for far to long. FFS is only going to get better and the haters are going to get worse... In athletic sports, not water sports, hunting sports, motor sports, etc., there are rules the governing bodies initiate to curtail such unethical behavior to create a level playing field. Bats are regulated in baseball/softball, balls are regulated in all athletic sports, shoes, equipment and steroid testing in the body of the athlete. Fishing and hunting have allowed the participants to make their own code of ethics, fishermen and hunter’s are some of the biggest liars on the planet and everyone knows that…..what do we expect?

All the fishing industry does is lie. Remember the banjo minnow; or Bill Dance, Hank Parker and all of the other fishing shows that are filmed over the course of a week or more to make it look like it was done in one day; etc, etc, etc…
I wouldn’t say all, I’ve done quite a few shows. Let’s fish tv all done in one day, zona shows are legit. It’s why I try and do all my RUclips as much as real as possible

Even most people lie about how big the fish was, how many they caught, or me for example on what I caught with and how I caught them. Fisherman are known for embellishing, over exaggerating or willfully leaving things out to keep their secrets from getting out. Another example being RUclips fishing channels. 99% of them are done for selling things via affiliate marketing (TacticalBassin is the best example of that), sponsor product pushing, or overdramatizing things for clicks/views. I get the why on the first two of those, that’s how they make their living. Not knocking affiliate marketing or promoting sponsors by any means just pointing out that isn’t necessarily being honest. Unfortunately most don’t see it or know how to spot it and are somewhat taken advantage of. As for the remaining 1%, your channel being of 1 of very few, they seem to be more geared towards actually helping us consumers within the industry get better at fishing instead of acquiring “better” gear to fish with. It is truly appreciated.

Humminbird and 360 users are driving this hate. They are mad someone has a superior product. If the tournament org's ban live and allow 360 we'll know the fix is in and Lowrance and Garmin should end ALL relationships. Save the money you are paying anglers, reduce your prices to reflect and you will sell the same number of units. Livescope was selling well and gaining steam prior to the bass tournament anglers jumping on board.
In my own opinion. (First I have a friend that has LS and for one how on earth can you see anything your looking at! 😂. ) a “professional “ fisherman shouldn’t need such equipment. Hear me out ok, look your/y’all are professional bass fishermen and you got where you/yall are by knowing how , where and when to catch them right?. Ok so why do you need such equipment? I honestly believe no matter how anyone feels about LS that a paid professional anyone don’t need anything extra to help them win. You should stay to the minimum. So say a foot ball player has been catching the balls with his hands all these years, and all of a sudden, they put magnets in the balls and in the gloves. Well not that’s going to get him to the goal like having LS is going to help you catch fish, but it allows him to have a 95% chance to hang on the ball, just like dangling a bait in front of a fishes face , ok following me? So if he’s a professional ball player he shouldn’t need anything else to help him win. 2d, side image, and down image. Ok if anyone can’t catch fish that way, then you just need to stop fishing ok. The electronic industry is taking your money left and right because people want the easy way out instead of putting in the work to earn their way. tournaments should be four tournaments with livescope and four tournaments without LiveScore so it doesn't take the tradition of bass fishing away way too much pressure on these deep fish constantly and you know it and you shouldn't have five livescope transducers on your boat that's a bit unfair you got to draw the line somewhere

I don't use livescope and think it's a little bit of a cheat code. Maybe more of a exploit/glitch than a cheat. However I don't care if people want to use it. Especially if they are in a tournament and everyone else is using it. I do give the few buddies that use it a hard time for using it. We have done some on it. I can tell you its not co angler friendly

All the fishing industry does is lie. Remember the banjo minnow; or Bill Dance, Hank Parker and all of the other fishing shows that are filmed over the course of a week or more to make it look like it was done in one day; etc, etc, etc…
I wouldn’t say all, I’ve done quite a few shows. Let’s fish tv all done in one day, zona shows are legit. It’s why I try and do all my RUclips as much as real as possible

Even most people lie about how big the fish was, how many they caught, or me for example on what I caught with and how I caught them. Fisherman are known for embellishing, over exaggerating or willfully leaving things out to keep their secrets from getting out. Another example being RUclips fishing channels. 99% of them are done for selling things via affiliate marketing (TacticalBassin is the best example of that), sponsor product pushing, or overdramatizing things for clicks/views. I get the why on the first two of those, that’s how they make their living. Not knocking affiliate marketing or promoting sponsors by any means just pointing out that isn’t necessarily being honest. Unfortunately most don’t see it or know how to spot it and are somewhat taken advantage of. As for the remaining 1%, your channel being of 1 of very few, they seem to be more geared towards actually helping us consumers within the industry get better at fishing instead of acquiring “better” gear to fish with. It is truly appreciated.

Save the money you are paying anglers, reduce your prices to reflect and you will sell the same number of units.

In my own opinion. (First I have a friend that has LS and for one how on earth can you see anything your looking at! 😂. ) a “professional “ fisherman shouldn’t need such equipment. Hear me out ok, look your/y’all are professional bass fishermen and you got where you/yall are by knowing how , where and when to catch them right?. Ok so why do you need such equipment? I honestly believe no matter how anyone feels about LS that a paid professional anyone don’t need anything extra to help them win. You should stay to the minimum. So say a foot ball player has been catching the balls with his hands all these years, and all of a sudden, they put magnets in the balls and in the gloves. Well not that’s going to get him to the goal like having LS is going to help you catch fish, but it allows him to have a 95% chance to hang on the ball, just like dangling a bait in front of a fishes face , ok following me? So if he’s a professional ball player he shouldn’t need anything else to help him win. 2d, side image, and down image. Ok if anyone can’t catch fish that way, then you just need to stop fishing ok. The electronic industry is taking your money left and right because people want the easy way out instead of putting in the work to earn their way. Laziness is killing this country and the outdoor sports faster than we can shake a Stick at. It’s not just fishing it’s hunting too. God bless y’all.
tournaments should be four tournaments with livescope and four tournaments without LiveScore so it doesn't take the tradition of bass fishing away way too much pressure on these deep fish constantly and you know it and you shouldn't have five livescope transducers on your boat that's a bit unfair you got to draw the line somewhere
I am convinced that the RUclips livescope haters are secretly hoping and praying that it doesn't get any bans or limitations because nobody will watch their dumb videos about "my special 35 year secret that Almost won me an event one time"

I don't use livescope and think it's a little bit of a cheat code. Maybe more of a exploit/glitch than a cheat. However I don't care if people want to use it. Especially if they are in a tournament and everyone else is using it. I do give the few buddies that use it a hard time for using it. But if you and your friends aren't giving each other a hard time about something are you even really friends?
